This plane gives you almost the entire bomb load of a B-17 with similar speed and agility, except once you ditch the bombs you can dogfight. Currently 150 GJN.
Traded obj for my AU-1 and don't regret it. Def not as good at CAP as the other F4s due to extra weight in the nose but it's serviceable as a vulture. This dude is a pro and makes this look much easier than it is. Every enemy will target the AU-1 first as it's a deadly CAS and an easy kill 1v1.
a really like the french f4u 7 which is kind of like a hybrid of AU-1 , the bombs are amazing but the main selling point are SNEBs , they destroy absolutely everything, recommend it to everyone btw love the chat at 5:23
I coulda swore I saw a AU-1 with that exact loadout a few days ago, I ain't never seen one before then. I don't know if it was you because I was playing 6.3. Ngl the AU-1 looks like it's trying to hide among the ADs.

AU-1 - a perfectly capable fighter, with airspawn, monstrous armanent and uber-monstrous bombload. Beats AD-4 (6.0) absolutely everywhere. Gaijin: yeah, 5.7.

why dont u use convergence on the guns? 600 works great, u will strafe AA better

a2d1 can carry 8k lbs, 2 2000lb & 1 4000lb or mix of other bombs
And AD can legit dogfight.
