No I especially not on a low pressure system like this. I do run my pressure, washer, the same way as well and well. I won’t stress that one nearly as much but I have never ever blown the O-ring out. Honestly, you never will ever unless you are using hot water which I don’t. Then you should consider the plug on the end with a power washer.
No what I am saying is this is the way I do it and these are the reasons why and why I also think it’s better than the alternative solutions. So here is the information and I will let you decide. If someone can give me a reason why, and show me something I should change I will always entertain different ideas. You can learn some thing from everyone. Also I wouldn’t necessarily say in reality that there is a wrong way. I just think they are better ways and I give the reasons why.
I only make and sell the barrel. If you bought an entire gun from me you would have to pay a vendor to ship it to me and all the other parts and then I would have to assemble it and then you would have to pay again to have it shipped to you, so that’s why I’m only doing the barrels. I’m sure vendors will carry my product soon but for right now I’m selling the barrel at $48 for a limited time and that includes tax and the processing as well as shipping so I’m not throwing in any hidden fees. I could ask 39.95 then by the time you check out your paying $55 with all the hidden fees, but I want to really get these out there to you guys and give you a nice discount for this first run.
I haven’t tested the psi really but I can. The hose is actually about 265 to 270 I cut about a 30 foot section off and use that around my house. I would say this 270 feet of 5/8 hose definitely outperforms the 235 ish feet of half-inch that I used to run and has better performance. I’ll have to go do some testing with my flow meter as well as my pressure gauge. Only thing is my pressure gauge is a three eights internal so that’s gonna hurt me a little bit.
I use a 12v pump 3/4 inlet and out let with 5/8 hose , I'm only able to use a ball valve '. The gives the pump to much back pressure Note the tiger gun give the pump to much back pressure 7gpm 60 psi pump
I don’t remember I got it from a local print shop and I can’t even remember which one because I use two different ones and it’s been quite a while since I bought them.
Its kuritech and it’s possible that it is more flexible than the holes you have but remember things on video are not always necessarily the same as in person. Maybe it’s less flexible in person than what it seems but it was pretty cold out and when it’s warm, it’s even better so you might be right. I can tell you that the carbon fiber barrel seems cool on video but when you get it in person, it will change your life.Haha
What is your connection for the J-Rod. Would this connection work? 304 Stainless Steel Fitting, Reducer Adapter, 1/4-Inch Male Pipe x 1/2-Inch Female Pipe www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08KSZFJHW/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=A2GWB408K7VADK&th=1
@Soft Wash Science I got a Water Dragon 6 not terribly impressed. If I wanted a longer wand for a huge cedar roof 40-50 square plus 20 more on a garage, could I get one I got a lead on. Very limited access. I wish I could post the screenshot on here.
@@scottpratson7766 honestly to make one long enough because a lot of guys have asked me I would say you would be cheaper to buy a better pump for sure. The cost to make that along with shipping it’s gonna be really expensive.

Thanks for watching!
Have you ever blown the o ring out opening of the coupler when cracking the ball valve?

So what u are saying if we aren’t doing it the way u do it. That we are all doing it wrong???

How much for the gun setup?
There's a link in the description I think it's 48 bucks

@@softwashscience Right on! I think it's a good fair price. I suspect you'll be selling ALOT of these. Great idea!
@@Rick-kp6wf thank you!
You don't have pressure drop on 300ft?

You need an accumulator tank. Also get a 100 psi next time
Can you tell me what type of accumulator you’re using? Send me a part number so I can upgrade

Its so old it has completely rusted over. I’ll have to wire brush it off at some point.
What 12v pump are you running?
Delavan
Where did you get your hoodie?

You commented that you use 5/8 hose. What hose do you use? I have chemical hose but it is not as flexible as the hose you showed in your video.
