that is right,it is not a survival knife at all,and batoning is something you allmost never need to do. But i am a little worried it is too thick for a smaler fighting knife,the should be super slicey, and have a shallow grind. And it is to short for reaching vital organs,atleast from alot of angles. It looks cool, but i dont know how practical it is in real life
