I have a 2018 M240I X-drive (about to hit 30K) with a CTS Turbo catted downpipe, MHD stage 2 tune, and Xhp stage 2 transmission tune, and like you, I still love my car after 4+ years of ownership. I just bought a new set of wheels for summer use with almost identical offsets (+40 vs your +38) and a set of Continental extreme contact sport 02's; 225/40/18 front & 245/35/18 rear. The wheels I chose (Fast Wheels FC 04, Titanium, 18 x 8 front, 18 X 9 rear) aren't quite as light and probably not as well made as the SSR's, but they weigh less than 20 lbs. which, as I'm sure you know, make a noticeable improvement in handling compared to the factory wheels (mine weigh about 24 Lbs. front & 25 Lbs. rear.). And since I've had a great experience for 4 Canadian winters with my winter set of FC 04's (in a square, 18 X 8 setup with 225/40/18 Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4's), I thought I'd continue being a cheapskate and buy them again because there aren't any other wheels as light that I could find in the same price range. ;)
