@@leedonehower3112 Great observation Lee. If you take a look at the Depth Map the Front knee and leg was closer to the camera. The Depth Map shows that area as black and if you notice that the model was Darker Gray but not black. When I used the Lens Blur Filter I set the Focal Distance for her eye and not that front leg. The Depth is generally very accurate and the fact that the leg is slightly out of focus is correct. If you wanted you could alter the Depth Map by painting on it or if you want that leg to come in focus just use a Layer mask and reveal the leg as in focus by painting black on the layer mask on the leg section...
@@thejoyofeditingwithdavekelly Dave, I'm having difficulty wrapping my head around the term Depth Map which implies to me that what's on the surface (nearest the camera) is what is always in focus. The steps to the left of her leg are in sharp focus whereas to the right, they're blurred. It seems I'm confused between Depth Map and Lens Blur.
That is weird Sam. I am on a Mac and I just checked to see if I have the latest version of Photoshop and I do 22.5.1 and I have the Neural Filters. Are you running MAC or PC?

I found it a little odd that it added blur to her lower right pant leg and foot which are nearest to the camera.

Thanks Dave. Unfortunately, Adobe has temporarily disabled this Neural Filter. Hopefully it will be back soon.
