This looks like a task for a Remote Management software. We use Automate by Connectwise, this will allow you to manage a fleet as well a push software including updates. If you are looking into outsourcing this, you reach out to a Managed service provider in your area, this is a service that is fairly standard in the monthly services provided!
Lenovo is separated into 3 tiers with: Lenovo Think (business related), Lenovo Legion (gaming) and then they have a single consumer end. The thing that really annoys me is that my system is not recoginized when I go to the Lenovo website. My Serial number sticker came off my laptop, when I had to get a new charging port, from onsite support they replaced MOBO now serial is not recognized please help?
Sometimes when we scan our Lenovo products it will add an S to the beginning of the serial number. Not sure why this happens but they might had added the 'S' to yours. If that's the case try looking it up without 'S' at the beginning. Also note that any "O's" in the serial number are actually zeros. I Hope this helps!
can someone please help? i try to launch the lenovo vantage app, it opens, but gets stuck on the looping animated lenovo tm logo... ive tried many fixes, uninstalls, new drivers, nothing works.
Interesting - There is a 'commercial version' and a 'regular version' make sure you are installing the correct version for your system. @Lenovo - Maybe you can help with this? You can do ALL OF THIS through windows!! What is the point of having a 500mb program loaded, eating up space to do the same exact things that can be done through the OS??? What is the advantage?? Not only does this eat alot of space and resources, now a 3rd party has all your data.....I DONT GET IT
Lenovo Vantage is a one stop shop. Some of these options are enabled by having the correct hardware paired with Windows OS, however vantage allows for additional settings to be enabled that can override windows. Vantage is also great for non tech savvy people wanting to keep their machine updated and understand their needs, they are able to view available updates, machine details and resources currently being used in much less intimating process. We aren't saying Vantage is the best option for everyone, and if you do not feel the features of this program are a fit for you, there is no harm in uninstalling.
Lenovo service has one the worst after sales service i have ever seen. After taking customize laptop of ~2L INR have to wait for 10-12 days to avail the service on that if i would have not taken ADP service i would have to go to there service center and have to pay charges for the parts if it has some issues . Sales executive mentioned its not 1 device per year but it depends on device that is corrupted but now they are not even ready to give basic service on time.

Unlocking it using fingerprint or just by looking at it is what I want and doesn't work for my T480s that I just bought.

Never do system updates UNLESS needed. Take the approach of.. if it's not broken, don't fix it.
