I upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro, but now miss my mini. The camera on the new phone is great, but everything else is really just ‘bigger’ and the screen is beautiful. But I think I’m going to continue to use my mini and return the iPhone 15 Pro (for now). If Apple were to make an iPhone mini Pro I would be first in line to buy it. Thanks for this great review.

I was so close to buying a Pro Max or even a Pro as my 12 mini battery was at 76% health. So I went to the Apple store just to see what the fuss was about. I honestly don't see the hype. My 12 Mini was opening apps and even browsing web faster than the 15's. The build quality for 15 feels cheaper. I couldn't even notice a difference in the display. Only the 120hz and even that wasn't a huge difference. In any case I took my 12 mini to get a new battery and its like new again. Not upgrading :)

I feel like upgrading to the 24 ultra will feel more like an actual upgrade since there's so much more that you can do with it. However, i just do not like the way photos taken by samsung phones look. If cameras aren't part of the decision making process, i'd go for the s24 ultra no doubt.

The closest thing I found online to an “iPhone mini Pro” is the iPhone 11 Pro with a 5.8 inch screen but that’s quite an old phone for 2024 standards. Still one more OS update but I went with the 13 mini for more support since I’ve read and heard many positives about it. Can confirm it’s the best iPhone ever
Watching this video on my green iPhone 13 mini and I’m gonna keep it another year. Sure the cameras are better on the 15 Pro, but the action button is way too high and so to use it conveniently you gotta use that thing with two hands or do the thing where you’re kinda in your hands decided the phone to get to it so I wonder about how often it’s gonna be used not to say it’s not a cool feature but the placement. would love to see some camera comparisons because honestly, I think the 13 mini still takes really good shots. It’s only when you maybe put them next to a newer phone that you think ohhh
You’re making a mistake lol. I got the 15 pro max and it’s the best iPhone I’ve ever had. I use Action button every day very convenient also the max version has a way bigger battery so great battery life. The photos on this thing are amazing. Definitely light weight with titanium, also I find my self using the dynamic island a lot too. It’s a fantastic phone
imo "productivity" machines needs to be powerful yet small enough to hold in one hand, for when you're outside busy and rushing around everywhere. apart from battery, the 13 mini done me great for productivity. i wish they had a pro mini lol
I switched to the mini a couple years back and almost haven't looked back... I'ts my first Iphone and I only bought it after handling one in the store. If the darn thing just had a 90hz or faster display I wouldn't be tempted by other devices. I just don't think I'll ever want a larger phone again.. this size is just perfect for people that don't live on their phone. I did buy a PIxel 8.. it's not huge and it's a pretty flawless Android phone but I was wanting my Iphone mini back in my pocket almost immediately.
Why not go for the regular pro instead of the max? It’s much closer to the mini in size and weight with the only compromises other than larger screen for gaming/streaming is worse telephoto lens and a little bit of battery

I love my Pro Max overall but I do wish they’d utilise the huge screen better like you say. Even if it was just more display scaling options like Android offers
Honestly didn't really hear any compelling reasons for the upgrade, didn't even talk about the camera benefits. If you're upgrading for those features, why not just go for the regular Pro and stay closer in size to the Mini?
I currently using 15 pro but I still keep my 13 mini. The battery health in the 13 mini drop to 75 % after 2 years which is pretty bad for battery degradation duration . You will struggle to last 5 -6 hours with that battery health . Changing the battery was the logical steps which I did recently.
@@UnravelingMysteriesX mine is out of warranty and either way it’s at 89%, they wont replace it under warranty unless it’s 80% or lower. Costs money to get it replaced otherwise.

15 pro max definitely sounds great and all but just don’t see it as enough to make me give up the portability and one hand use of my 13 mini. When and if they make better use of all that xtra screen and bring something like true multitasking and better use of that huge screen i’m sticking with my mini, watch ultra and MacBook air.

I would absolutely pick up a mini pro. Im thinking the same thing that I will have to upgrade at some point but there aren’t any new small phones even on the android side. My wife has the pro max and there certainly are things I like about it like the 120hz refresh, the better cameras and usb c but all of those could be put in a mini phone, but the one thing I can’t get over is how big it is and I just couldn’t comfortably use it with one hand which is a deal breaker for me.
I love the weight and size of my 12 mini. The large iphones are too heavy, they should offer a 6 inch with a plastic back like the old 5c which would reduce the weight. I would likely upgrade to a light slightly larger screen. The 12 mini camera vs the 15 line of cameras don't seem like enough of a difference.
Only thing that bothers me with mini is too small battery. I think that great idea for apple is to create iphone mini ultra. That is fatter and has bigger battery with pro cameras and pro screen and build
I’m going from 13 mini to pixel 8 pro. iOS on large phone is so user unfriendly when compared to android. I love my mini but iOS 17 completely destroyed my battery. Kinda done with apple. They should focus on their software instead of virtual signaling.
I’m surprised to hear iOS 17 destroyed your battery life. I found it made things better (even the betas). My recommendation is to observe over the next few weeks. It’s possible some apps are not yet updated to be fully compatible which could take more battery than usual. You might find it to be better soon. Either way, the Pixel 8 Pro is looking like it’ll be solid upgrade and I’ll be reviewing it on the channel in October!

I would buy a new 15 if they made the 15 mini. I don’t want a phablet. A lot of us don’t need to carry around a tablet on their pocket. Using the mini is just the best. Fits in my pocket and works when I need it too.

Yes, especially if you're one to buy accessories e.g cases, screen protectors etc... It's pretty hard to find them now. Also, it seems there is no trade in value for it too when you want to trade in for another model.

19 grams lighter in the outer frame. It makes a big difference because it effects the balance.
No, the max is 19 grams less totally. The titanium fram is 1 mm thick which is super thin. @@Tonyisgaming

I downgraded from Pro max to pro, cause battery is enough for me and everything else is just the same but atm if I didn't have any iphone I would absolutely get 13 mini.
It’s a huge downgrade in cameras but the form factor makes it a fair trade off.
@@VittorTech I believe it’s only downgrade zoom wise, pic quality is same.
