I'm afraid Dave Rodgers didn't create enough of a group to succeed his group of creatives. If Super Eurobeat dies one of the greatest music genres to ever be created could die. Thankfully there is a lot of youtube activity so this is keeping Eurobeat from completely fading. But there hasn't been a single classic made in the genre for about 10 years. It's about time to refresh it.

Long ago though Dave Rodgers stated the recipe in a legendary quote of his when asked what is Eurobeat, he said: “Eurobeat is music made in Italy, for Japan, and loved by the world.” This captures the essence of Eurobeat. I would expect someone from that style to make a renewal of the genre. Maybe Dave should have pushed Kaioh to make more music. Sunlight is a very good track. But you need artists with energy like GO2 and that group of vocalists who really could give a run for the money to synthesizers.
