@@idevilk Thanks. No I had questions about the settings for wheelie control and rear wheel slip. My son passed 08/16 on his 2015 s1000rr rear ended a drunk driver without lights on in middle of night on dark road. He use to race track day and we bought another 2016 model to rebuild his bike doing a heart transplant. He did a lot of work and tuning to his. I’m trying to learn the setting so I can control the wheelies. This bike stock wants to ride up on power wheelie and I want to contain it to max of 1.5-2’ off the ground at the track under hard acceleration. I use to ride and gave it up in 06. Had a 99 zx-750 Ninja and 06 Busa. This s1000 is fast asF so I want to control its lift off! I’m using his sprocket set and hp4’s on it too. I printed out another youtube channel’s chart for user modes and options but I don’t know what each + or - does to the bike without playing with them. I want to hear what -7 does all the way to +7.
I feel the front wheel on stock modes wanting to lift up but the ecu is doing its job! Keeps bike planted. Any links to this topic?
@@christophercharles2174 sorry to hear about the incident, hope he's on the mend. With regards to settings, here is what I do. I never try to lift mine in 1st gear, firstly because I am not comfortable with sudden lift and secondly, its too snappy. For settings, I flick between Race Mode and Slick Mode (which allows for settings to be modified). Race Mode > You can turn off DTC / ABS in this mode and still have antiwheelie in it to an extent. This means if you try to lift it and take it too far, it will try to cut power. Just test it gently before sending it full. Slick Mode > I normally use this however I have found when I am in Slick with DTC/ABS off and even with DTC at -3, it doesn't want to lift, it only starts to lift up after its -4 or -5 so work that out. Have a look at this thread however testing is the best way. I only do them in 2nd > www.s1000rrforum.com/threads/wheelie-control-settings.220001/

So the -7 ~ -1 is where the control is less. The +7 ~ +1 is greater control and on safer side?
Took me a while to get slick chip to be able to wheelie, its a torque monster if im being honest specially with stage 3

Would be keen to know the settings you're for wheelie control. Slick only? then towards the end, you had it on 1? was it only the DTC you were adjusting? i have the same bike and am learning the settings... you're help is appreciated

Love the Way you are explaining the wheelie assist, i just can’t figure it out In slick mode with the + and - . It just comes pretty High up In any level, so haven’t felt any difference. Maybe i am just a pussy and letting off the throttle myself before it shuts Down🧐?
