The oil change is the easy part. That dam plastic can be miserable and it's not just the CBR but I curse mine every time.

This is just for discussion and education, not to be an ass.... 3:45 when adding the oil to the crankcase doesn't it fill into the filter as its mounted anyway, thereby making it unnecessary to add oil to filter before installing??
So basically, if you finish setup and add oil, that before starting the bike if you were to remove the filter then oil would just spill out showing it did at least partially fill regardless as necessary.
The guy that gave you advice, gotta remember they often simply heard it from someone else too haha. So I say again, Im not trying to be a 'know it all' dbag' or being ugly. just for clarification purposes. Sometimes people spill oil when pouring into the filter when. People, always do your research. And this isnt it haha. if its a video, get more advice.

Oil doesn't circulate to the filter until the bike is being demonstrated. It could very well be unnecessary but like I said it's just a tip I picked up from track techs. Thanks for the input, please sub.

@@justaguy4real Rule of thumb is if the filter screws vertically, then some you should put some oil in the filter, if it screws horizontal, then no oil is needed in the filter. Either way, i add just a tiny bit if its a horizontal screw filter just to be on the safe side.

@@williammiller5654 I'm accustomed to use motul oils but it's surely the only motul oil that looks similar to a 2 stroke oil
