Great info, thank you. Question: Similar to yours, I have a 2001 Yukon XL. When I find a Denali or Escalade cluster, do I have to do any wiring for the transmission gauge? thanks Tom
It really is. Having the 4L60 and driving up mountain roads with a bunch of camping gear, I definitely prefer knowing where my transmission temps are sitting!
The guy that did mine is Randy with Tachtronics. He’s in California. If you open the description section, the link for his website is at the very bottom.
What would I need to do a 2000 chevy silverado 1500. I've been looking at doing this for awhile, just can't find any good specs on exactly what I need.
No it will not. There were two cluster styles for GMT800’s. 1999-2002 used a cluster that that had a top connection, and then 2003-2006 used a cluster that had a rear connection. You will need a cluster from a 1999-2002 GMT800 for your 01 Tahoe. The only Escalade cluster that will work for you is a 2002.

Nope. Biggest thing for you is to stay within your electrics years (99-02).
thanks I'm headed to the JY's in Jacksonville tomorrow.
I have ext. The trans Guage is great for trailering. I had to just resolder the prndl resistors aka quick rebuild.

can u show your gauge cluster while your driving it or keep the lights on a little longer
Can you provide information on the company you referred to that did the rebuild? I’m not able to find in a search.

Which one would i need to do an 08 Silverado 1500?
2007 - 2013
Can I do this mod to my 04 Silverado 1500?
Yes you can. Just be sure to get the cluster from a 2003-2006.

You need a 99-02 cluster. If you want it rebuilt, I highly recommend Randy at TachTronics in California.
How do you know that 03-06 won't work on 99-02 trucks? A buddy of mine has an 04 cluster in his 99...
@@CharmleysChopShop you have to change the pins around
bro $40 for a escalade cluster ?? want more money ? find me more of those and i’ll pay you $130 plus shipping cost
I paid $40 at the junkyard. I don't have any Escalade clusters on hand, but I do have a Denali cluster that includes the temp gauge on hand.
Will that gauge cluster work in a 01 tahoe

Can I put one on a 2000 gmc single cab
Yes, just make sure the cluster you get is from the 99-02 year range. The 03-06 range has a different pin layout than your 2000.
