GREAT point about the 500's very existence being old school, so does an old school interior matter? I say no...obviously. Especially since the latest safety tech is nestled within. 😜 I am so glad you were able to get your hands on the IS500 again, I've watched your first video many times and have shared it with others. Thankfully this time around the roads were dry and you could really beat on the car. You are 100% correct, the IS500 is freaking amazing with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. I dumped the OEM Bridgestones at 7K miles to get them and the grip/performance is so dang good. Bought mine for MSRP at $62K in March 2022, just passed 31K miles last month, and I'm still in-love with this car. The final year (2025) has been leaked; Flare Yellow will be special color, a new BBS wheel pattern, and auto-folding mirrors. If anyone is interested in getting a new one, you'll have more bargaining power getting a new 2024 after the 2025 official notice has been released. Thanks for posting!!
@@timw2083 LOL! Flare Yellow is going to be awesome, but I'm never giving up Blu!

I enjoyed your comment about ECO mode, it feels like something is wrong with the trensmission . I never drive in that mode, I commute in Sport mode constantly. Weekends Sport +.
When the newer cars are a demented shadow of their former selves, the car that resembles itself when it was at the peak of its development isn't "aged".
Dont cry the IS500 is faster than a LC500 as the LC is an ultimate cruiser and great it its own right so be happy its a entry level product to get into the Lexus performance world. Its a great offering price wise! Its kinda a build your F car so to speak with just a engine base line and a great P/W/R.
Probably the best driving review I've seen of the IS 500, I think your genuine excitement and suprise adds so much to the video!
Thanks 👍

@@blu_is500jfc Lexus is great but they’ll do literally anything before making the IS500 more modern
