The way they keep changing Photoshop but never have added a "Stencil ability" has driven me crazy! To create complex shapes, (Say for airbrushing certain shapes like for a car or high-tech equipment with "reveals" (cut lines) you still have to mask, alpha, etc. He's far more advanced to be a tech programmer for Photoshop. John Knoll should hire him for advice.

@@floatingrabbit3556 You may be right. Haven't heard of them. My point is that most of these tutorial channels are about smart tricks that you probably won't use more than a few times if ever. Unmesh is pretty much dedicated to useful stuff and he certainly knows all the ins and outs of PS. Good tutorials should be about how and why PS works, and what you can do with it, not so much about step by step instructions of how to do your name in neon, fascinating as it may be lol.

Hello! that method of using brushes in combination with the mask is really a great method. So many different ways this can be applied. I saw a video of a nature photographer who wanted to blend a foreground and background image together -- the foreground had prairie grass at the horizon, but the edge he had created was also "hard". So he used a mask and a grass brush to bring back the grass line where the foreground and the background images came together. Really great!
