    In this tutorial, we'll guide you through the fundamentals of the Niagara VFX system, delving into key concepts like particle systems, emitters, modules, and parameters. Our journey will begin with creating and customizing various visual effects, starting with simpler ones like sparks. In future videos, we'll progressively tackle more intricate simulations, such as fire, smoke, and even water.
    No prior experience with the Niagara VFX system or Unreal Engine is required to follow along with this tutorial. We will commence from square one, leading you through each step, and offering lucid explanations and hands-on examples throughout the process.

    I've been searching for a week for something like this! Even going through the unreal documentation, I didn't get this much depth and detail in bite sized chunks That's easily digestible, thank you so much for this, you can show somebody how to do something, but it takes a master teacher to teach. Furthermore Epic needs to hire you!!!

    A lot of this is much easier to understand thanks to my blender experience. Like the timeline editor is the same, keyframes seem similar, playback and all that. Viewport and node graphs, the Rcurves the same as in Blender same as the colorgraph except they're also just nodes. Some differences between how the modifiers and nodes work. But it's almost easier to understand than Blender is.

    So I was able to unblur the Particle by disabling float from curve in scale color under particle update then I raised the scale Alpha from 1 to 3+ I chose 9. But I no longer have the float from curve… I will continue with the tutorial and just hope my action don’t trickle down. This is really frustrating if anyone know please reply

    When I woke up this morning I didn’t even want to look at my pc just because of this part 36:15. I woke this morning didn’t even touch or look at my pc up until when I commented before expressing my frustration. I’ve watched this video over and over again it’s ridiculous. I just closed my PC I can’t even look at it right now and I won’t even bother looking at it until I can pass this one part 36:15. I’ve tried everything I think should do (which is nothing because I don’t know nothing) and it still doesn’t work. I tried to search for a tutorial that could fix my issue but there’s not one single video about it. Somebody help me out please

      If you pay close attention you see the "state" of the emitter is set to "infinite" - the default is "once" therefore you don't see it as the lifetime has already passed.

    So Particle Update is if you want a delay before the action? Like a bomb exploding after 3 seconds of the mesh being spawned?

    • @sarkamari
      @sarkamari  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The delay happens within the creation of the particles. Right? ;)
      If you wish to delay the particles you target the emitter spawn and/or sometimes particle spawn based on your given scenario

  • @mcdk4716
    @mcdk4716 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Ok I think… A BIG I THINK I found out what’s wrong with it. I think the problem is that the partial is not looping itself once it plays out once it dies out period doesn’t reply again and again… but that weird because I followed everything you did even when you gave the alternatives to certain choices I did it with you when u deleted I deleted it. Wrd to myself bruh I followed everything but I think for sure that’s what’s wrong with it… that it’s not looping itself both in game view and creator view. So how do I loop my seen. Do I go back to the Emitter Update / Loop behavior / then press infinite? Because you had Loop Behavior on Once unless during the cut seen it was changed. I’m going to try Ching the loop behavior and let you know if it fixed it. Seems logical to me but we’ll see lmao

  • @mcdk4716
    @mcdk4716 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Omg I’ve been restarting over and over agin because of this one part 36:15 when u press game view your partial shows up when I press game view nothing happens. I try to press play located up top in green but when I do that it actually puts me in game mode first person perspective. It’s annoying me. I’ve been stuck right at this moment for two days wtf anyone know why my particular doesn’t play out automatically like the tutorial? I would greatly appreciate it.

    Hey there! I have an odd question for you. Would you be okay with someone taking this tutorial and reteaching it in a condensed format? For free, mind you, I have no intention of monetization, I just would like to provide a quicker version of this tutorial for people who might have knowledge of other particle systems such as Houdini's or Blender's.
    You would be properly credited in the video of course as the originator of the information. I know that technically I probably wouldn't have to reveal my hand on this since this is a very basic particle setup, but I frequently watch your work and would be remiss if I were to take advantage of what you teach freely to others (something I'd like to do myself)!
    I appreciate this tutorial so much, thank you for your diligent work!
