I just started recently became interested in spray paint art! I found your channel and I am enjoying the lessons! I can't wait for it to warm up enough that I can start doing this outside! My husband won't let me do it in the garage... LOL! I will keep you posted!
I've just started expanding my painting techniques. I usually do abstract paintings and Dutch pours but I really enjoy spray painting and watching your videos has helped more than you think.
Could you advise if we need to spray anythjng when finished or does smell go away when dry? So excited to do this. I am doing a wall in my house and your ideas make it so exciting!
super helpful and informative. i just started spray painting a few weeks ago and i've been afraid to try another planet scene so i've just been making abstract stuff. but this makes me want to try a planet again.
Great Ideas!! Any-One? I dont use my sprays for longer intermittant time & Thusly after i do use them and obviously upside down spray clean nozzle, ... yet nozzles still get clogged , is there a solution to soak them in To Clean them without melting them? thanx
Quick question...do you use a certain type of tip to spray with? I feel like the tips I have on my can are all over the place and it's not consistent...some lines are thick and some are thin...sometimes theres junks of paint that shoots out and it's a mess...
I have seen ads on TV from Rustoleum spray paint where they advertise the wide pattern nozzle for more coverage when painting things like furniture and the like of large objects. Try staying away from those.
Dude thanks ! I just started doing these messing around and some of my friends want them. Haha I’m going to put your vid on repeat. I’m not a artist at all and have no skills like you but it’s pretty cool since I can make something like this without having a crazy artistic mind. I wish my mind thought like you guys.. but thanks for the tips ! I’m going to try them out
U r superrrrrrrrrb... I made one in black n white.. Ur vedios are so helpful n easy to understand n make.. Thanks.. All this time waited go n learn /learn from expert .. Bt due to covid cdnt.. Ur tutorials are of much help.. Hats off.. U hv shown easiest method.. Thank you so much..
You are AMAZING, Wonderful, So so great!!! Thank you for these tutorials. I’m over 60 was really needing some inspiration for living ..I so happy I found you and tutorials. OMG THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I wish o knew how to slow the videos down a little bit so I could follow closer;) but thank you!! So enjoyed!!! So much!
I’ve been watching these kinds of videos for years and always wanted to try it. But I was always scared to spend the money on something I won’t follow through with. But I recently found some cans that I can use to try it out.
To be honest with you, with the upmost respect these videos are great. But to be fair you are an expert with your craft and have mastered these techniques overs years of study and practise. You make this all look very easy, which I think for a novice like myself it will be very hard lol. No offence intended, but more of a compliment. Great work..
Dude im inspired. I was getting a bit board with my creativity so I was just watching random vids, and stumbled upon this. It's 4am, .and I'm about to get my painting on lolz... thanks. I'll be checking more out.
Sorry if this is a novice question but I only started recently and with shutdown at the moment it's hard to go to store for advice. Is the clear coat stuff you use the same that's sold to seal paintwork as a top coat? When looking online that's what I always find, and seemed like it'd be the opposite of what I'm looking for. Am I just stupid?
I see this video is 4 years old lol, but I'm just getting into spray paint art, starting with and probably staying with the galaxy. I have watched a million helpful, informative videos including this one. Thank you for the different ideas than I've seen in the other videos. All are helpful and insightful. This video is just different than a lot of others I have watched. Great tips! 😊
I just started playing with spray painting as part of other projects. This is really helpful, thanks. Do the quick colour cans actually spray at a lesser intensity than normal cans, or is that all control?
Absolutely great video. You add the clear coat before etching in the light sources to the mountains. Q: How long can the paint be allowed to dry before the clear coat is ineffective?
I haven't watched ALL you videos just most haha but I do have one question. What side of the poster board are you spraying? Shiny or Matte? I'm curious because I'm looking to spray paint a canvas but I don't think the paint will stay wet enough. I'm primarily acrylic paint but I have a piece in my head and I think spray paint is my path to the look I want. Thanks for all the great info.
Dude I’m new to all this and you seriously have made me feel confident in doing things like this . Seriously appreciate it. Only question, what is it that you add to get it wet again? Clear coat? Like b4 you use plastic bag and stuff to scrap or remove the upper layer. Thanks
What should you do if it’s winter and you live in Alaska in an apartment, I tried doing it yesterday but after a bit the cans got cold and started shooting paint instead of spraying
Brother you're palm trees are still beautiful enough though you say you're bad at them, I'm broke atm but this makes me wanna buy more paint and continue practicing
Ive got to ask where do you get your paint from as it seems to be so expensive just for a single can of paint at the shop, obviously paint doesnt last that long too so when your first starting off its would be so expensive just going to a normal shop
I can't believe this guy made a minor mistake on his sunset painting by ingeniously improvising more detail over the mistake. I like the way he thinks.
My problem with canvas was it would bounce too much while using this technique. I solved it by placing plywood behind the frame the equal size and thickness of the inside of the frame. Also I use a coat of jesso to smooth out the surface of the canvas.
This was so helpful. I love how you incorporated all the techniques in multiple paintings and broke down why you were doing what you did.
I HAVE NEVER FOUND A MORE EASY HELPFUL ARTIST. I AM DISABLED MENTALLY AND I FOLLOWED ALONG PERFECTLY. I AM SO GRATEFUL TO YOU SIR......
I just started recently became interested in spray paint art! I found your channel and I am enjoying the lessons! I can't wait for it to warm up enough that I can start doing this outside! My husband won't let me do it in the garage... LOL! I will keep you posted!

I've just started spray paint planets and galaxies in the last 6 months. Thank you for these tips. I can't wait to try them out!!
Finally a Chanel that has some great pointers and some very easy techniques!‼️🙌🙌🙌🙌
Do you need to spray anythi g on when finished or does smell go away
when dry?
Love the easy to follow instructions. I feel like an artist❤
Could you advise if we need to spray anythjng when finished or does smell go away when dry?
So excited to do this. I am doing a wall in my house and your ideas make it so exciting!
i’m amazed at how many details u could add on just a white and black paint!!
Just made a copy of the mountain and moon peice couldnt be happier with how it turned out thanks for the tips u are really inspiring
super helpful and informative. i just started spray painting a few weeks ago and i've been afraid to try another planet scene so i've just been making abstract stuff. but this makes me want to try a planet again.

Awesome SpongeBob pencil lol. And great video!
you're like the Bob Ross of spray paints, thanks for making this so simple to understand I can't wait to try some of these out!
I was literally about to say the same thing!
Is it possible to make planets and textures using just the spray with no objects? Thanks for the video - very cool moon!
As someone that had a stroke and I'm trying to do this, you have some great help. Thank you
Amazing art. Details I wouldn't have expected from spray paint. I'm inspired!
Quick question...do you use a certain type of tip to spray with? I feel like the tips I have on my can are all over the place and it's not consistent...some lines are thick and some are thin...sometimes theres junks of paint that shoots out and it's a mess...
I think it depends on the can of paint itself. Like rust oleum white gloss and the rust oleum gloss quick coat might spray different
I have seen ads on TV from Rustoleum spray paint where they advertise the wide pattern nozzle for more coverage when painting things like furniture and the like of large objects. Try staying away from those.
H Max
I really like to use those wide ones. Especially for northern lights and shading
This dude is cool, informative, educational, and talented! Word up, keep it up. I thoroughly enjoyed the video! Namaste my Amigo!!
Please continue with your tutorials. The tutorials have been an encouragement to me to try something new, after being in an artistic slump.
Thanks Deborah, life has taken me in another direction currently but I’d love to get back painting someday

Sounds like you’re having fun! Thanks for watching
This is exactly what I need for a painting I'm going to do of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album art on a starry sky with a moon. Thanks!
Are you on Instagram? Id love to see it!
The sponges and foam you use, won't the spray paint eat through them? Making certain before I finish this piece I have, that uses foam as a base.

I can’t tell you how cool this is but the amazing part is. Your such a great teacher that I can do it too!
I have watched this several times and I finally get the waterfall. I can’t wait to try most of these especially that gorgeous tree!
This is great! I’ve been wanting to do this for some time and can’t wait to give it a try! Thank you for all of the great tips!!

This was amazing and super helpful. Im actually trying these techniques on wood with airbrushing unicorn spit. thanks for the vid!
Would you recommend this spray point for cardboard?
Wow...this was a great video. Learnt so much. Thank you!
I just started playing with spray painting as part of other projects. This is really helpful, thanks.
Do the quick colour cans actually spray at a lesser intensity than normal cans, or is that all control?
Very good tips! Can’t wait for your next reddit art review. I submitted 2 paintings on there myself.
Excited to take a look! Thanks for watching
Absolutely great video. You add the clear coat before etching in the light sources to the mountains.
Q: How long can the paint be allowed to dry before the clear coat is ineffective?
I just let my paint dry before putting the round object on top and I prevent those rings. Works
Yep!
I’ve been really interested in this art style and I’m SO happy to have found your channel! Keep up the great work!
That's the most informative video I have seen yet. Thank you so much and please keep them coming .
Appreciate the kind words Spencer!
Dude, I just found your channel, bloody amazing, thanks for all your tips man it's just what I needed to see. Cheers
Wow thanks for the tips great and easy to follow cannot wait to get started 👍👍
Would these methods work on a material roller blind? Thank you
This is the best spray paint art tutorial!

Shiny!
Man great video I’ll start spray painting this year super helpful
You let some dry and some added while wet correct?
You make it look so easy!
PLEAASE let the paint dry before putting your domes on the planets. you don't have to correct those little outlines if they arent there..
I love your profile pic 😅
That was very helpful thank you❤❤
I know!
You are the Bob Ross of spray paint!
What size paper do you normally use? I found some 11x14 sheets and wasn't sure if they would be too small
Thank you very much for your advice, these little tricks to make better drawings are very useful.
Happy new year from Spain!
You’re welcome! Have fun painting, thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 🤘
Also, thank you for the transcript. It is important for my family. Your the best!

Yep! I know this was a year ago and u probably know that by now
What should you do if it’s winter and you live in Alaska in an apartment, I tried doing it yesterday but after a bit the cans got cold and started shooting paint instead of spraying
Michael Wiles thank you will have to get one
Yooooo I live in Alaska to I just paint in my garage with the door cracked and I wear a respirator
Riley Moma ya that’s sounds great but that’s why I had to point out in an apartment all I have is a yard and a porch..
Be careful in your choice of space heater. Over spray can catch fire as well. Been there. Not fun.
Make sure to have some sort of ventilation is key.
Spencer Wasem thank you for that advice I would’ve never thought of that and found that out the hard way 😅
DUDE I SERIOUSLY NEED TO SAY AGAIN YOU ARE AWESOME. IM TRYING TO PUT TOGETHER AN ART SHOW FOR VETERANS. GOT ANY ADVICE
excellent tutorial, I'm so glad I found this-very inspiring!
Omg, I love it! It's really a class!!
Really informative video and this would help any beginner with creating an original piece!! thanks buddy
My pleasure, thanks for watching
What kind of paper do you use?
Thanks I just ordered a set of Montana cans and some paper so I want to try to start painting and this helped thanks a lot
Great tips and advice but I live in Australia so I cannot get posterboards and the spray paints that you use. Any advice on products?
You can’t get poster boards in Australia? Never would’ve thought...
Jeeeeeezzz thank u so much for sharing this it was worth watching 🇨🇦
Brother you're palm trees are still beautiful enough though you say you're bad at them, I'm broke atm but this makes me wanna buy more paint and continue practicing
Man I've been trying to learn the black birds I've seen some artists do lol nice video
Awesome of you to put your talents out for us. Can you do flames?

this vid rules,as ive mentioned b4,im just starting.thanks dude you rule

That's what we call a happy little accident
I can’t find the rustoleum quick color on Amazon 😢
Thank you for the video! This is really great 😀
Where do you buy the spray paint?
Can u use sharpie over spray paint?
Has anyone mentioned you look and sound a bit like Chris Hemsworth (aka Thor)? Thanks for these videos. Very helpful but also beautiful works of art.
Man, the tree is awesome!
What side of the poster board do you use?
Great video...thank you for sharing
Thanks for following along and taking the time to comment
my issue is i find my paint keeps drying really fast an di use clear cvoat but it doesnt seem to work. any advice?
Easy understanding, great art but too few subs for such a talented man. Thank you for the video.
Is rustoleum paint required
How well do these techniques translate to a wall?
So badass!!!! I'll try but doubt I'll ever be able to nail these.
You might just surprise yourself!
Can this work on painting canvases?
You are so talented!!
Ik im a year late but can u recommend a few spray paint brands for outer space pieces?
any tips for ppl who work on canvas instead?
My problem with canvas was it would bounce too much while using this technique. I solved it by placing plywood behind the frame the equal size and thickness of the inside of the frame.
Also I use a coat of jesso to smooth out the surface of the canvas.
Using a fan brush for palm trees works the best for me.
Quick question. Have you ever tried using a fine tooth comb or a toothbrush for textures?
I have not. Used a toothbrush for star though
@@Aerosotle I use a toothbrush for grass and some trees and It works ok. But haven't tried a comb yet.
Thanks. Looking forward to your next video.
Interesting. Like the idea for grass! What you wanna see in the next vid?
very helpful
thank you!
Great tutorial Thanks
Great tutorial, Thank you.
Thanks Don
amazing work, new follower here and I cant wait to see what's next. l'll stay connected.
Great job very good tutorial. Love watching your channel.
Thanks Jeff
So a total of how many spray paint bottles?
I can’t understand how a clear coat reactivates the dried paint, is it literally that, just wakes it up again? X
I’m totally trying that nebula one
Enjoy!
