Great video, Milwaukee updated the screwdriver portion. They removed the spring retention to hold the bit and replaced it with a retention ball bearing. Great upgrade. Do have links for the 90 degree attachment?
I know there's a right angle and an offset as well. Expensive, but when you need it, you need it. Great Lakes Power Tool had both if I recall. I haven't seen them elsewhere.
I agree it's a very useful combo . I bought mine 6 months after it came out so over 3 years carrying the same one. And same flip bit. I worked in machine shop as maintenance machinist. Maintenance I was carrying it and small bit tin with metric Allen and torx and standard Allen's . 1,2,3 Philips head and flat and cobra xs pliers . I could go to any machine and take panels or change some and carryed a small Craftsman 1/4 bit ratchet as well. I don't do a day without my Milwaukee fastback 6-1. Like you in three years my daughter s birthdays Christmas and other events I always have blade and screw diver it will work on Philips 1 . For toys .
I found a replacement bit online, but yes, a selection of double sided bits would be very nice. There may be something out there that will be a substitute. Research... must... Research...
I have to admit, I was impressed at how easy the blades loaded in and locked in. And I like the release on the side rather than having to use two hands to close it like most. Sometimes I'm holding something, want to cut, and the close it back up and put it away with one hand without letting go of what I'm working with other hand. I have to give a big thanks to the dude who got me these.
I noticed the features on the fastback have little icons etched into it. There's a blade for the storage, a bottle for the bottle opener but what is the head with glasses icon ??
I saw a video recently where someone stated that it's on a lot of newer tools, and it's supposed to be a warning to use safety glasses with this product. A sort of "Coffee may be hot" warning. I call them liability icons.
Taiwan mainly, but some tools are made in the USA with global components. They're slowly releasing hand tools made in the USA, and moving manufacturing back to the USA a little at a time.
@@EricFarmer01 Milwaukee just came out with some USA made hand tools. They are labeled prominently as USA made, and they are so proud of them that you can tell by the price.

That's great! What a great job! If you have a recommendation on a way to carry tools without a giant tool belt, please advise.
@@JoeTheDIY- Occidental makes a tool vest that many fork lift operators prefer over a tool belt.

I wish it used more readily available bits like the Klein double-sided bits or their 11-in-1 bits if they are available.

@@JoeTheDIY Some said the Wiha bits work but they don't fit right. The retention ring doesn't line up with the grove on the old design.
