Both are survival horror experience. With Zaku II, you are struggling to survive against all kinds of technological horrors. With Barbatos, you are the technological horror everyone else is struggling to survive.
Am i playing barbatos wrong? I keep getting fucked by people with ranged weapons
@@keoniflow2019 Positioning is key. Barbatos melts if you go in head-on but if you come flying over a wall from their 5 o'clock theres nothing they can do to stop you. Barbatos is an assassin, not a brawler.

A bad barbatos will immediately get fucked up for being an annoying mosquito. As a dom trooper player i am glad most barbs fit into this territory

The funny thing is Gundam Barbatos is an outdated 300 year old mobile suit

@@Ozpawn Alaya Vajnana does all the heavy lifting since Mika has 3 implanted in him compared to the usual 1-2 that other pilots have. In actuality it's the pilot and not the Gundam in this case.

@Giant Dwarf it hurts so bad when you're stuck reloading while someone is arming/disarming bomb lol.. the stun grenade does shit to stop them aswell. Still Zaku 2 is probably my most played/fav Gundam so far

Both are just lore accurate, except the Zaku II also wanted to make you feel like a poor Zeon pilot who will never win a war.
I suck at this game, so I play Zaku just to increase people's immersion when they dunk on me as a gundam

Zaku is high skill but God damn is it rewarding to troll the enemy team by being *that* guy. We all know the one. He shows up in your back lines, kills your sniper, and then disappears into the ether.

I'm pretty sure that was a tactic used by Zaku pilots so I think that was the intended playstyle. I don't know, I'm still waiting for its release on consoles.

Because barbs hit boxes got nerfed and zaku just abuses the ancient no inertia movement in this game with basic ADAD spam

Same here. Yes, you’ll have to work hard with Zaku II, get a lot of close calls, hold your breath until you get smoke grenade back, but it’s rewarding.

POV difference of a main character fighting grunts vs a grunt fighting a main character
Kinda ironic considering that zaku are supposed to be the "grunts"
Because the Zaku II's kit is very reminiscent of the old and casual fps kit:
30 round mag
Grenades
Some sort of movement skill
Its the most basic kit out there but the one we're most familiar with.
that's pale rider, zaku has a basic kit but his mechanics require perfect play or an oblivious enemy team to not be dead weight
Zaku II is like playing the scout in tf2, except you have way fewer teammates backing you up and you can have your location revealed to the enemy.
I remember fighting this one zaku player in a match, the guy who plays the zaku was so sweaty that he actually survives a 3 v 1 battle and got away safely
So accurate... then the Barbatos gets killed once and leaves game.

While playing barb you have to kamikaze right into a enemy unicorn then slowly smash the others
@@unknownplauer306 you kinda have to do similar things as Zaku as hes much more effective dashing on and empty a clip into someone up close and dashing out than he is at range. Despite his name I think Zaku 2 range usually has to get closer than Zaku melee more often to be reliably effective.
Zaku 2 ammo counts and long reload gave me real anxiety.
Don't care, zaku 2 is literally the funnest unit to play in the game.

Exia is played at the same intensity as Zaku but gets the results of Barbatos

Zaku is so fast that almost in any 1vs1 scenarios the enemies will have hard time to catch you

If you wanna go up against an Ace Mobile Suit like Any Gundam Type EVER using a ZAKU II (a Mass Production old as fuck mobile suit), you better become the Red Comet Himself with skill alone, and nothing else. Remember People, Zeku II's were cannon fodder for the First Gundam.
While they were cannon fodder to gundams, they tore apart federation mass production units

I love playing Zaku R because you always feel like you are at a disadvantage. But then, you 1v3 the other team and it feels so rewarding.

There are only two types of Zaku players; the cannon fodder grunts, and those who move 3-times faster.

Barbatos shouldn't be able to delete a Sazabi so easy. I don't think he's OP but he could use some tweaking to his damage numbers.
Honestly as a sazabi player the only mechs I actually fear are barbatos and zaku(melee). Those two can make 2700 health( with raw health and shield health) seem pointless.

Zaku II is like playing as Scout in tf2 but the difference being that with Zaku I can actually hit my enemies sometimes 😅 🤣
zaku has some of the most fun gameplay and is probably the best suit, besides exia
Zaku II Melee is literally in the game as well
