There are many things I like about this band: 1- Really weird style, you can recognize them by the 1st note; 2- Even if sometimes they have really monotone beats that would probably sound like shit if decontextualized, they have an amazing ability to blend dynamics in the whole song: astonishing; 3- They complete everything with really emotional and taboo thematics, in which a lot of people recognize themselves in. 4- They keep playing and sounding like their first shows, IMO. I love them, I was I could see them once live, as from what I've seen, their live shows are amazing.
Saw them once on the PFH tour with King 810 and Slipknot, all 3 bands killed it but you could tell most were just waiting for knot, I thought Korn were insane though 👌🏻
I've seen them 4 times, from a small Hard Rock show (few thousand people) to arena style shows. They've only gotten better over time. Best they've sounded was at the show I heard them in Houston in 2019. It literally sounded like Jonathan Davis was lip syncing, he was so spot on. Brutal screams, clean vocals, it was all outstanding. As someone who sings for a side job, I was impressed and encouraged by the fact that after 20+ years you can keep your voice even singing metal.
Here I am, 4.6.24...just lost my Dad this last week and here I am listening to my Favorite band. Seen them live in 96, Salem Oregon, met the band and never looked back. Thank you Korn for helping me thru the years, especially my 15 years of sobriety 🥰👍🏾
Being a bass guitarist and musician I appreciate this version so much from any other version they've ever done. The fact that they can collectively come together and add so many elements to this song that wasn't there before but yet they pull it off and make it sound absolutely incredible. Fieldy is by far one of the greatest bass guitarists I've ever heard but the music that this band creates is very distinctive and you know it's them when you hear it absolutely incredible their music never gets old.
The best live band I've ever seen. I've seen tons.. Saw a show with them and Deftones and Joey Jordison was filling in on drums for Korn. Most epic show! Seriously a killer live band.
My brother and my cousin that seen them live and has said they were shit and that Disturbed completely destroyed them as the support act. but they do sound pretty good here in but it's studio.
KoRn needs to release an album full of remakes of their older songs. I've always wanted a studio version of this. The break down in it is fucking SICK.
No word of a lie I’ve never listened to a single Korn song and I’m not a metal guy as such but for some reason youtube played this automatically and my god I love this. Guess I’m now a fan so a little late to the party. Time to download more of korn and have a listen. After this I have papa roach 20/20 infest studio as well. Give them a listen.
These videos got suggested to me, started at Freak on a Leash; I've seen a fair few of Korns old to new live videos; they sound incredible here. But people have their opinions about Ray, some are positive and others are negative; but the guy is a beast and is tastefully filling in the gaps in these songs; he's not taking away from the music; just repetitive subtleties that aren't random that flow with the song; it's got me thinking of Mike Portnoy the way he uses repetitive patterns in a musical way; love this guy!
I love that you can hear this song prior to being recorded (Woodstock 99 set) the album version and then this version after they've been playing it for over 10 years.
Me and my friend used to blast this on a Walkman which had a speaker on the last bench, in school, lots of memories with this song. Davis sure got his vocal chords in good shape.
Jonathon's voice is dark and haunting... I can feel his soul inside it.... As an empath... or maybe its just my natural ability to relate... but it fits the style well.

1zv it’s not about how good he is it’s about how David makes the band sound Ray makes it to heavy with his Joey jordison fills this is korn not slipknot
Korn has the potential to be incredibly heavy. Their guitars are already there and he has the vocal capabilities. His singing flows well in Suicide Silence's "Witness The Addiction"

I've seen them at an arena show and they were great but the situation sucked. I wish I could have seen them at a smaller venue.
Saw them once on the PFH tour with King 810 and Slipknot, all 3 bands killed it but you could tell most were just waiting for knot, I thought Korn were insane though 👌🏻

I like korn not because of their songs. I like them because of their live performance
Ryan Jackson awake
This live performance is probably one of the best "hard as fuck" one I've seen. Now I understand why Korn still sells out at concert.
+Patrick Leonard Saw them in Orlando at Hard rock. It blew my fucking mind.
+Patrick Leonard Saw them in Orlando at Hard rock. It blew my fucking mind.
Been the best for over 25 years now, pretty insane!
The best version of Fallin Away from Me. Fieldy's Bass on this music...
revolutionary
he's mimicking human speech
Fieldy still the best bassist
That’s real bass mastery
Epic!!!!!!
I really miss his fuzz parts on the verses. It creates a great contrast with the other parts of the song.

2022 and this still slams!
@@Jasminka29 was about to say the same thing🤣🤘🏼
Miss these days.
I didn't think the dubstep album was too bad, but Korn 1994-2005 is the best.
I like Fieldy's update to the bass riff in this song.
and i dont why i really really love to hear all the bass lines from Korn!
@@81Bogz He's more of a percussionist dude😜😜
It was nice, but a little over the top and hokey in the middle. Doing to much.
@@81Bogz korn's bassline's are unice IMO
He awesome
One of the best studio live! They delivered at a rhythm to make you into the music and emotion given!
I have listened to this song a billion times and it still hits as good as the first moment. Friggin’ classic! 🤘🏻
The mix on these tracks is so astoundingly good- I wish this was the album
Jonathon's voice is so epic he sounds the same in everything he does.
The best live band I've ever seen. I've seen tons.. Saw a show with them and Deftones and Joey Jordison was filling in on drums for Korn. Most epic show! Seriously a killer live band.
AttilatheThrilla you need to see more bands.

You seen tons but its time to see Foo Fighters
Could not agree more
Cynamon Cynamonikus I saw them when I was 5

It's great live too😁
Beating me beating me down!
These guys sound great! I love Rays drumming and fieldy is a freaking beast on that thing!!!!!!
You mean BOEST
Awesome version. Can’t believe I’m just now seeing this
I love his voice. You know how bold you have to be to sound that different and still give it everything you've got? He's great. I love Korn lol.
2024!! Who all are listening?😊
🎉
Good morning
KoRn needs to release an album full of remakes of their older songs. I've always wanted a studio version of this. The break down in it is fucking SICK.
I want to have Jonathan's voice!!
Hafizuddin Ilyas you'll be surprised how easy is to imitate that voice even in guttural ranges
Me too!
Same here and I am a female lol
Wtf?! Why?
I want him
Always loved the little peculiarities that make their sound their sound. It’s something born out of them as a whole than any individual member.

TheCoatneyadkins because it’s raw and not overproduced. Much like their 1st two albums just raw
I just love the effortless cool JD shows
The sound quality is incredible! Such a shame the BBC doesn't do more stuff like this
Well, I have to admit I didn't think it would be this good. Damn.
Finally found this version. Gotta lova that heavyness and the growl!
JD was killing it softly. He could have had a beer between two growls. Amazing performer, amazing rearranging (slight but noticable)
2020 and still going strong

Amazing guys , thanks . Hi from New Zealand Auckland .
Hey I'm feeling tired
My time is gone today
You flirt with suicide
Sometimes that's ok
Hear what others say
I'm here standing hollow
Falling away from me
Falling away from me
Day is here fading
That's when I would say
I flirt with suicide
Sometimes kill the pain
I can always say
'It's gonna be better tomorrow'
Falling away from me
Falling away from me
Beating me down
Beating me beating me
Down, down
Into the ground
Screaming so sound
Beating me, beating me
Down, down
Into the ground
It's spinning round and round
(Falling away from me)
It's lost and can't be found
(Falling away from me)
It's spinning round and round
(Falling away from me)
So down
Beating me down
Beating me, beating me
Down, down
Into the ground
Screaming so sound
Beating me, beating me
Down, down
Into the ground
Pressing me, they won't go away
So I pray, go away
It's falling away from me
Fall
Beating me down
Beating me, beating me
Down, down
Into the ground
Screaming so sound
Beating me, beating me
Down, down
Into the ground
Beating me down
Beating me, beating me
Down, down
Into the ground
Screaming so sound
Beating me, beating me
Down, down, into the ground
