@tybeejeffro - Thank you for the kind note. TOPS will actually be taking this option into consideration. I cannot promise any manner of time table, but I hope as much as many that this option will become a reality. In the mean while the Back Bite is conveniently carried by many, with discretion in the IWB configuration.
Absolutely still in production. Legendary blade. Company called TacKnife makes a highly effective trainer. Be sure to check out Kevin Secours review of the Back Bite. Cheers
I think it’s a brilliant design and I want one. It’s like he has combined the best from a Karambit, a straight blade and maybe a Koga Baton, I can see a lot of potential control techniques with this. As Sonny wrote: “This is a serious tool for serious applications”.
Absolutely love this knife so far! By far the coolest, and probably the deadliest fighting knife I have which is saying something. I don't have the most extensive collection but I have everything from Emerson to Spyderco /w emerson opener to Ka Bars, Gerber, etc, etc. My favorites are the Ka Bar USMC Short, the Tops Backbite, Emerson Karambit, Spyderco Paramilitary 2 and the Spyderco Warrior H1 Steel (good luck finding one for a reasonable price these days though... :( ..... ) The Tom Brown Tracker is still high on my list but I think I want that Street Scalpel or Cali Cobra first!
It's so crazy how close this design is to one of my own. I am ordering this right now as a B-day present to myself :). WIll be my EDC with my HK P2000 .40 LEM or HK USP
@babyeatsdingos I'm referring to the other guy who starts talking his bullshit at 2:00. The problem with having a little knowledge is the temptation to impress those with a lot of knowledge. There are 2 ways of learning; 1 is to surrender your ego and learn and the other is to check what you're hearing and compare it to what you know. The latter is ineffective.
Thanks for the daily, lol. It is obvious based upon your insightful comment that you know far more about "real" knife attacks than I, and have also spent quite a bit more time in prison. Feel free to stick to what ever type of training that you feel are best suited to the style of attacks most probable in prison. The choice is yours, you can train for what is both probable and what is plausible, or keep that tooth brush that is up your a** sharp and ready.
Are these cliche assumptions all you've got? Apparently not, you also came back with some very nondescript credentials to back up what you can only assume. If you want to come back with another rank and file reply that's fine. But, I am done with you. What ever your experience with Military and Law Enforcement might be, mine is in training them. Don't mistake a video that shows various situational applications for training. If you want to continue on debating nonsense, take it to the forums.
I just ordered the backbite. can’t wait to get it. I have the operator 7 and I love it
how did you modify the clip? i am not a big fan of the rotating clip, and was wondering how to go about that

Im curious. Sell the live blade and trainer blade together? Still in production?

@@cdespins4003 thank you very much
SHOT show vids are nearly impossible to hear.

@burquesolidier - Check out the Max Venom blog for "mod my back bite".
Nice, but if the police find this on me, will they take it from me??

Too much time spent trying to impress with YOUR knowledge instead of listening to the designer explain the philosophy.
