The library is also a great way to read books without spending any money! If you read two books within a month, you shouldn't have to worry about late fees. I love getting ebooks from the library for convenience.
Can you make a video about how you wrote a book? I have an intro to something I wrote for class and I kind of what to make it into a book 😳🙈 Also I’m currently reading Catcher and 😍 I’m hooked! Love it so much so far! It’s weird, I natural picture Carson as a brunette despite the cover art haha Only when blonde is mention do I picture blonde. And at some points, like when she went on her run at home in Vancity I pictured you haha
kalynnowens oops! sorry didn’t mean to thumbs down that! I’m used to Instagram with the reply button showing 🙈 I just read Chapter 10 tonight! I’m so hooked and loving it! I want to keep reading more every night but I don’t want to mess up my routine haha Not finished yet but I’m so ready for the second book!! ♥️🙌🏼
I added reading a chapter of two books to my morning routine because of your past videos and routine! It's done wonders for actually sticking to a reading routine! Love these suggestions❤️🙋🏼✌🏼
well thats funny because i had set myself the exact same goal, to read 24 books in 2019! i even finished my first one today and guess what it was - catcher!!! i absolutely loved it kalyn. it was inspiring and exciting and i couldn't put it away. i fell in love with carson and grey and the whole story, literally can't wait for part two. the best thing about it all was that it just sounded so much like you!
I’m soooo happy you’re FINALLLLYYY reading the program! I feel like I tell you this all the time but that book inspired me to read! I’m so into the whole series!
I also want to read some of them too. This year one of my New Years resolutions is to read 12 books, one a month. Want to start slow with it, though I don't read too much I really enjoy it. So thats one of my challenges for this year. Thank you for always inspiring us with new ideas to get to be our better selves Kalyn!
I love reading, so it's not something I normally put into my goals, but I'm not very good at reading non fiction. This year I want to change that, so I'm putting it on my 2019 goals to read at least 6 non fiction books. I'll be referencing your videos for book ideas!
My goal for this year is to read one book a month-at least until I finish grad school in May. I’m starting off with Wherever You Go, There You Are! You’ve talked about it so much I’m excited to read it!
WoW! I am so impressed that you have everything so organized, even the books you are going to read for the whole year!! I cant beleive It. I am not able to do It and stick to It. Congrats!
Actually went to B&N after work to get more books for my reading list today so perfect timing! Can't right away but I will definitely be checking these reads out this year! Thank you for all that you do!
Thank you for inspiring me to go through my bookshelves instead of spending all my money at Chapters! I've picked out a few books and i'm excited to read them! The Untethered Soul is a great book! Read it a few time and each time gave me a new perspective on what was going on in my life! Great read!
Hey Kalyn! I use ERASABLE markers in my planner and I LOVE it. The only ones I have been able to find are by Pilot Frixion and they come in about ten colors. I found them on Amazon. I think you should try them in your bullet journal !
can’t wait to try this out too! you’re such an inspiration for me and you’ve helped me overcome some of my darkest times. thank you so much for being a radiant soul 💜
The Lauren graham book is so good! I bought it when it'd came out and loved it. I might read it again this summer. Also, "Lessons" from Gisele Bunchenan is INCREDIBLE. so if you happen to squeeze that one in I really think you would like it.
Its so interesting to me that you plan your reading list like this because i = never set reading goals for myself actually. The way I like to choose my books and my 'schedule' of reading is just: read whatever I feel like is my vibe atm, and then after I finish that book, I decide from there what book feels right to read next. I usually have a mental list of the books I want to read, but the order that I prioritize them always changes. And I never tell myself that I want to read x amount of books in x amount of time. I just like to let it all flow. Sometimes it takes me two months to finish a book, and sometimes it takes me 5 days to finish a book...so.... yeah. i like it. although, the trend for my yearly reads is usually, dramatic and adventurous books are read in the fall and winter, and the more lighthearted contemporary books are read in the spring and summer.
I always get so happy when my phone tells me you uploaded a video 💕 I love how you can preset exactly which books you’re going to read, that never works for me 😂 although currently I’m reading “dear mr Darcy” and “the princess saves herself in this one”
I really enjoyes reading Love and Other Carnivous Plants from your recommendation so was excited to see what you plan to read this year. Disappointed by the lack of fiction books but I understand what you mean about consuming less. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you you much for focusing on becoming a more conscious consumer. I just know you will help inspire so many people and together we can all make a difference 💖 stay amazing ✨
You should upload a video at the end of every month about the both books you’ve read what they’re about, how much did you like them, so we can look more into wanting to read them How much they helped you or didn’t help you or understand things Everyone pls like so she sees this !!! Please
I've always been a bookworm but with college I've slacked on reading. Reading more this year is definitely my new years resolution and will be reading the majority of the books you mentioned during the same months you're going to read them. We can start like a book club. I'm currently reading "All The Light We Can Not See" by Anthony Doerr.
The untethered soul will change your life forever 😍👁 however it is very heavy so maybe you should schedule in a little bit more time for it. I was only able to read a few pages at once and had to think about them for a couple of days to make sure I comprehend everything.
I used to have a huge bookshelf full of my favorite books and as I moved over the years I ended up getting rid of it to save space-- but lately I have this huge desire to start reading again. I was so much happier when I did. Looks like I'm gonna be making a virtual trip to the Amazon bookstore soon. :)
I'm usually not interested in reading lists, but lately I have been! Could you make a video reviewing all the books you read in 2018 and which you liked and weren't a fan of (or even a blog post). Love you!
Another great way to save money and not buy new things is to take advantage of your local library! Many libraries now even offer options to borrow ebooks or audiobooks straight from your phone using apps like Overdrive (you may have to wait a while if the book is new or popular). Personally, I like holding a physical book so I like to actually check them out physically from the library, but I use the digital option all the time for audiobooks. Audible is also great for audiobooks if they are not available or have a long wait time at the library :).
pillow thoughts is such a great poetry book! can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it. (your reading list has inspired me to want to read more this year!)
Morgan Nuss I’ve also been reading it, but I kinda hate it....🙊 I feel like she’s a very privileged woman who doesn’t understand other people’s circumstances...I don’t know, I’m halfway through but don’t think I’m going to finish
My goal is to read this year right now I have Harry Potter and the philosophers stone on the go and I plan to read sacred powers soon. Your list sounds awesome
There’s a couple of different youtubers I follow that did like secret Santa or gift angel exchanges in December and had me thinking how cool would it be to do a koze crew book exchange! I did this Facebook book tree thing a couple years ago and it was super fun!!
I read Hyperfocus and it was truly amazing. I’d recommend it to set up your year for success. You don’t necessarily realize how fragmented your attention can get and the book gives a lot of tips and insights that are practical and can be used daily.
Yesss I’ve been so looking forward to this video! I just got wherever you go... and every time you posted pictures of your books I would always try to screenshot 😂😂 I Laos set a goal to read a chapter a day, at least two a month! 💓
I don't have a full reading list, but for the 1st two weeks January I'm reading, The Slight Edge. I highly recommend it if you want to throw it in with another month!
hey kalyn!! I love that you're trying to purchase less this year. In my country, there's plenty of local libraries so I tend to go there when I run out of books to read at home! Libraries are a great resource for books, magazines etc :)
that said I also have found a couple of gems in my dad's library so I'm slowly going through them and some of my old book purchases before I head to a library again!!
I read Foe recently because you mentioned it in a video and it’s really good! It messed with my brain a little, but also had a very calm feel to it. I hope you enjoy it too!
The Legend trilogy is one of my all time favourites!!! I would highly recommend reading it as soon as possible! You will definitely fall in love with June and Day 😁
At first I wasn't sure how the brown hair would suit you since I've only ever seen you with your blonde, and I don't know what it is about this specific video, but wow girly it looks amazing, and you look amazing!
I love your videos here on KOZE and on your main channel and because you inspire me I also plan on reading more this year as well! Maybe not 2 per month but at least 5 or 10 for the year is a start! Again love you and your videos!!! 💕😊💕😊
Whenever you post this weird happiness takes over me ♥️♥️
awh yay!!! ♥️
Oh my gosh kalyn you replied I am having trouble breathing....
Saaaame
You always look amazing but in this video you look SO happy and full of light! Keep up the good vibes!
✨✨✨
The library is also a great way to read books without spending any money! If you read two books within a month, you shouldn't have to worry about late fees. I love getting ebooks from the library for convenience.
I’ve reading more just because of your videos! Thanks
Can you make a video about how you wrote a book? I have an intro to something I wrote for class and I kind of what to make it into a book 😳🙈
Also I’m currently reading Catcher and 😍 I’m hooked! Love it so much so far!

Yes, Id love to see a video on how to write a book! Im trying to start writing myself.
Yessss I'd love to watch that video too.
i'm also halfway through catcher and loving it!
kalynnowens oops! sorry didn’t mean to thumbs down that! I’m used to Instagram with the reply button showing 🙈

I finished The Untethered Soul last month and it was completely life changing for me!!! You will love it.
well thats funny because i had set myself the exact same goal, to read 24 books in 2019! i even finished my first one today and guess what it was - catcher!!! i absolutely loved it kalyn. it was inspiring and exciting and i couldn't put it away. i fell in love with carson and grey and the whole story, literally can't wait for part two. the best thing about it all was that it just sounded so much like you!
Let's get our reading on girl 👍👍
I would definitely recommend the audiobook version of “talking as fast as I can”! Lauren graham narrates it, and it MAKES the book!
You are so freaking adorable I love you and all your content !!!
*Bullet Journals for the WIN! I'm a first year teacher and small TH-cam and bullet journaling helps SO much!*
Yaaaay just what I was waiting for 😍
Thank you for linking the books! I seriously appreciate your thoughtfulness for you’re viewers! Love you and you’re channels!
i actually got so excited when i saw it was a book video. THESE. ARE. MY. FAVORITE. VIDEOS. OF. YOURS. ILYSM.
Emily Fine are you subscribed to emmabooks? This is what she does on her channel! I think you’d really enjoy it :)
I’m soooo happy you’re FINALLLLYYY reading the program! I feel like I tell you this all the time but that book inspired me to read! I’m so into the whole series!
I love how intentional you are with your reading list!

Hannah Hilbrandt Great choice!
WoW! I am so impressed that you have everything so organized, even the books you are going to read for the whole year!! I cant beleive It. I am not able to do It and stick to It. Congrats!
Just the motivation I needed to read all my books I haven't read. You are inspiring 💜🌙
I love that you linked all of the books. Thank you so much! Definitely making a good reads account too
Actually went to B&N after work to get more books for my reading list today so perfect timing! Can't right away but I will definitely be checking these reads out this year! Thank you for all that you do!
I LOVE your hair dark. It looks STUNNING!
okay pillow thoughts is my favourite poetry book, absolutely beautiful I hope you love it, I’m currently reading the second one!
Thank you, Kalyn! This is very much needed right now. I’ve been struggling to find books for my own reading challenge.
You motivate me so much to go through my entire shelf looking for books I've been putting away for the past years. I love this one! Thanks
Thank you for inspiring me to go through my bookshelves instead of spending all my money at Chapters! I've picked out a few books and i'm excited to read them! The Untethered Soul is a great book! Read it a few time and each time gave me a new perspective on what was going on in my life! Great read!

can’t wait to try this out too! you’re such an inspiration for me and you’ve helped me overcome some of my darkest times. thank you so much for being a radiant soul 💜
Thank you for this reading books! Your videos bring me positive vibes. Have a great day ! 💜🌹

Thank you for always picking my mood up by doing videos and podcasts!♥️
Wait! the program is soooo good. I read it years ago and am actually reading the final book of the series right now. I think you’ll really like it!
Its so interesting to me that you plan your reading list like this because i = never set reading goals for myself actually. Omg yes! 😍 What a great idea to do a specific TBR list month by month. I also wanted to read the books I own before buying new ones 😇📖
Yessss I’m so excited! I wanna read some of these! Also The Program is SO GOODDDDD omfg!
I always get so happy when my phone tells me you uploaded a video 💕 I love how you can preset exactly which books you’re going to read, that never works for me 😂 although currently I’m reading “dear mr Darcy” and “the princess saves herself in this one”
This is such a simple yet brilliant idea!! Thanks Kalyn, going to go through my bookshelf and do the same :) xo
I have books I want to read this year already written out, but I'm mostly watching for extra ideas and to just listen to your voice
Always excited to see your yearly reading lists!
I really enjoyes reading Love and Other Carnivous Plants from your recommendation so was excited to see what you plan to read this year. Disappointed by the lack of fiction books but I understand what you mean about consuming less. Thank you for sharing.
Super proud of you for becoming a conscious consumer 🙌🏻
Thank you you much for focusing on becoming a more conscious consumer. I just know you will help inspire so many people and together we can all make a difference 💖 stay amazing ✨
I see the book Legend! Haven’t read that book in years but I fell in love with the world that was created and the dynamic between the characters!
You should upload a video at the end of every month about the both books you’ve read what they’re about, how much did you like them, so we can look more into wanting to read them
How much they helped you or didn’t help you or understand things
Everyone pls like so she sees this !!! Please
I’ve literally been waiting for this video so impatiently!! I want to start this year by reading a motivational book to set the mood for 2019 💫💖
The program is suchhhhhhh a good book! I think you’ll love it. 💛

Kalyn have you changed the mic? The audio in the talking part seemed to echo a lil making it difficult to focus on your words.
I bought Paris for One when you talked about it in your last good reads video and it is soooooo good! You will love it!!!
The untethered soul will change your life forever 😍👁 however it is very heavy so maybe you should schedule in a little bit more time for it. I was only able to read a few pages at once and had to think about them for a couple of days to make sure I comprehend everything.

There’s a couple of different youtubers I follow that did like secret Santa or gift angel exchanges in December and had me thinking how cool would it be to do a koze crew book exchange! I did this Facebook book tree thing a couple years ago and it was super fun!!
It's really easy to have a reading list for the whole year if you already have so many books you wanna actually read!😜 Hope you make it!✨

I would love to see some reviews of your favorites from these books! Love the recommendations💓💓

I finished You Do You just a week ago! It's a good one, especially if you've read Sarah's preceding books.
I love her to death!!!! 💕💕
I read Hyperfocus and it was truly amazing. I’d recommend it to set up your year for success. You don’t necessarily realize how fragmented your attention can get and the book gives a lot of tips and insights that are practical and can be used daily.

The untethered soul is literally the best book I have ever read! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts! ✨

Love this video, inspired me to make a list of all the books I have yet to read in my collection
I’m currently reading the program, it took a bit but the book is definitely growing on me ❤️
