Wow I'm just baffled. I've owned the 1505 for about 2 years now, not my most common carry but I always thought "Man this would be perfect if it could carry an extra blade" well today I learned I've been blind. Thank you great presentation as always!

100% the 6-in-1... I shrugged this off when I first heard of it but I now think it brilliant as I reach for it more often than most of my other multitools.

Currently working in a warehouse and I carry the 1501. It’s been my work EDC for 4 months now, being able to cut strapping and string without opening the knife up is super handy. As soon as the blade gets any packing tape residue on it the play pretty much stops. Excellent content as always my friend, thanks for sharing.

I can tell by the texture of your hands you have the experience to provide the following review. Thank You. I own the 1505 version and love it.

Awesome video! I didn't know my screwdriver fastback had an extra blade storage. 10/10 video. Significantly improved my life!

Another great review. Agree that you can't go wrong with any of them. I have the 00, 02 and 05. Definitely love the functionality 02 & 05. But when running around the house where everything I may need is minutes away, I appreciate the compactness of the 00

I bought a pack at Home Depot that included the 1500 and 1502. Both are fantastic but I really love the extra blade storage of the 1502.

Thanks for breaking this down for us! I started using a a Fastback as a professional Photography Assistant in my 20's. I'd often need to cut up foam core, usually against concrete floors. I've ended up collecting the 1500, 1501, and 1502 over the years.I keep one in the kitchen, one by the front door, and another in my office, now mostly for Amazon boxes and packaging. Feels like I need to pick up a 1505 to round out the collection!

The 1505 is the one I reach for all the time. Just nice to have a #2 square in my pocket.

I watched your videos and Zach in the wild. I had been carrying a rather thick dewalt utility knife. After the information the I got from the videos I went to Ace Hardware and picked up a 1505. I look forward to having it in my work edc along with my Leatherman Super Tool 300( want to upgrade to the surge) and Buck 110. Thanks for your time and sharing your knowledge and experience with us.

Glad to hear you're adding to your EDC. I've had the 1505 for a while and it's a solid workhorse.

14:40 Here’s to good friends, tonight is kinda special. 🎶
Seriously though, great detailed review as always. If I think I might need to do more than my SAK can handle while I’m out and about, I grab the 6-in-1. And sometimes I just take it anyway. 😎

The 1505 has a pretty big flaw if you work in dusty/dirty/rocky areas or with areas of rough movement. The screwdriver bit will sometimes come loose while closed and wedge the screwdriver in the closed position. depending on the bit that's in use, and its position, you'll have to grab a pair of needle nose pliers and start trying to wiggle it back in place. This is a problem because the clearance for the bit upon opening is extremely close. I suggest filing down a bit of the plastic to add more clearance. It helps. Also triple checking that no debris is between the driver and the bit helps as well.

I really like my 6-in-1. Handy tool.
If you ever get around to it, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the Milwaukee folder and fixed blade knives. They make at least one with a locking screwdriver.
    Great review!

I’ve carried the 1502 for years and just bought the 6 in 1. I do like the feel and more narrow profile in my hand of the 1502 vs the 6 in 1 but it may just be because I’ve been carrying it so long and that is what I’m used to. I also noticed that the flipping action of the 6 in 1 is not as free as my old 1502. Maybe because it is new and will become more free over time and use. Regardless, this line of utility blades are the best I’ve ever used.

i have the 1502 and im never looking back.
already have an all in one, portable screw driver set and i want to cut stuff. not multitask for a couple days and have to drive back to home depot to pick up more blades. its simple and does what i want. to cut a lot, safely and easily.

    Nice overview...thanks...
The 1502 carries 5 extra blades, not 3.
I keep a 1500 in my kitchen drawer, and a 1502 in my tool bag. They are my favorite utility knives, and they are relatively cheap and easy to source.

Does anyone ever use the lanyard hole? Bottle opener…seldom used. Most bottles with this off caps . Maybe a pry blade in there as an option. Great tool anyway. Yes, as someone mentioned, multitools are large, awkward, blade often not large, and has tools that are seldom used. Best to have in the toolbox, car console, and not carried. Good Milwaukee videos.

Milwaukee needs to add a seatbelt cutter and window breaker for this to be a true all in one carry knife. Also come in different colors like black/gray.

On the blade release: I found that the slot attracts and fills up with pocket lint and dust and it makes repacing the nlade very difficulut, especially in colder weather.

1501 is a good beater. I like the aluminium handle instead of plastic. The length and size seems better than the 1505. The 1500 and 1505 seem short and stubby.

If they open with a button, can’t they open accidentally in your pocket?

    • @admiralsnackbar2811
      @admiralsnackbar2811 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

I've been carrying mine daily for a month and a half, and I've never had that problem.
The knife is oriented "butt" down when using the pocket clip so gravity can not open your blade should the button get pressed.
Also, the button is oriented against your thigh when using the pocket clip.
I'm giving myself a bruise right now pressing the body of the knife against my thigh and the button will not depress.
So unless you have body builder thigh muscles and your fastback somehow defies gravity it will not open in your pocket if you use the pocket clip.

Just a add on would be a penlight AAA or AA or rechargeable olight or streamlight stylus pro AAA 8 hrs of burn time. And some extra bits for your 6-1 . I have had mine since they have came out and carry everyday. Well used and still love it .
