- The Venza is in its last year of production from Toyota. On the outside you will find a unique front fascia, panoramic glass roof, and upgraded wheels. On the inside you will be welcomed by a comfortable interior. Under the hood is a 2.5L inline-4 paired with (3) electric motors producing 219HP. Is the 2024 Toyota Venza Limited a BETTER luxury SUV than a Lexus NX 350h?

I highly recommend the 2024 Toyota Venza. 40mpg, power tilt steering wheel, heated steering wheel, puddle lamps that says "Venza" at night, all wheel drive, and a lot more cool features.
@@dagoose.where are they being heavily discounted? I’m not seeing that
@@BlackHat-vh4bj They aren't at $45k.
Is the wind noise from the windows being open make loud noises?
@@tjdusz6497 I don't own one so I don't know. Sorry.
What puddle lamps? Is that a feature of the Ltd?
Just bought a 2024 Venza Limited with the stargazer roof for my wife. Made in Japan. Took about 2 1/2 months to get the Titanium Glow paint with Boulder interior. Just beautiful. Took a nice long drive today. Very nice. Quiet. Smooth. Awesome sound system. Bonus: under MSRP . . . winning!
Where do you buy it from ?
Does VENZA comes with memory driver 1 & driver 2 seat setting?
Yes. And when you shut off the engine, the driver's seat moves back a bit and the steering wheel tilts up a bit so it's easier to get out of the car, and get back in later.@@oy8717
@@oy8717yes
Yes it does set for 2 drivers.
Bought the Venza a few weeks ago. Excellent SUV for the money.
You made a great decision.
Thank you, I feel very encouraged, Blessings to you 😊
Did you pay below sticker price?
7 or 8 months before you did with 2023 Venza and I bought the limited one. Love it, everything is good, Thank You
I love my venza limited in wind chill pearl with black leather interior. Just love it. Mine is a 2023.
Hey there, do you feel the car jerks a little bit when the engine kicks in while the car is running?
Just made up my mind, I am a Lexus customer, after your review I am seriously interested in the Venza
Hey Joe, Jose from Puerto Rico. Underrated is an understatement indeed. For the price, it's loaded, man! Wow, I was shocked to see all the features the vehicle has when you compare it to higher priced units. I really enjoyed this review.
I got the 2023 xle and I am telling you, get this before its gone, I have owned 16 vehicles and this was by far the best. I am planing on keeping this for a long time. I think people will love it and it will be missed. Again if you are thinking about it, get it before its gone!
Thank you very much ! I’ve happened to be considering it !
This is the review I’ve been waiting for! Joel, you are a legend thank you for taking the time to review the Venza.
8:18 this sounds really fast, I have a 2021 Limited, and I absolutely love it!❤
I have 2023 xle. My mpg is even better than rav4 hybrid due to aero dynamics. Very quiet and comfort. Comes with on demand awd, all trims. Very nice interior quality. The trunk space is smaller than rav4, but it is not critical for my commuting.
Love everything about our Venza Limited. I wonder if it will become one of those cars that is only appreciated once it's gone.
I purchased a 2021 pre owned low mileage, CPO from dealer who was using it for their finance guys ride.
Best decision ever. Lots of tech takes a while to master all, but basics are easy. Just makes things a little better for everyone. 38 to 40 mpg on 87 octane.
My bet is that the new one will be just as nice as the old one. For people who want the best but don’t care about the label…buy this one!
My man is on FIRE with the videos!
We have the 2021. Amazing vehicle. Prefer it over the RAV4. It feels so luxurious without the luxury price tag. It feels so natural to drive to. Super smooth on the road.
I love my 2023 venza. This review was great and highlighted much of the pros and cons of this vehicle.
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video real true 👍
My new '24 Venza XLE arrived a week ago, after also waiting for about 2 months in transit from Japan - loving it!!! Just finished watching this TH-cam....agreed with everything you said. You missed one little feature - opening the tail gate be putting under the back of the car...and magically opens.
Thought about waiting for Crown....but NO regrets on buying the Venza. THANK YOU
I love my 2021 ruby red xle! So smooth and comfy ride and even if i drive crazy I still get 33-35 mpg the lowest..
I love my 2024 Venza.smooth quiet powerful
Thanks for sharing your ownership experience
@@RaitisRides Thanks
Lovely Car. Thank You so much for the review.
It came home with me tonight. Very excited to start my journey with Toyota.
I'll keep my 2022 Venza Limited over the Crown. It's bound to be way more, and you can't get HUD or power tilt and telescoping wheel like I have. I do like the looks of the Crown Signia though, just wish it had these features that I like.
Bro, I was looking for a good review on the Venza and here u are!!!! Best review guy out there.
I think one of the best looking Toyotas ever built. Very disappointed it is going away.
Purchased a 2024 Venza XLE for my wife and she and I just love the car, hoping to keep it for 10yrs, the gas milage is great!! I call it the poor man's Lexus.
Smart man’s Lexus 😉
Got one for my son before he heads to college. Completely confident in its reliability to get him through school, and then some. Plus stylish. Great purchase all around.
Through school and them some? Toyota hybrids last forever. These newer batteries will last 20 years
@@LivingInAnInverseReality that's my hope!!
Great reporting. Thanks.
Cool review, Joe. I can't wait for the first drive of the Tacoma I Force Max, Land Cruiser, Camry, and Crown Signia 😊 Whats the next first drive coming up for Toyota Joe?
Excelente video saludos desde Córdoba Argentina
I just purchased a 2024 Venza Limited. I love it. It’s phenomenal. Don’t let this hidden gem get away from you! 👍😊
I love my 2021 Venza! I am bummed Toyota has decided to discontinue it in the US. Luckily, it’ll still be sold in other markets under Toyota Harrier. Before I decided to buy my Venza I test drove a Lexus NX and and Lexus RX. The NX felt claustrophobic to me, and I loved the RX interior but not the price tag. Test drove the Venza, loved that it looked like the NX exterior with the RX interior. And loved the price tag! Win-win!!
Good wishes to you , Lori and Steven. Strength building is good for you form the perspective of longevity.
Just bought one for my wife last week. A 2024 Venza Limited (there is no platinum trim). I like it as much as my Lexus RX450h, and it’s made in Japan. (My RX is made in Canada). Great mid size SUV. The hitch is for bike racks only, as Venza has no tow capability.
How much? Get a deal?
@@jonboll2066 $00 off MSRP of $46k. No dealer add on “fluff” or market adjustments.
The lack of tow capability might surprise and disappoint US buyers. However, if you think about it the vehicle is as close to JDM as you can get. No one in Asia camps like Americans do so it makes sense to remove that feature. After all, the Harrier's main demographic is in Asia. You camp in Asia and you'll likely camp in a jungle playing fortunate son.
Yes, it does. At first they said none, but later said as much as the RAV4
I hope I like mine when I get it
I am thoroughly impressed with this car. $45K isn't by any means small change, but you're getting so much features at that price point when compared to other luxury vehicles. for example, I remember watching your review of the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate which costs over $85K, and that damn thing doesn't even come with a panoramic sunroof. AT $85K!!! That is nuts. but this is an impressive looking machine. Toyota has done it once again!!
I paid 39 k out the door for my 2023 LE. I couldn’t care less about the sunroof or the fancy camera. The only thing I wish I had was a digital rear view mirror because my dog’s head, when she sits in the trunk, blocks the visibility
Tried to buy a 23 limited, and couldn't get one. Ended up with a Mazda CX5 Turbo Signature, which is nice. Really liked the hybrid engine transition when pulling out. Dad to find out it is going away as we were hoping to look at it in 26. Maybe the Crown will get HUD by then.
I agree with you on the rear wiper blade. The current 4 Runner that came out in 2010 has a hidden rear wiper blade, so why can't a 2024 have the same.
I like a lot this car design but wondering that if I had an car accident, parts of the car will be fixed/ got easily even though this car will be discontinued?
I like the Toyota Venza, I’d definitely get one.
@Brian_Eugene_Lee Ooh! I’m quite interested, thanks for letting me know about the name!
I have the 2021 Venza and love it..I get 43-47 MPG in the suburbs of South Houston...
I have one and it’s a very good vehicle, the only complaint is the cargo space is very small
Good review, thanks Joe! Likely my wife's next car and there's not a ton out there on it.
18:34 The situational awareness is crazy. Raiti not only slowed down, but also pulled in the same parking lot as the unmarked police car. Great content.
Yes of course Joe & I hurry up and buy one.
I bought the 2023 Venza Limited with the Stargaze panoramic roof in Ruby Flare Pearl for my lovely wife. And she loves it. The ride and feel of this Lexus-like crossover SUV is luxurious. In Japan where it is made it’s called Toyota Harrier. So, the Venza may be going out, but it will go on as the Harrier.
Wonderful ! 🌟
Yeah, I've also seen the Lexus influence with this beautiful Venza, Joe. I would designate the placement of the rear wiperblade low on the back window nothing more than engineering laziness. Period. Especially when the RX has had the wiperblade tucked nicely underneath the spoiler. Just laziness! FYI, I also really like the look of the car front to back, inside and out.
Raiti, great review. This level of attention to detail and nice features is what the RAV4 should have had. Two items - too bad no opening roof to go along with or instead of the trick function. And, placing the rear window wiper on top makes for a sweep that's not as effective... the coverage of the sweep is the reverse or inverse of the other position. In your suggested location, that leaves a portion of that all-important lower right rear quarter view untouched. Leaving it on the bottom makes for at least a functional wiper, versus putting it on top strictly for styling. Let's face it, even placed on the bottom coverage isn't incredible,... the best setup by far was the old mid-'90s Camry station wagon with the twin wiper setup! (and Mini Cooper Clubman with its barn doors and twin opposing wipers) -- but hard to justify on what is basically just a fastback.
Nice review. In other markets, it's called Toyota Harrier. It's a status symbol in Kenya (within the Toyota lineup) after the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (Lexus GX), LC 200, and now LC300.
Ordered a 24 venza, have owned 3 venzasand loved everyone, missed a lot of other features in his previous presentation
are there any disadvantageous buying a model that will be discontinued?
I have a 2023 Venza limited. No sun roof, just solid. Was I gyped? Didn't even know it had the sunroof option, I got the only one at the dealer.
Great SUV ..👏🏻
The Venza looks great! Sadly it's being discontinued for the second time.
Thanks for another great review, Joe and Stephen.
You are super welcome David
I love my 2021 venza, but I am willing to upgrade to a 2024 venza because of your demonstration.
I'd buy that over a Honda!
Thanks Joe and Steven…….happy groundhogs day ! 😁
Please do a day in a life with what I eat in a day. Thanks 😊
It does look a lot like a Lexus which really doesn’t surprise me since it’s there brand as well i definitely like this car better than the RAV4 it does look more luxurious I agree on the rear windshield wiper it should be up under the lip on that spoiler I haven’t seen the crown but I’m not a huge fan of the car the crown I’m over that steering wheel as well here too I’d buy this over either of the other two if Toyota gets out big my way so I can buy Toyota again it wasn’t my fault they couldn’t supply me with the electronic eye for my Camry and once the radio went it had to as well I can’t drive a car with out a radio I’m it and I couldn’t sell it or trade it in either one so it had to go back to them thank you Joe for another great video Joe and Stephen
I placed an order for a limited in mid January and it will arrive in the Canadian dealership at the end of June / beginning of July. It is well worth the wait.
(Edit, you just basically answered what I was talking about) I can only assume that the Toyota Crown Signia is what's ultimately going to replace the Venza. Unless there's a model I'm forgetting about, the Crown Signia seems to be the way Toyota is heading. They want the world to be able to experience the Crown lineup in a very interesting way, and I'm all for it. Now if only we were getting the Crown Sport in the States. That's a vehicle that I'm really intrigued by.
In Toyota suv Venza is my first choice.. I got my 2023 and love it.. And you're right To me it look more beautiful than a lexus
That is so wonderful to hear!
How is the road noise on the highway? I hear people complain about this
Toyota cannot put the rear wiper on top because it has rearview camera inside that area.
That would be my guess. Great review. I went in to test drive the car and came out with the limited version. only one In stock. so far loving it. love to show off the pano-roof to friends .
Please consider reviewing the RWD m240i. Not a single large channel has covered it.
Great video ! Question: Is there such a thing as a "quiet" SUV....just curious. Currently have a Rav4Hybrid XSE and find its incredibly noisy inside.. Have to blast radio when driving esp on highways. Am searching for a suv with low/quiet cabin noise but want hybrid.
@susanmarino2883
I bought a 2022 Venza last Nov. I wanted a quiet SUV and one with a comfortable ride, the Venza has both. The engine is nearly so quiet too. It feel like a luxury vehicle without the huge price. To all the folks talking the 45k sticker, I recommend looking at used 2022 or 2023.
The Venza is reasonably quiet with more noise dampening material than the Rav4. However, it's no Lexus but has some features bordering into what you might consider "Lexus Territory", like touch door lock/unlock. I'm coming from an old 2015 LX Honda CRV with significant highway noise so upgrading to a Venza was a noticeable reduction in road noise. Some people have complained about tire noise on the Venza. Upgrading to Michelin Defenders seem to help a lot with that.
I have a ‘24 Venza Limited, and I’d say the cabin is fairly quiet. Wind noise is nicely hushed. Road noise is mostly dampened as well, but can be a little pronounced at times, especially if you’re on a poorly paved highway. It may be the cheap, stock tires that are mostly to blame for that.
I’ve driven both Venza(own one) and RAV4/Rav4 hybrid. The Venza is much quieter in regards to wind noise
I drive a 2021 Venza Limited. Raiti’s comments are accurate. I get 35 mpg average, but often hit over 40 mpg. My biggest complaint is road noise. Maybe different tires would help? A minor complaint is I have to duck getting in and out even with the seat as low as possible. The passenger side is worse because the seat is not as low as the driver side and up/down adjustment is not present. The rear cross traffic alert is very good.
I have 2021 and agree. Also there’s a blind spot i can’t seem to adjust mirrors to. While monitor system does work i have had a handful of close call side collisions not experienced with any other car. Design flaw. New 2024 venza no nav. Even on limited have to use phone or pay $17/month subscription
I have a ‘24 Limited and yeah, while it is pretty quiet around town and on really well paved highways, if you’re on a poorly paved highway, it gets fairly loud, sometimes really loud if the road is really bad. I’m pretty sure the tires are the biggest culprit. Mine came with Bridgestone Ecopias, which are designed to maximize gas mileage but unfortunately makes them very loud at times. I can’t wait to switch them out. I knew it wasn’t going to be as quiet as a Lexus, but when it’s compared to a Lexus in many ways, you kinda expect it to be on the quieter side. Other than that, though, I love my Venza.
Toyota dont export Harrier to US? or under different name?
because this vehicle called Harrier in my country
im little confused
Always liked the Vensa
I’m so glad that I can bring it to you
I have a 2024 venza is awesome limited love it
I want one
I love my 2024 Venza Limited. Got it 12 days ago. The pictures I have seen for the Crown Signia haven’t impressed me.
Only one feature I noticed would be great, and should be on ALL Toyota models, is that the QI charging plate is more a vertical stand like a cup holder for the phone. Makes so much more sense.
Otherwise, doesn’t seem all that big a deal and the Venza Limited is fantastic
My Venza is in Blueprint exterior and black interior
Do the rear seats recline? Is this cheaper than the new Crown?
Yes, they recline. 10k cheaper than Crown
I’ve always preferred the venza with the V6 before that was discontinued and now this one is going away. Let’s see how the crown does with that being its replacement
So apprciative of your thorough review. I am leaning towards the Venza for its comfort, mileage and pricepoint. RAV 4 is lesser in the comfort and the Crown looks to be more car than i need.
Thank you for taking the time to say that and let me share it with you!
Hey Joe , when is the driving event of 2025 Camry ? Please let me know or mention in a toyota video . Thank you !
Both are pretty nice in my opinion.
Love this baby lexus. Not too big as the lexus, not too small as the Rav4, it's just right! Another fantastic review fromm the hardest working man in the auto business!
Venza’s interior space is smaller than RAV4. Lexus NX is smallest of the three. Highly recommend to see one in person before buying.
Looks good
Best value
Toyota legend 👑
Yeah but it’s the end of the road for the venza
@@Brian_Eugene_Lee Its replacement is also hybrid only.
If I want luxury Toyota Hybrid vehicle, but I don't want a Lexus, that's it 😁
Wish the rav4 prime had some of these interior features
This car seems to be the spiritual successor to the first generation Lexus RX or Toyota Harrier
You are correct
In asia, it’s badged as Toyota Harrier. It’s a higher up like Toyota Vellfire and Alphard
This was a great tutorial, I’m waiting for mine to arrive in approximately 1 more week. Just wondering if it’s reasonable to ask for price under MSRP of $47,000 on the Limited. If so what is a good asking price?
Hi. I got my 2023 Limited in Ruby Flare Pearl with the Stargaze roof in December of 2022. MSRP was 45,229. I waited 2 months and drove 300 miles one-way to an out of state dealership in NC to get it. You will love your Venza. Congrats!
Thank you so much for the info, Greatly appreciated !
I’m guessing we will start to see the rear wiper phasing out since the digital rearview mirrors are becoming more common place. Also due to the major pressure applied by Joe Raiti’s ZONK! :) Great review….keep up the great work Joe!
The camera for the digital rear view mirror is inside the top of the rear windshield, so you’d still need the wiper to wipe away the rain drops to keep a clear image for the camera.
@@ryanzeid146 Ohhh, I was thinking the rear camera was just under the rear spoiler (outside). Didn’t realize it was inside the glass. I learned something…thanks.
@RaitisRides someone mentioned that the Venza’s are made in Japan. Are they built on the Lexis line?
They are built in the Lexus plant in Japan.
Yes. However, only the second-generation Venza is made in Japan, in their Lexus line. The first-generation Venza was US-designed and built in Kentucky.
Viva Toyota!
Is it just me or does the digital rearview mirror seem to look to the sky and not the road?? Is there a way to angle it down or something? Can barely see any cars on there
Good point.
Mine is angled perfectly on the road. I will have to check and see if it can be adjusted. There has to be a way.
Yes
I really like the Venza and it’s probably going to be the wife’s next car. We were thinking Crown Signia but the lack of 4 way lumbar is a deal breaker.
Isn't it going to be replced by the Toyota Crown Insignia?
Thanks man for what you do. The Venza is actually a Lexus in diguise..Real nice vehicle..Let me know if Toyota or any dealership in the bay area needs a professional educated man to drive one around for them. I am available!
Its far from a lexus
I have a 21 Limited. It’s not close to a Lexus.
I love Toyotas because they’re extremely reliable, according to Car Wizard. Toyota is definitely one of my favorite brands, I’m a Mopar guy but Toyota’s definitely the best when it comes to reliability!
This looks perfect but I'm very concerned about it being discontinued. How does that affect my maintenance support, parts, and resale in 6-8 years?
Great question. I own one, so hopefully we get an answer
Nice car 👍👍
I’m so glad that you are digging this one
I love the Venza but I wish the seats were Mocha also.
The Venza limited is definitely a good value for the money in today's market.
I agree it favors
My mom has it!
Drove Venza, Rav, CRV and NX 350H last year to see what to purchase. Rav4 great for families but not luxury at all. CRV alsmot Germanic in comparison. Clean, stiff, cold almost. Venza luxury compared to Rav. NX 350h step above all and class above (price as well). Got luxury package and wouldn't trade it for any of them. Money isn't a barrier for me but if it was any of them are fine but like a good ice cream, just a matter of flavors you prefer.
