Hi Richard, this collaboration video with Det is absolutely fabulous and I really would like to see more of these project based collaboration videos. You work very well together and the chosen topic is one that we all need to be more familiar with. I've certainly learnt some stuff today and I'm sure I will not the only one. Well done guys! 👍👍😁😁

Call me old school, but I need a schematic. What is it about Pcbway that the circuit diagram is considered nonessential?

I use a purple decoy, it's been great. If you turn the PCB around, there should be a little table printed there telling you the combinations of DIP switches for each voltage

Wouldn't the output transistors need emiter resistors to stay balanced?

I made a video about the USB load and described how it works in the previous video
      th-cam.com/video/yj7mzheMoFQ/w-d-xo.html
When we build the daughter board for the metering (volts/amps/watts) the hardware will be described and tested here on a follow up and Det will make a video and simultaneously publish in his channel explaining the source code for those who want to learn about it in depth

Is the USB-C power delivery compatible with USB4?
9:38 - Thanks for answering my question, Sir! I could have waited for the expert to step in before asking the question. Thanks for the clarification. 9:41 - Either you're missing a third finger, or you didn't show it when you said three.

I added the original project's PCB to my account at PCBWay but could not determine what the shipping cost is. It seems one has to wait for some sort of review even to find out what the total cost of an order would be. It took more than 15 mins to get this review done. Even with the cheapest shipping which would be 15-30 days the total is $20 Canadian for 5 of these boards.

I have a Samsung fast charger. 1 side says " adaptive fast charging and the other says... travel adapter, model: EP-TA200
    Input:100-240v~50-60 Hz0.5A
    Output:9.0-...1.67 A or
5v-...2A. Would this be one of those "tricky supplies"?
