Hearing someone call Team Fortress 2 “Fortnite” has got to be one of the scariest things I’ve heard all day.
the way I screamed, oh my god.
UN GAMER DETECTED (not seriously mad I don't have it in me. But they do look very different lol not everything cartoony is Fortnite 😂)
yeah felt suuuper oooold
@@RainbyFIN honestly, Jamie probably has only heard of fortnight. I hadn't heard of it until like yesterday.
Clearly we need TF3 to bring it back in the public consciousness.
It's not really about the bathrooms, just like it wasn't really about the bus seats either.
yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bathrooms used to also be segregated by race
funnily enough, the first public toillets in modern times Britain and France were gender neutrtal, but men got pissy.
Exactly. If it were about the bathrooms, then why aren't we hearing complaints about trans men in men's bathrooms? It's just an excuse for bullying.
@@pietjewaanman3506 safety of who? not allowing people into bathrooms that they appear as the gender of puts them more in harm than anyone else. signs wont stop actually dangerous people anyway in the first place
Ew, being reminded of those straight people that sexualize their children made me feel gross. I hate that. There's no excuse for them to do that and then get on our case about displaying pride clothing on our children. If they're proud of their toddlers "dating", why can't we put our children in harmless rainbow shirts...? Hypocritical.
My grandma got angry at my mom because she made a baby blanket that had rainbows on it. It was because my little brother is a "rainbow baby" (A baby born after a miscarriage)
It wasn't even gay 😭
@@Milo-hp9fw The bigots are _so _*_obsessed_* with hating us that they will latch onto any reason they can find to do so.
@@Milo-hp9fw Im sorry.
It's revolting.
I'm straight & _I_ agree. It's just really bad
Last I checked, the bathroom in my own home is also gender neutral. Have you ever gone to a house that was like 'ladies pee upstairs, men downstairs."
@@daveisbrill Oh, definitely cleaner. Just saying, everyone uses it, regardless of gender, without a thought. Also, yes, if I was an enby, I'd probably choose the ladies' room because, in my anecdotal personal experience, it's always cleaner, and usually smells better.
I have actually been in a house where the downstairs bathroom was for men and the upstairs for women! Yearly party in a multi-story house, and one year the son of the hosts decided to make and put up gendered bathroom signs. But yeah, not common.
@@Duskkit LOL! There had to be at least one! I would have taken that as a joke.
@@daveisbrillgood lord you're easy to trigger, coward. 😂😂
The trans crowd are mostly politically woke and it explains a lot. The woke crowd cares more about labels rather the actual substance. The trans/woke crowd is more concerned with not calling an illegal who murders an illegal alien than caring about the victim of their crime … likewise the trans/woke crowd cares much more about their made up labels to describe their impersonation of the opposite sex than the reality of their actual biology. Thus, they rage and demand that everyone cater to their delusions. Funny but sad. Trans folks are all twisted up with language rather than facing truth.
literally found out recently that my mamaw is a lesbian and has been since the 60s. but she apparently claimed she had to marry a man cuz she wanted kids. shes always been super trans and gay accepting and it makes since to me now
Well done mamaw ❤ thanks for being you
I hope she and your dad still had a good time together. Nowadays it isn't that unusual in my country for a gay couple meeting a lesbian couple just for kids. Double the mom and dad jokes for them.
This sounds so much like my one grandma. Divorced grandpa and lived with a "roommate" from then until the day she passed and their side by side burial plots and headstones aren't very just friends sounding. Never admitted it outright but grandma's friend just artfully neither confirms nor denies anything but her face gives her away
Im glad she meet a good man then.
@@MissMoontreeit’s always hilarious to me when I hear these stories because it’s like “No you can’t marry a woman/man!” and then two seconds later; “Oh sure go marry them and then live with another “straight” couple that just so happens to have the person you wanted to marry before that’s totally fine and not gay!”
"Bethany! They are babies."

Such a great quote
The way he said it lmaooooo
"No, Marjorie, they are two!"
“Research shows that at least 75 percent of patients with gender dysphoria have other psychiatric problems. In the group of children and young adults, autism, eating disorders, self-harm behavior and abuse are common. For all these conditions there is evidence-based treatment. Given such, gender dysphoria often disappears, as it is usually secondary to these conditions.
Since gender dysphoria often is secondary to psychiatric conditions for which there is evidence-based treatment and gender-corrective therapy for adolescents lacks scientific support, all gender-corrective therapy for patients younger than 25 years should be discontinued.” 29

Lesbian coming out: 'Hi Dad, I'm Lesbian'. Dad's response: 'Hi Lesbian, I'm Dad'
this is the only way Dads should respond
Dude that would be hilarious.
That’s what happened when I came out as bisexual lmao
Lesbian: "Why would you name me this way?"
I do this with random adjectives people use to describe themselves, and/or feelings. Just so they can feel safe if they want to trust me to give their changed name to.

I laugh when I heard people saying, "I'd NEVER use a gender neutral bathroom. And I never have".
Do they not use the bathroom at home? Or do the male and female family members have separate bathrooms to use? Do they not use the toilet at the friends homes? Because I'm pretty sure that when going to the toilet at a friend's house, you wouldn't ask, " Where's the men's bathroom?" Or "I hope that this is the men's"? ( Or ladies. Take your pick).
Because anyone visiting my house asking that would be told to go piss outside! ( We live in a unit, and have one bathroom)!!
So, in all reality, EVERY SINGLE PERSON has used a gender neutral toilet! 😆
Lol
@@daveisbrill You’ve never heard of a port-a-potty, have you?

my main issue with people going crazy when to children talk to each other is the result can effect the children's development their relationships can suffer. if the first time you talk to someone of an opposite gender they make it strange you might just avoid it to prevent that from happening. it can also mean you may not know you can have platonic relationships only remantic realtionships.
can you tell i have exeriance in the subject lol :D personaly i dont really care and i have been breaking it but yea still sucks. also i am pretty sure i am aro/ace
When I was seven I thought the only way I could enjoy being around boys was to date them. All the books and shows I watched forced that idea on me. So I had a boyfriend at 7. My mom freaked out when she saw “boyfriend” and scared me off from being around boys for years. So yeah…. I definitely see what you’re saying
i remember saying i wanted to marry some random guy when i was in first grade just because he was the only boy who was actually nice to me. that was interesting. i might not even like guys.
literally my exact experience, sad abt it cuz i could’ve formed so many meaningful friendships but the societal expectation of romantic interest just stressed me out so much i avoided any interactions
Unironically yes! I stopped being friends with boys as a kid because people were weird
When I came out to my parents as a trans guy I explained that gender identity is an " internal sense of feeling" that it cannot be explained with words and it can only be felt...they understood me...they accepted me... I am so happy...!!!
Exactly! I am not trans so I don’t have/understand the feelings but that doesn’t make them any less valid or real! I don’t need to understand the exact feeling to respect the people who feel it :-) otherwise I would have the right to be an a-hole to all the allosexuals and I can just say “well I don’t understand your feelings, are you sure you’re not making them up?” I am so glad that your parents understand that and are being supportive!

coconut oil is a liquid that becomes solid in the fridge!
I've had coconut oil and it was definitely solid (well, like soft butter texture) at room temperature - in the UK at least.
@@hannahk1306Yeah it depends a lot. I love in France, in summer it's mostly liquid, in winter it's solid. (And I never put it in the fridge)
Came down here to say this. Also, in principle it depends on how hot the liquid is when it goes into the fridge. In principle, anything can be a liquid.
@@hannahk1306 yeah it depends on where you live. Warmer climates usually always have liquid coconut oil at room temp where colder climates usually don’t :) I live in the Netherlands, our coconut oil has only recently been liquid in the summer (gotta love climate change)
@@trishapellis Anything can be a liquid, but not every liquid can be put into a fridge. Both Helium (boiling point -269°C) and tungsten (melting point 3400°C) can be liquid, but you’ll have trouble getting both in liquid form into the freezer and tungsten is going to destroy your freezer.

On the topic of baby/toddler clothes, a few weeks ago when I was out shopping with my mother, we’re going to buy clothes for me. And in one of the stores we went to, we walked past the baby clothes section and I saw a t-shirt (or maybe it was a sweater, I don’t remember) with the words “New to the crew” and a teddy bear on it. That’s the kind of clothes parents should give their children, not the inappropriate disgusting ones that says “Ladies man”.
Ive seen baby shirts that said "hung like a 3 year old".. weird
Very much so. I've loved the ones that show animals, landscapes, starry skies, unknown planets and flying saucers, etc. for my own kids. Avoids gender stereotypes, avoids offending anyone's sensibilities (or at least anyone who's not insane), looks good on the baby without restricting their movement, etc.
I grew up with this humour all around me(we didnt have labels like Aro/Ace in the 70s so I didnt know why I wasn't interested) and everyone just treated it as a big joke but things were more innocent back then, less predatory, over time, attitudes changed and the meanings did with them, sadly.
@@FyreMoon1 I'M SORRY, WHAT????
I do not understand how or why a group of women would actively protest against another group of women! Women of all types, Black, Hispanic, and Trans need all the exact same support. And that's because we are ALL women!!!
Because unfortunately, some marginalized individuals would prefer to place themselves at the top of the system that oppresses them, rather than seeing the system itself as the problem. This is why so many TERFs uphold patriarchal values.
Because "trans women" AKA trans identified males are not women. Simple.
Don't believe me, go and read the mtf subreddit and other posts by "trans women" on social media. Ever heard a woman threaten someone with rape?
@@FrozEnbyWolf150 Nope. "Trans women" are not women. They are males.
Well trans women are not actually woman they are men who want to be woman which is very different to being a woman.
@@saoirse2963 Neuroscience, psychology, and sociology demonstrate otherwise, and sex and gender are not the same thing regardless, so you're wrong every which way.

Slime (as well with things like gelatin and similar) are non-Newtonian fluids (an in-between state between solid and liquid).

I still don't understand why single person bathrooms have to be gendered at all? It seems dumb to stand and wait to use the toilet when there's a completely empty one 5 feet away.
God that NB bathroom thing is so painfully true. When I'm wearing a dress, but have a beard, I just hold it.

Butter is a solid in the fridge and will melt on a hot day. If you live in a warmer country than Britain, then that's one solid that will melt when you take it out of the fridge.
There's at least 2 metals that melt around 20 degrees Celsius so where I live would melt when you take out of the fridge 10 months a year...
Sorta related to the t-shirt thing. In primary school my sister was getting bullied by a boy and it got to the point where my mum had to have a meeting with the headteacher about it. And the headteacher, AN ADULT WOMAN, called a primary school boy a LADIES MAN.
I actually had the opposite happen to me with the whole forgetting you changed your name thing. I changed my name, and almost immediately didn't realize people were talking to me if they were sayin my old name. In fact my manager forgot for a moment that I changed my name, and called me by the old name like 5 times before I realized they were talkin to me.
I changed my name but didn’t change it at school for a while. Doing the register was so awkward because I’d be really intentionally listening for my deadname (thankfully I’m at the start) and still almost miss it. *Every. Time.*

I think that that could have been the best first time for the men's...but I just couldn't bring myself to do it, I was too nervous.
(My friend couldn't come along because she is a girl)
First attempt, the place was too crowded and I was scared to go, the other time two people were hanging out in front of the men's door and even at the third try, with best conditions, I was too scared...well, after almost 6 hours, it was too urgent and I went to the girl's toilet.
