Low pressure isnt necessarily easier to control than high pressure though... If you're doing an outline or aura type thing, the high pressure can will actually give you a more consistent (width) line than the low pressure, even if your control isn't all there yet. Low pressure is easier for fine detail, yes, but it will also be less forgiving for toys with less stable hands. Too much control ends up being a con at one point, especially to those who don't know what it is exactly they're controlling.. just speaking from experience
Very very very true for sure
Yeah most def. I mainly use low pressure either montana golds or evolves but i didn't realize how much harder it was for me to learn outlines because i thought i was being a "pro" using cool cans lmao
"Too much control ends up being a con at one point". What do you mean by that, could you explain a bit closer please? :)
I’ve been using Montana blacks they’re great
@@Terra101 when you try to make a long line with a thin tip it shows any and all inaccuracies with your line whether it's a shakey line, the line getting thicker or thiner in sections or even where your lines connect.. With a larger cap you can't see every little detail that you may have messed up.. They tend to be much more forgiving..
it is all about practice... good explanation ✌️
Thanks man appreciate it
@@Theartistblock damn you got SMOE commenting on your vids Thats dope! SMOE is another great graf youtuber everyone should check him out!
Smoke Smoe
no. YES
I get it's "rare" to get respect from graffiti artists and I do understand that mentality. Same with being tattoo apprentice. You really have to earn that treatment. That being said. Graffiti can bring the tightest and most genuine friendships on all levels. Say you and some guys in a small town start seeing each others work and being as there aren't many artists. A lot of time you become family. Same goes with skating. Surfing. Music. You gotta suck and get ribbed by the ones that don't suck. This is done as a right of passage. To weed out the fakes. If you love it in your heart and soul you won't look at the shade as nothing more than something they ALL go through. Use that as the fuel for your rocket so hopefully you can tell some kid tthey suck to fuel theirs.
@@adamreid2650 SMOE isn't a graffiti artist. Hes a street artist. Huge difference. Still got respect.
My older friend gave me years ago a tip about can control when i was toy😁 to practice simple shapes like square, triangle and circle and try make them as best looking as possible. Also different sizes from tiny to medium , large etc. That was massive help. If you start graffiti try 100 squares etc you will learn a lot before trying to do piece. 🙌
Its nice to see these youngsters are getting up and graff wont just die off!
Aye man , just gotta say.
You're probably the most authentic dude on TH-cam when it comes to graff tutorials n what not.
Everyone else is either way too serious or trying to hard to be cool. You seem natural behind a camera.
Thanks for the great content man! Keel it going
Never met you, but went to Marshall same years with King) Robert B. I wrote SHAE OTR. I was more a tagger/bomber. I'm 52, started practicing again bout 10 years ago. I thought I needed the best paint. It didn't matter until I literally slowed down and took my time
Back in the day we didn't have the "magic cans"(low pressure)all we had was high pressure and we made that shit work!!

This was so usefull. I'm going to be doing my first mural soon, and the spray paint shop doesn't have samples on what the spay techniques look like. So this was great!
Very helpful, love the vid. Have been into graffiti art for awhile now and this has taught me a lot that I never gave thought to. Thank you man :)
Thank you so much! I was looking for this video in my language, but yours was more didactic. Hopefully i can understand english very well. Thank you again bro!
Solid!
Really helpful and proper easy to understand
Blesssss up
Fun fact: cans you buy in the stores, like Lowe's, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, etc., usually don't have good pressure which means they can't really "flare".
That was very, very helpful! Thank you! ❤
Can control what?
Spray can
A part 2 would be great!
i would love to see a pt2!! These tips help out tremendously
I'll get right to work on it. Might take a week or two to put together and edit

I missed this one.

Perfetc video now that i get into spraying weekly :D Thank you for the tips !!!
It’s a good day when you get a new vid from grim
Hahaha thanks for the support
Totally had no idea about putting your finger on the back of the cap. Super awesome man
Good advice, thanks!
I understand that people would like to learn about can control. But in my case it was great trying out a new cap or a new can for the first time and trying different caps on different cans . I still love the sound of a rattling can. When you always bomb and then you have all the time in the world it's easy to do a line . Just keep painting .
just the perfect tips i needed
I love the pictures in the background
Dude you're like..the best.
About time, really great video!
Glad ya liked it
Excellent video! 👏👏👏
Back in the days we only had word of mouth and graf mags to learn about this.

Good thorough teachings there :) Thanks
Can you do another q&a or a story video? I love the way you answer questions and tell stories with humor and sarcasm so much, btw love ur vids
I can see what I can put together
Thanks, this helped a lot. I'm going to paint my car and i've never done anything like that before.
how did it go ?
@@njackvanhollebeke786 Well, the bright pink and orange didn't cover too well but other than that, it's holding up pretty good. Put clear laquer on it, one component. Put it through the car wash even.
this was very helpful, ty
It was great I even joyed down some quick notes from the video
Keep it up man!! It’s great tips! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks a bunch man I appreciate it!
