I have the first gen Philip color changing bulbs I have have almost 10 years an they are starting to fell I noticed about a year ago I had to turn them to full brightness so Amazon has a great price right now I got 12 bulbs for the price of 3 Philips Hue I liked your review
With the Govee system, is there an issue upon initialization or continued use where WiFi 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz bands are an issue? I'm familiar with the Globe brand; they work great once set up, but initialization requires using ONLY the 2.4 GHz band and the 5 GHz radio has to be disable on my router. Not a big issue, but somewhat of a pain to shut down, even temporarily, the WiFi band that EVERYTHING else runs on in our home.
I actually have some Kasa bulbs that I bought last year but have never gotten around to reviewing. Perhaps I should get on that. They actually seem pretty great.
A video review of a light bulb while using a black lamp shade. Great idea!
Nice review as always! I really like Govee, hopefully they will send you their new ceiling fixture or outdoor wall light to test.

That’s cool Erin! 👍🏻👍🏻

I haven't noticed that. I've used these lights at a couple different houses on different Wi-Fi networks and they are always bug free.
Thanks for the review. What are your thoughts on the Kasa smart bulb - no hub needed either?

With they work with the TV Backlights?
Thanks Erin.
Any time!
