Dalia Perez It’s not - it’s the volume 2 opening, which is Time to say Goodbye. Die is a different v2 song, specifically the one that plays during v2ch4, during the fight with Roman.
The best decision Rooster Teeth ever made: signing on Jeff Williams and his daughter Casey. They make some seriously good shit in both RWBY and RVB.

Well, the world of Remnant is... well, crazy. I think they really wanted to hammer home how unlike a fairytale adventure story, the real world is cold, and doesn't care about how you feel. It's a world shrouded in darkness, dust, and blood.
Not excusing any plot holes or inconsistencies. Merely just stating my observation for the insane world that is RWBY.
It's been so long since I have watched it I can't even remember where I got to, end of Season 4 maybe? I'd love to have the seasons 1-6 Bluray just for Seasons 1 and 2, those were fantastic! Just imagine how good Season 3 could have been, the Velvet Vs Mech fight was the only fight I felt lived up to the previous seasons. It's almost as shocking of a change as One Punch Man Season 1 vs Season 2. I just never felt the thrill of the fight again, with RWBY Season 2's Food Fight being an absolute masterpiece, even watching at 0.25x speed and it never feels dull! There is action every single frame! Can't say that about any fight after Season 2.

Same here. I have been rewatching/ listening to reactions to the series and im at like 9 run throughs since december. I absolutely love this show and world and of course this music. I havent even listened to any music that isnt from here in that same time period.

@@victorleveille9339 Back in January of 2015 Monty had a severe allergic reaction and got put into a coma, in February he had passed.

The nostalgia of the first seasons reminds me of how much we miss Monty Oum.
I cant help but imagine all the great batlle scenes he would have been able to design.
Even if I'm not the biggest fan of the writing of the show, the music has never let me down and at this point, I doubt it ever will.

Wild to think I started watching this series as a young teenager. Now i'm a young adult still watching the later seasons or re-watching the whole thing.
Feels weird, especially reviewing an episode and remembering the good ol' days.
RWBY had a lot of problems (I liked the series but it was never the same after Monty passed :( ) but holy shit the sound track was never one of them
I love this series so much, and I have since my brother first introduced me to it when i was in like 4th grade. I litteraly sang time to say goodbye for my 5th grade talent show and didnt stop talking abt it all through 6th grade. These songs bring back so many memories and just afnsnjnljfes I love this series so much and introducing me to it is one of the only good things my brother has ever done for me, ill forever be grateful for that

i love this soundtrack so much! I always listen to this when im doing homework and i get so hyped up! RWBY is amazing and i can't wait for new episodes and songs
All the people that hate on RWBY don’t understand the deep feelings these episodes these song put into us. No matter how many flaws it shows because each thing ties right back to you. People want action action action in shows and this show is the opposite it makes sure to give us themes and finally an “anime” that we could relate back to our own lives. Monty R.I.P thank you for creating a wonderful piece of art a lot of people don’t appreciate you truly are the greatest

Such a good anime, I normally can't stand CGI in anime but I gave it a shot and now I'm loving it.

Depending on how much you've watched thus far, the show only gets better over time, both in its narrative and in its animation quality - some volumes have slower pacing and weren't as well-received by fans, some even left the show entirely! But even these volumes are brilliant to watch. Trust me when I say the show is worth the full watch, I decided to rewatch RWBY after the first couple of episodes of volume 7 came out and ended up binging volumes 1 through 6 a few days ago and now only appreciate the narrative even further / plus the soundtracks are absolute bangers as well, so that's only a positive. Enjoy watching the rest of RWBY!

This is a great mix. My one gripe is that some of the songs are so much quieter than the others so you have to turn up the volume to hear them. Then all of a sudden the next song is blowing out your eardrums.

I agree with you on fight scenes, but the fights were never why I watched RWBY in the first place. I saw lovable characters and an interesting world that I saw great potential in. The epic Monty fights were only the frosting on the cake to me. RWBY felt in the beginning like an indy project that could only go up in quality. However Rooster Teeth since Monty's death has disappointed me time and time again over the quality of this story's writing direction. I'm fed up to the point that I decided to take matters into my own hands and rewrite RWBY and make it better then Rooster Teeth could ever hope to make it. I'm currently writing a narrative behind all the 4 OG trailers, interconnecting them in a way that will make these 4's meeting in Volume 1 more special.

@@noox13 You can't use the subjective argument every time someone has a criticism. Sure art is subjective but an artist should always strive to do their very best no matter the circumstances. Rooster Teeth has become a corporate entity who doesn't give a crap about the quality of their art. It would be like after painting the Mona Lisa Da'Vinchi just threw paint on a canvas. The Artist needs to care about their work over everything else.

rwby will always have a special place in my heart. It was my first anime type show i ever watched. But man every really season 3 its been kind of disappointing but io hope this new season coming out soon will be good but i dont have much faith anymore.

The best thing to come out of RWBY post Monty-Oum.
Some of the songs seem to be/are cut up. Is this intentional or accidental? I burn is a prime example of this since there was only a minutes worth of different parts of the song, when the song is almost four minutes long.

ngl...The first song I heard years ago and Ive always known about it but never knew who made it, what the name of the song or if it was even related to a show/ movie/anime. I feel kinda stupid but also im kinda glad I finally know and hear it again after so long.
When people are demolishing the poster for not crediting the artist and he has the only video I've seen that cited the song's source.
I wish this show had better writing. The characters, while I enjoy them and see potential, are sadly wasted and have nearly no growth. The only character I can say had incredible character growth was Weiss. Pyrrha, for whatever reason, was killed off (though I hope we get to see her return in Ice Queendom), which resulted in hardly ANY character growth from Jaune (there was some, but not a lot); Yang lost and got her arm cut off and became this puddle of depression (yeah I understand the PTSD part I mean she got her fricken arm cut off but with the tech they have, they created a whole new, better, arm for her. Besides, you're considered the fricken Super Saiyan of RWBY! As Goku would say, “Get back up and eat that horse!), Blake....we don't talk about Blake’s horrific downhill slope of a character, Sun and Neptune are nowhere to be seen, CRDL disappeared from the face of the planet, Qrow is no longer voiced by Broly (a giant F you to RT and Funimation btw), we're no closer to an ending to the story, AND WHEN THE HELL DID YANG AND BLAKE DECIDE TO BECOME A FRICKEN THING!?!? IT WAS A FAN-MADE PAIRING THAT RT FORCED DOWN OUR THROATS!
My conclusion, I don't see this series recovering which is why I think RT decided to do I a (what think) bit of a retcon with this new series coming out. We’ll see.

This was the 1st anime that made me cry and i will never forget how much i cried and I'm forever thankful that i got feel the way i did. i love Ruby rose as my fav rwby character/anime character of all time

Not super keen on this, because it mixes together the ends of some songs, it's really quite compared to other average song volumes so if you crank it up and the playlist ends it goes really loud, but if you leave it normal it's hard to hear, and from 1:23:43 to 1:25:01 there's just no audio for over a minute. But hey, music is still good, just a weird playlist.
