Wow they are all great. My favorites are Silphymons Dark Evolution and Mega because i love Snakes. Shakkoumons Dark Evolution because it looks a bit like a flying Corpse or Gravestone. And Nr. 2 goes to both Dark Evolutions for Paildramon. They also fit perfect for Halloween especially Paildramons Dark Evolution and Shakkoumons as well Silphymons Dark Mega. Would love to see that they get added to the actual Digimon.
Hey Karn, love your videos. I wouldn't mind for the long run you make your original story, world, plot, gimmick, chosen kids and their digimon partners as a long run stuff in your channel. Kinda like a fakemon (pokemon) but make it digimon.
I can imagine these coming to fruition after that episode where Cody and Yolei were disturbed by their partners “killing” other digimon. Throughout the next episode(s), Cody and Yolei lose trust and begin fearing Kari and TK but at some point they need to Jogress which leads to them forming these alternate digivolutions.
I would imagine for TK and Codie’s dark dna digivoloution to take place around the time Cody fears DNA digivolving with tk. The conflict between Tk wanting to and Cody not wanting to would result in it going wrong and dark DNA digivolving.
What if the Adventure Digimon used the other armors? Basically “Courage” would be everyone but Agumon using the Courage armor, “Friendship” would be everyone but Gabumon and so on. Obviously Patamon and Gatomon would be excluded but their armor wouldn’t be.
something i really love about Dictadramon is that, being a sort of centipede with a centaur-styled torso, it's like a dark in-between of quadraped and biped, further emphasizing the dark twist on Imperialdramon
Fantastic designs, as always. I always wondered about dark DNA, but instead of dark spores infecting the children, I thought about just dark emotions in both the human partners. Like Takato was submerged by rage leading to Megidramon, or Masaru and Shinegreymon Ruin, two children who are so enraged against an enemy that they link their negative emotions. Instead of boosting the Digimon fusion with the power of their bond, the boost comes from the will to destroy what is in front of them, at all costs, leading to their partners to fuse in a twisted way. Imagine if in 02, TK kept on being obsessed with BlackWargreymon and the dark power, so furious that Cody starts to think like him, and then, let's say BlackWargreymon does something horrible, and both TK and Cody set to eliminate him, fusing their partner, not to defeat, but to kill. And only after the fight do they see how wrong all of this was
I think all of these are great but HOLY SHIZ FUZZY WENT HAM ON THIS!!! I’m also not a big fan of Shakkoumon but Skulldogumon is so freaking awesome. One of my favorite custom art Digimon featured on this channel! Dictadramon als kills it with being such a badass bug dragon. I love them both so much
These are all so good! I feel like dark DNA digivolvolutions could really happen if one of the kids is forced into it, or both partners don't see quiet eye to eye like Tai and Matt in Tri when omnimon fell apart

They're all so great! But the last one really invokes the term "Mega" to me. It really looks like it could single-handedly rule a portion of the digital world through power and cruelty alone.
One of my favorite topics to learn about is mythology/theology in different eras and and cultures. Seeing inspirations and references from those through the lens of a beloved childhood franchise is just extraordinarily satisfying.
All the artists did an amazing job! I love all the Dark DNA Ultimates and Megas! You gave them all great descriptions, especially for Dictatordramon! I can see him killing everything in sight, especially The Five Sovereign gods and pulling them in with his tail.

The further incorporation of Egyptian mythology into Apepmon, and the sheer grotesque wonder and other such quality having gone into Bombadramon and Dictadramon I found was also quite excellently executed. Once again, you and your team have done great work in bringing to the table your unique takes on these sort of "what if" scenarios for Digimon. All of these are so cool!! I love how Dictadramon still contains features distinct to ExVeemon and Stingmon, but they’re all recontextualized and made awful - ExVeemon’s.. ‘ear’ things turned into sort of antennae, all of Stingmon’s bug parts turned creepy, etc.!!
02 Digidestined: oh no! what have we done!? Our partners have dark DNA digivolved and are rampaging everywhere. Davis: i dunno guys. They do kinda look cool in a freaky-sorta way. Ken: Davis, Bombadramon is literally dragging that poor digimon into a cave to probably eat it. Davis: ...ok, maybe you're right, let's go.
I really love these! Haniwamon is probably my favorite of the bunch, something about it just feels very "Digimon", but they're all great! I really love the heavy cultural influences too. As always, if you ever wanna do any custom Digimon that take influence from Mesoamerica (The Aztec, Maya, etc) I'd love to work with you on that, since I already work with history and archeology channels on the topic. (As an example, I really think that for a "Fixed Reliability armor evolution" video, Gatomon's evo being based on Olmec Were Jaguar masks/sculptures would be a good concept: It'd represent the armor, it'd represent the feline elements, and they were associated with water and later Mesoamerican rain gods developed from, so it ties into the aquatic themes)

I would love if you covered all the combinations of DNA digivolutions at some point! I feel there's just better pairings than most of what we got (my favourite groups would be Davis and TK, Yolei and Cody, Ken and Kari, but also partial to keeping Davis and Ken to have TK and Kari), and it would be super cool to explore more of them. I think there's 12 others we could have? Quite a lot on some level!
I would love a video where the digidestined had evil/dark digimon partners, kinda like the video where you assigned each of them 1 of the 7 great demon lords. I just really like the idea of a team of digidestined with digimon partners like keramon, arcadiamon, dracmon etc
These are equal parts cool and creepy and I love each one of them! Here’s a thought: what about “Ruin” mods for the Digimon Savers partners? The ruin mode is effected by negative emotions and that would be interesting to see come out in other Savers partners, and not just the main ones (Gaomon, Lalamon, and Falcomon) but others like Kudamon, Kamemon and the PawnChessmons. This is such an interesting concept! And an awesome looking concept too. All designs are amazing. I like Bombadramon, Dictadramon, and Skulldogumon the most. Specifically Skulldogumon because it looks like a demonic version of Shakkoumon. I love Angemon/angelic details in the design.
Hey Karn, on reddit someone put the 02 Partners into lines for four Sovereign digimon. And surprisingly its extremely fitting for Amadillomon, Hawkmon, Veemon, and Wormmon to become the Sovereigns. Plus the guy included Willis' partners of Lopmon and Terriermon as a pair to DNA digivolve into Huanglongmon. Tho Rapidmon gold would make more sesne for the DNA digivolution. Since Huanglongmon is gold like the Armor of Miracles. But that's just a minor nitpick I have.

But if Willis is retconned to not exist, I hope not, then Gatomon and Patamon could DNA digivolve into Huanglongmon if they were Nefertimon Pegausmon. Or better yet a four way dna divolution with Lopmon and Terriermon could occur resulting in Huanglongmon.
Future custom Art idea: Ruin Modes for all the Data Squad partners, including a ShineGreymon Ruin Mode that isn't just 'Burst Mode with different color fire'.

Like courage, friendship, and miracles on xvmon instead of just vmon. And knowledge and reliability on ankylomon. And maybe a step further with their jogress, like light, love and sincerity for sylphymon. And hell maybe even go nuts on courage, friendship, kindness and miracles for imperialdramon. Just feeding the suggestion bin.
To this day I love the fact that Dry- or you, unsure- made Heiracosphynxmon a follower of Bastemon, and on the exact opposite end of that spectrum I had Apepmon fight it constantly. Fun coincidence.
Those are pretty freaking cool. SkullDogumon is probably my favorite. NGL I always kind of wondered what other 02 DNA Digivolutions would look like. Like if Gatomon and Angemon, or Stingmon and Hawkmon DNA Digivolved.
I picture the first time it happening the two Digidestined are arguing (either because of spores or them showing opposite emotion of one of their crest) and their digivices burning a dark crimson as it starts up.
I think an interesting concept of dark digi-evolution could be called inverse evolution, for example instead a crest or digi-egg of courage it's coward-ness, instead of a crest or digi-egg of hope it's hopeless and so forth. Maybe you could do something like that Karn.
Hierocasphinxmon and Haniwamon are my favorites, my only complain abt Haniwamon though is that is an dark mega that i can envision way more for a ankylamon dark line only, i dont see much of Patamon line in there to settle as an DNA evo. I love Dry's rendering and style, so its highly appealing whenever his comissioned in these fanart videos. Didnt know about the haniwa, its always nice to learn something new abt an culture when exploring digimon etymology be it canon or fanart. Also, i love that we got to see new megas, as you said we can do mode changes later, but also i think the new imperialdramon line from DTCG (EX-3 set) super works in this line too, especially the Alternative Art that shows the dragon chestplate with tongue out. OH and i STAND for Shakkomon, i had always love it. So im here to defend they!
Now this was awesome , my favourite one was bombardramon, definitely feels like a successor to Skullgreymon main digimon turn evil. For a bother idea for the spooky digital month: all 01 digimon corrupt ultimates from weregarurumon - Angewomon
I would see Dictadramon think itself to be so high and mighty that it would deem Yggdrasil beneath and try to dethrone it. But it could have a mode change making it a proper dark mirror to Imperialdramon. But that's just me. Great vid Karn!

I always thought I would be cool to see a season where maybe 1 or 2 of the digidestined fall and have full dark digivolution lines from champions to mega till they redeem themselves
I don’t know how intentional it was but I like how Bombadramon sort of resembles Kimeramon in design. It’s a cool callback to Ken’s worst creation when he was evil as the Digimon Emperor.

I could see these in a dark cannon where in the episode one of the partners lose themselves to anger or hate driving them mad as the force the fusion.

Those are pretty freaking cool. SkullDogumon is probably my favorite. NGL I always kind of wondered what other 02 DNA Digivolutions would look like. Like if Gatomon and Angemon, or Stingmon and Hawkmon DNA Digivolved.
I picture the first time it happening the two Digidestined are arguing (either because of spores or them showing opposite emotion of one of their crest) and their digivices burning a dark crimson as it starts up.

SkullDogumon is definitely my favourite the iron maiden like design and the head almost similar to SkullKnightmon’s chest piece

I think an interesting concept of dark digi-evolution could be called inverse evolution, for example instead a crest or digi-egg of courage it's coward-ness, instead of a crest or digi-egg of hope it's hopeless and so forth. Maybe you could do something like that Karn.

Hierocasphinxmon and Haniwamon are my favorites, my only complain abt Haniwamon though is that is an dark mega that i can envision way more for a ankylamon dark line only, i dont see much of Patamon line in there to settle as an DNA evo. I love Dry's rendering and style, so its highly appealing whenever his comissioned in these fanart videos. Didnt know about the haniwa, its always nice to learn something new abt an culture when exploring digimon etymology be it canon or fanart. Also, i love that we got to see new megas, as you said we can do mode changes later, but also i think the new imperialdramon line from DTCG (EX-3 set) super works in this line too, especially the Alternative Art that shows the dragon chestplate with tongue out.
OH and i STAND for Shakkomon, i had always love it. So im here to defend they!

Now this was awesome , my favourite one was bombardramon, definitely feels like a successor to Skullgreymon main digimon turn evil. For a bother idea for the spooky digital month: all 01 digimon corrupt ultimates from weregarurumon - Angewomon
I would see Dictadramon think itself to be so high and mighty that it would deem Yggdrasil beneath and try to dethrone it. But it could have a mode change making it a proper dark mirror to Imperialdramon. But that's just me. Great vid Karn!

I think my favorite detail in this video is that Dictadramon's blue, Veemon-species-esque arms remind me of Dagomon's tentacled limbs.

I wanna see that idea of Dinobeemon with inverse dominant attribute partner in the DNA digivolution, and even extending out to having Mega and Mode Changes.
I always thought I would be cool to see a season where maybe 1 or 2 of the digidestined fall and have full dark digivolution lines from champions to mega till they redeem themselves
Never been a fan of that incense, myself, so I'd definitely say it's a fitting tool for a dark angel.
I don’t know how intentional it was but I like how Bombadramon sort of resembles Kimeramon in design. It’s a cool callback to Ken’s worst creation when he was evil as the Digimon Emperor.
