Hmm not sure why.. make sure you are inn rendered view mode inn the camera view. If that doesent hjelp. I suggest saving and restarting blender. Perhaps appending your old project file into a new blank scene. Hope you solve your problem :) - CG Viking
Make sure you're on Evee render engine. And also hit z on keyboard make sure you view in rendered view mode. If you havent figured it out already :) - CG Viking
I needed a video editor and installed Openshot. This program needed Inkscape and Blender to work. This is how I discovered this exciting program, Blender. I've done your tutorial, easy text, in verson 2.79. An update of Openshot is compatible with 2.80 and I think this is the right version to start with, since there are so many changes. Now I'm almost halfway into this tutorial. I was stuck a long time last night, 5.17 out in your tutorial. I didn't understand what you were doing to bring up renderview. But I found another way to do it, an icon at the top of the window to the right. Now I will continue to work on this tutorial. It will probably take some time, but I hope you are working on a new tutorial in 2.80. I will need it.
Hi May Anita Great to hear you're discovering blender 2.8, yes its not that clear in the tutorial but im pressing the letter "Z" on my keyboard bringing up the pie menu. As you said its also possible to enter rendered view using tha button up top at the right. But using "z" as a hotkey is a faster workflow :) - CG Viking
Hi guys, long time no see, coming at you with another blender tutorial. This time we are making a retro-style 3d render with use of the new Eevee render engine in blender 2.8 BETA. - CG Viking
Ran through tutorial, couldn't get the final result. Lights are dark, bloom doesn't illuminate. Even with split screen, viewing in rendered mode, rendering w/EEVEE, and all settings matched yours. Still no bueno. Anyone have similar issue or know the workaround?
@@cgviking8459 Was able to get *similar* result in viewport (although it only render in black and white?), but had to bump the power of point lights up to 1000 and drop the bloom threshold to zero. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i made one of these and submitted it to a discord server and i got good comments on it and bad, such as the text is hard to read and the floor looks not so good is there a way that i could make these look better... if u wish to see it dm me on discord Twitch blufx #8785
Super helpful. You don't go too fast or too slow, and the end result looks awesome. Thanks for making these!!
fantastic! deserves waaay more views!
But the first light is no that much lengthy for me.... What to do..????
sir one doubt how to render that emage how did you change the color at5.19sec
Hey thanks. I liked this.
the bloom doesn't work
When I press bloom nothing happens and the picture is still the same, in on eevee aswell.
