TH-cam algorithm got to love how to send you to video you have seen before. I have seen this video when it was new I Owen the original fastback 48-22-1901 all metal no blade storage I did own the lightweight compact fastback 48-22-1500 grew feet 😅
Again a really good review 👍.But I am not a big fan of Milwaukee knifes even though they make exceptional ones I prefer the ones with the slider like the DeWalt but this channel has a really nice and honest review I really like this thank you mate
I too like the old standard sliding Stanley or Lutz those are bulletproof I I only use my fastback when I can not use two hands for the most part I'm always using my tried-and-true
You’d think Milwaukee would get rid or update this Fastback feature. Either you can Press & Flip or you can’t. What a stupid feature if it doesn’t work. For any type of knife I should be able to release & close the blade with ease or with relative ease.
Man I don't know what you bought but must have been defective because every single one of my Milwaukee razor knives razor knife go in so smooth only knives that doesn't really is the hook knife
It is if you need the utility blade to be sharp though. If sharpness doesn't really matter then it's okay. It probably should have been designed better so that the blade holder stops the blade travel rather than the edge of the blade hitting the body. I put some foam weatherstripping in the middle recess near the pivot to limit the travel. Only problem with doing that is that it no longer makes that nice satisfying 'click!' when you whip it closed because now the blade doesn't strike the bottom, but is now muted 🤫 Oh well

Thanks Thimmaiah! Yeah Milwaukee is very different from Stanley/Dewalt. Nice to have options though. Both offer different things.

It's not a gut hook it is a seatbelt cutter.
The blade touches the inner part when it goes open to close and makes the blade dull
Since it’s a utility knife it shouldn’t be a big deal

Why didn’t you go over the features listed on the back, even after saying you would?

Gals need not apply
We like gals, just can't say everyone's preferred salutation, otherwise my videos would be double the time. Thanks winger!
