Whoever gets to do the example swatch pages and comparison tables for the guides and blogposts has the best job ever.
Those connecting stickers are *genius*. The person on their product design team who thought of having a little trash slot in the dispenser deserves a raise
@@lasarith2 I hope I never become so jaded that I can’t find delight in thoughtful design choices
@@argella1300 it’s not thoughtful at all it’s just a fancy tape , the fact you think it’s genius shows you never thought to use normal tape or fancy tape to do what everyone else does .
What I wouldn't give to be the kind of person that would regularly fill a 10 year diary
Yes! I wish I was the kind of person who could fill up any kind of diary/notebook. My best effort was about 7 days and I’ve been trying for years! 😂
Fr its a struggle for me to even update my bullet journal 1-2 times a week & I have an extremely minimalist setup
it's only a few lines each day, so it is a much easier habit for me to keep than other kinds of journaling. i do my spanish duolingo and my 10-year journal at the same time every night.
10 years is crazy! Love to see someone’s finished one tho
i'm on my fourth year in one right now! hopefully i keep up with it for the full 10 years.
Oddly specific yes, but those half sized "laptop friendly" notebook would be so useful in so many occasions!
I love mine.
It also works well at conferences when you don't have a writing surface.
Those notebooks are actually pretty common in all countries that use ISO paper formats.
The ISO formats were specifically designed to allow for that kind of operation: halving one format gives the next format in the series that has the exact same ratio between length and width.
And although the majority of regular books are bound on the long side, notebooks bound on the short side are not a rarity.
And "half B5" is simply B6.
These are SO specific but make ao much sense. The half size notebooks and the stickers that makes you add paper are my favourites.
I genuinely gasped at the punched hole reinforcement tool!
Yeah, a lot easier than the way we had to do it in the dark ages! I don't miss that at all!
Those circular reinforcements have been around as long as circular punches. Cor blimey.
Yes they are but not as a stamp like in the video. Here in Germany they are on a band where you have to peel them off.@@datgrrl5698
@@datgrrl5698The wow! is at the applicator, not the rings. A knife or similarly fine-tipped tool works about as well, but gimmicks sell.
@@totally_not_a_botA knife absolutely does not work as well. I own one, and was able to reinforce a few dozen pages in the span of a couple minutes, with zero waste.
Connecting stickers are genius!
I thought the same. I attach pages to each other that way all the time with tape so having something cute that functions the same is a game changer.
I absolutely can use the Kokuyo One patch hole reinforcer at work!!! I plan to add that to my next order for sure!
i've been using the midori 10-year journal for a few years, and it's honestly pretty fun to see what i was doing one year or two or three years ago on that day, and i end up mentioning it to my coworkers or family when it pertains to them. i don't often have time to read through my other journals, but the set-up and use of the 10-year journal makes it so i review past years regularly.
I love all the Japanese stationary products. It makes you to write and write using your hand and learn , which goes deep into your brain.
I love the one patch hole reinforcer
the tape having a binder clip graphic is cute, and funny at the same time.
The Sun-Star Index Punch is such a game changer. What items stood out to you from this video? Do you have any oddly specific stationery in your collection? Tell us in the comments.
The laptop-friendly noteebooks seem perfect for studying specifically. I think Traveler's Company also makes similar ring notebooks in that shape/size.
I love those multi year diaries and the side/corner punch
I got the Kokuyo One Patch Hole Reinforecer when I was writing a lot of notes for school and the pages kept ripping, It was a complete game changer! I'm just sad I'm not able to use it more lol! but when I do its always so satisfyingly perfect
Please do a detailed flip through of the 3,5,10 year journals
there's not a whole lot to them lol. i have a couple of the 5-year ones and am currently doing the 10-year one. there's a few lines for each day, and it's a 2-page spread for each day for the 10 years, 5 years on each page. there's a page or two of lined pages at the end of each month, not sure what to use those for, and some lined pages at the end for yearly reflection. weirdest thing is that there are spaces for all 10 years for february 29th, even though it only comes around every 4 years. no idea why they did that
It’s true! Japanese stationery is extra satisfying. I think because so many of the products are very thoughtful and well engineered
The connecting stickers blew my mind. 🎉
I really like the page connectors.
There’s no such thing as too specific! I have so many problems and with daily tasks and this stationery helps (another excuse to buy more stationery)😅😂
hahaha, I used to cut my B5 note book in half, now you done this for me 🤣
the hole-reinforcer application tool!
I gasped out loud.
Wow this stuff is truly amazing
I find myself wanting all of these new products!!
Love this straightforward style of video ❤
Great stuff! My favourite is the hole patch.
Those connecting stickers would be great for sheet music!
I need that corner punch! 😮
我有一本10年日記本,這是我使用它的第四年。紀錄起來非常有意思,每天寫時還能回頭看同一時刻自己在做什麼,期待我能寫滿
The connecting stickers 😮❤ Well-done video!
I actually need the one patch stamp, that’s so useful
Love the index punch and connecting stickers.
I love this video and everything on it, God bless you and get rain in every place you live 🙏✝️🌨🕊🌧👱🏻💖🫂🐑🐕👸🏼✨️🌦
We have so much unnecessary stuff we can buy these days, and it almost never fits together well etc., so seeing this is really a breath of fresh air :)
This video is amazing. Your editing is amazing and now I want all these products, especially the half size notebooks. 📒
Beautifullll!
I have decided that pretty much all Japanese stationary is genius.
OMG. Where have these products been? So BRILLIANT!!! The notepad? And in another video the reinforcements! I’m going to have to buy these- whether I need them or not. Wow! (& great advertising too😉)
I'm already in the process of getting page-matching correction tapes and laptop-friendly notebooks. But the added functionalities of the Midori Patto Quick Open memo pads (2:14) make me want to grab a stash of that as well. A handy way to put an end to messily flipping through memo sheets!
Love Japanese stationery. They are so ingenious!
This is gorgeous, what a wonderful piece of gear ☺☺
Oh. Em. GEEEE!!! I've got to have this stuff! Thank you so much!
Brilliant! ❤❤
Genius, all of them 😍
I have the hole reinforcer and it is the best money I've ever spent.
Just when I think I have everything that I want from jetpens, I see another video and want add more to my stationery buying list ‼️😅
Ohhhhh💕💕💕💕 these are just lovely ❣️
I don’t know why I’m just seeing this today, but I’ve been using the Sun-Star corner punch all year to punch the outer bottom corners 😅of my monthly, weekly, and daily agendas. Makes it so easy to go right to the current page. ❤
Great more stuff to add to my cart😃
Wish this was available in Canada!
need that 10 year diary and a handy photo sticker printer.
These r amazing
I've been wanting the One Patch Hole Reinforcers in Pink (next order!), and now I want either the Kleid landscape notebook in cream
Thank you
I like these.
They are just too crazy & free
The corner punch and the half size notebooks.
I miss using stationery regularly! I've been on maternity leave for a couple months and haven't done a ton of writing. This makes me want to run into my home office and sort papers just because!
if I live in Japan, I would be stationaries hoarder 😆
Either the Japanese are very very meticulous or they have way too much free time. I think it is the former. Man, I love Japan! God, what an insight! Something as mundane and routine made so amazing. And the beauty of all this lies in it's simplicity. These are not very unique or hard to come by solutions but it shows that by simply paying a little more attention, such beauty and efficiency can be attained. Truly magnificent. 日本の友人たち、本当にありがとう!
I agree it’s likely the former - from the little I know about Japanese culture, it seems they value efficiency and innovation, at least in some ways.
I could see myself using all of these products.
I did not find the link to the blog showing which correction tape works on different papers. Can you please add a link? Thanks
Thats quality content
Quiero todooo!!!!
Laptop friendly notebook is my favorite !
Hey jetpens, can you make a video with creative ways to use dot stickers like the suatelier ones? I bought the non-translucent version so I can’t see through them and need ideas!
One first needs have a note taking habit to appreciate these lovely tools. Most people these don't 😢
I know this narrator... I love your akiya videos!
Hi Jetpens, please recommend a fountain friendly notebook - A5 and below which do not have stamp pin as a paper binder, because I hate rust! It's rusty on Traveler's Notebook paper as well as the A5 size classic red Rhodia notebook
It's a sin that such utilities aren't available outside of Japan or at least convenient to procure.
Yes. Consider my eye caught by.... everything shown...
I'll take one of each.
ONE PATCH HOLE REINFORCERS. .....🥵 i need a one
Now I need an horizontal notebook....
I know I'm broke when the first thought is the alternatives coz I need to stop myself from thinking about these products I cant afford (but love to know about and see)
You should try BİC Gelocity QuickDry pens they are gorgeous and shooth to write!!!!
Just about all of these look pretty useful, niche or not. With the disappearance of office supply stores, it can get a little harder to find punch hole reinforcements and other stuff.
I take notes by my computer all the time. So having a horizontal oriented pad would be very useful for me.
3:02 Rollbahn? 😂 it’s German for runway. Plus weird German phrases like “distant journeys make you wise.” Or “traveling is life”
The reflecting journals are quite interesting. I fortunately my journalling caused about 400 pages a year. Any suggestions?
Oh wow, you might want to try something like the Midori MD Codex or JetPens Kanso Noto instead: www.jetpens.com/Midori-MD-Notebook-Journal-A5-Codex-1-Day-1-Page-Dot-Grid/pd/29901

@@JetPens Thank you. Does the Midori notebook come with a hard cover option?
😭 where were these connecting stickers when I was in school 😭 and where was my brain I could’ve just done this 💀
3:02 rollbahn is german, not japanese 😅
Yes, a Japanese company named Delfonics named their notebooks after a German word!
kinda looks like a Lufthansa copy with the colors being the same. The typography and logo is so similar as well
Literally, how do I get a job with you?
How do I buy these from India ?
Half B5 Campus notebooks! Sign me up!!!!!!!!!!
Do you sell in India ?
Please someone show the lady how to hold a pen correctly
Oriental Pearl?
Patrick Bateman's voice "Oh my god, it also has a trash pocket"
I should never have watched this vid. WANT!
Well, there are nerds for everything else, so why would there not be stationery nerds?
I used to be really into stationary, until i can hardly find a use for them in recent years. Everything is digitized these days and its been years since i used my mechanical pencils.
Oh my goodness! I have wished for all of these products before. Whoever invented them is amazing!📒🖋
These engineering
