Thank you for making such an amazing soundtrack! All of these songs are incredible. Hearing Guide My Way in particular, however, especially that last minute and a half, filled me with a joy that I haven't felt in years.
I can't think of a better way to say it. I was worried when I heard Jeff Williams was stepping down, but Martin Gonzalez has done such an amazing job with this soundtrack, and of course Casey Lee Williams always gives some impressive vocals. I really hope that season 10 gets greenlit as it would mean more great RWBY music!
Here because all the soundtracks got delisted on streaming and a lot got deleted here on TH-cam. Hoping you and Casey make a comeback someday when Volume 10 returns!
Yeah, same. Had some of my favorites from this setup in a playlist on premium youtube music under downloads, and it still doesn't stop this crap from happening. Shame, but I think it has something to do with the show being bought.
The Edge almost always gives me chills and makes me tear up. Easily my favorite song in the entire series at this point honestly. I'm also just a complete sucker for stuff with influence from shoegaze, and that chorus has that feel for sure.
I've gotta ve honest here. Trapdoor is easily the best song in RWBY. I used to be pretty split, but now it easly takes it. Chatterbox is also freakin amazing too, always down for another Neo song.
@@FifthKazekagGaara Yeah, Guide my Way is freakin sweet. Just a bit to cluttered for me to call it the best. Honestly, I absolutely love every song from this season outside of The Edge. Trapdoor just takes number 1 for me. Then Chatterbox 2.
I listen to this playlist every morning without fail as I commute. It soothes the soul of my past whilst giving me the confidence to move forward. Every RWBY song stains my heart, but Volume 9 and its OST holds a very special place. I will be devastated if I don’t get to see the full story of these amazing characters that I’ve loved like a part of me for a decade now.
To me its just awesome that both Casey and Martin Gonzalez wrote all of these songs, I don't know why I really liked this volume, the soundtrack was awesome to. I think Casey wrote a few songs herself before and they were amazing too. I can remember when guide my way came on and I was just is that red like roses then it said it. I always really enjoy the Ruby soundtrack and really wanted to say thank you to Jeff being so awesome it was always something I looked forward to and its crazy to think he was writing and producing the songs for 10 years I believe. Thank you very much
You and casey man you two unironcally made the best ost this shows seen i cant wait to see your amazing work in volume 10 (Also you nailed what i expected red like roses 3 to sound like)
Considering the big nostalgia bonus the soundtracks of the earlier volumes have for me, I was really surprised when the style of the music started changing and I liked it just as much, if not even more. On one hand there's the trippy, chaotic, dream-like feeling of this volume that I felt instantly in the first few seconds of "Inside". But it also feels like the characters and tone of the show have been maturing with every volume and the music is reflecting this too. That or I'm projecting my own feelings of growing up onto it. Either way, both the score and vocal tracks are fantastic and watching this volume I got excited every time I heard the music experiment with other genres. I really want to see more shows or movies incorporate stuff like this, especially the progressive metal.
You kill it on the 7 string man! Easily my favourite new guitarist tbh, combining stuff I might not be inclined to listen to alongside metal influences. The melodic stuff going on at 20:36 is beautiful, not sure what the instrument playing alongside the guitar is or if it's just effects but it's awesome. Less than 1000 subscribers is crazy considering the talent, but I suppose you have a long road ahead of you. Get big so people will tab out your stuff for me (just to be frustrated that it's too hard to play😂)
I just need to get this out because OMG does Chatterbox hit so freaking hard. I think what makes me really like it is because of the PHAT ride, Breaking Benjamin-esk sound (in my opinion, like in So Cold, I will not bow, and Torn in Two). Fr the coldest RWBY track to date. Awesome stuff goin on.
well, I'll be damned I didn't know you had a TH-cam channel. Just wanted to say I think this soundtrack is the best the music in rwby has ever been. So far ive learned the solos for The Edge and Chatterbox and man they are so much fun to play the level of musicality is so good. did you by any chance have tabs for these songs?
The soundtrack has 43 songs, but these are the ones Casey and I did together :) Hope you enjoy!
Finally, it's sooo good!!!!!
Thank you for making such an amazing soundtrack! All of these songs are incredible. Hearing Guide My Way in particular, however, especially that last minute and a half, filled me with a joy that I haven't felt in years.
the voice actor for winter was at my con erlier this year........would you guys ever come to the comicon in philly?
It's incredible mates
Awesome soundtrack
Loving the new sound. It's still unmistakably RWBY, but somewhat harsher and heavier, and I'm all here for it.
I can't think of a better way to say it. I was worried when I heard Jeff Williams was stepping down, but Martin Gonzalez has done such an amazing job with this soundtrack, and of course Casey Lee Williams always gives some impressive vocals. Given the themes of this volume it's not surprising.
Here because all the soundtracks got delisted on streaming and a lot got deleted here on TH-cam. Hoping you and Casey make a comeback someday when Volume 10 returns!

I honestly love the constant feel of this album. Every song has some sort of distortion/chaos with dream like qualities.
you guys NAILED the song *guide my way* my god i cant stop listening to it!!!!
The Edge almost always gives me chills and makes me tear up. Easily my favorite song in the entire series at this point honestly. I'm also just a complete sucker for stuff with influence from shoegaze, and that chorus has that feel for sure.
Me too, and GMW. The ending is just 😮💨
Finally a full Version to the rwby finds herself song.
You and Casey always blow it out of the water. But this is truly something else, some of the best music I've heard in years.
I've gotta ve honest here. Trapdoor is easily the best song in RWBY. I used to be pretty split, but now it easly takes it. Chatterbox is also freakin amazing too, always down for another Neo song.
i dont know Guide my way id pretty great to the beginning feels like a persona song then wraps back into RWBY then a mix of the 2 for me
The edge zzz

Amazing work! Chatterbox is now one of my favourite RWBY songs!
Finally! My respects to Casey and Martin for their amazing work. I hope to hear from you in the new seasons!
you and Casey really injected new life into the soundtrack, most refreshing songs from the show in years, amazing job!

These tracks are straight-up bangers!
Probably the best RWBY Volume OST in its long run. Absolutely astounding showing from you both!
Omg, I waited so long for a full version of Checkmate, and I'm NOT disappointed, these are awesome!!
Chatterbox is my favourite song off all RWBY songs
Holy shit. This is incredible. One of the best soundtracks that I have ever heard for anything.
You and casey man you two unironcally made the best ost this shows seen i cant wait to see your amazing work in volume 10

This is my favorite OST to date. You and Casey did a PHENOMENAL job on this.

I love Checkmate it makes me want to dance and the parts of the trumpet reminds me of Flynt!!
These songs and this whole volume have been so well done. I love all the work you've accomplished. Looking forward to seeing more.
Amazing work, the music felt like a perfect mix of the older RWBY and OK Goodnight songs!
Stunning work

10/10!
These are literally my favorite songs from Vol 9. Is there any update on these getting back on Spotify any time soon?
0:01 Inside
3:42 Checkmate
7:22 Chatterbox
11:18 Trapdoor
16:04 Guide My Way
21:26 The Edge
Mostly for my purposes but to help out others as well
Loving the fact that from song to song the mood of OST changing from adventuros to sinister and depressing and then to hope...

Buenísimo. Felicitaciones
THE GOAT
Trapdoor has something of a Hiroyuki Sawano feel.

This entire season made me question my entire personality and sexuality. I am 22. you people are magical.
That comment is g@y if you base your life in fiction

How long did it take you to compose Trapdoor? I love it!
☝️ *promo sm*
Worthy? Quiet?
These are only the songs he worked with Casey on.
It's okay, I get it. Reading the video description is hard.
Oh ok. Then those were Casey alone then
