I ordered my gauge cluster from Digital Dash Solutions as well! Great People! Should be here this week. I liked your video, but, i do wish you would have showed people the way the connections come off the back of the cluster, i know several people who have broken them because they didnt know how to remove them. Otherwise, top notch video :)
The pinning is different forsure I’ve read it’s just a matter of repinning the connector…..Im also stuck at a question on what is the procedure to make it work
The tranny temp gauge takes a long time to register on cold days, even at highway speeds. Mine usually reads between 140* and 170* F on 80* days. They usually say the trans temp should read about 100* F over ambient temps.. I put the denali cluster in mine, but used my factory black overlay so it looks totally stock.
Do you know if you can swap the mirrors on a 05 Silverado LS for the mirrors of the 05 Silverado LTZ (with the turn signals in the mirror) and the signals actually work on the LS?
If it's the same user most likely. I would contact the gauge cluster company on that because the big block is very different than the LS based motors. I don't see it being an issue but I don't know 100% Really cool truck, 8.1L in a Yukon XL! Does it have exhaust on it?

@@jewllake I actually like the simplicity of no steering wheel controls on the daily and I'm not sure what it would take to make it all work since the truck never had it. I actually prefer the look of the wheel in the 1999-2002 trucks.
It'll work. The Escalade cluster will not work with an 8.1L gas or Duramax diesel. They will note in the description what vehicles it will work for if you get it from the same place I did.
I'd like to see an update on this in about a year or so.. I got a Escalade style one for my 01 Tahoe from these guys and it crapped out on me just after the warranty.. Luckily I never sent the old one in.. The bad thing is now that my mileage is wrong..
My friend has a 2000 silverado and he wants the newer gauge that goes to 120mph is it possible to swap I'm also mecp certified but his has that screen in upper left corner
You'd have to contact the company in the video, but to the best of my knowledge the gauges are not interchangeable. The computer systems are very different. The plug might be different as well.
Can you do a video on the trans cooler you run on the truck and how you set it up? I’m thinking of running another trans cooler on my truck after the trans rebuild is finished
We bypassed the lines that run into the radiator and just run into the aftermarket unit. I used to have it in series but it started to leak after the 6 or 7th year. I noticed there was significantly more pressure for shifts just running through the aftermarket unit.
Did your other information like gas mileage, distance till empty and all the other things work on the new cluster? I’m thinking about getting one of these. Having a different looking cluster and a temperature gauge would be cool.
My truck never had the distance till empty info. It did maintain all its features and gained trip A and B. Best thing to do is email them if you have any questions as the cluster gets programmed to your VIN.
AnthonyJ350 thank you. I emailed them and it sounds like they can program the miles and hour meter but everything else will be relearned after driving the truck.

Will the gauge work and truck run if you don't get in programmed to the vin.
It will but your mileage will start from 0.
Was it plug and play
It was, make sure to get it programmed to your VIN with the correct mileage.
Did the cluster need programming?
It was preprogrammed to the Vin when I ordered it
Hey I have a 2000 GMC Sierra will these clusters still work plug and play?
I don't think so, the electronics and the dash are slightly different.
