Look out im starting this business in a niche area. Comercial and residential, it's going to be epic and more than likily going to give this builder some biz. Thanks guys take risks and the universe will to the rest.😊
At 9:30 you are pressure washing the edge off the road and it seems three is a bit of run off. Is the storm drain somthing you need to block off since the Clean Water act does not let water down those drains.
Your 'guest' (M. Coty Yarborough) say's that a 200 Gal. Water tank on a pick up is enough to do most projects. But if my pressure washer as an 8GPM, this mean's that my tank will be empty in only 25 minutes ?! So it seems to me like it wouldn't be enough for a hole roof top of a big house ? Are my calculations right ? Thank you very instructive video (Great Job )
That’s why you hook up a water hose to keep water pumping into your tank. I work with my dad & his machine has two water hoses. Always takes awhile to run out.
Okay i was just wondering, because in some places like where i live (In Quebec, Canada) There are many municipalities that have (water meters) So !!! Thanks for your feed back, Keep up the good work 👍✌🖐
I like all of them and being im a carpenter by trade I can appreciate that different tools are for different jobs. With that being said I’m leaning towards an AR 45. If there are any negatives I’d love to hear about them. Thank you
Was thinking about this and All I currently have is a Honda pressure washer it’s at my parents house but I’m gunna look at what size it is. I’m sure it’s smaller but maybe I can still offer it with everything else do
Absolutely love the vids btw. So I just bought a 4gpm Simpson from my buddy for a great price with the plan of wheeling it door to door around my neighborhood asking if I can wash strictly just driveways, sidewalks, and patios and was wondering if it’s reasonable for me to do those jobs on their water or should I wait a bit longer until I can get a tank to use instead?
From what I’ve seen and heard most people who stick to driveways, patios, sidewalks and such, they hook up to the customers house. They usually say it’s expected and the customer is usually aware. I’d call before hand or when going over the job just so they know.
Not true. Some houses are well water. I've washed a two story 3000 Sq ft house with attached garage and sidewalk with patio around 450 plus gallons of water. We had a 500 gallon resovior tank and nearly used it all. So it depends on the Sq footage and applications of what your doing. The draw back I will admit we didn't have a surface cleaner so it took so much longer cleaning patio and sidewalk with steps with turbo tip and 25° tips.
Air compressor Thanks for this video. I believe it has helped me decide what equipment I’m going to buy. I will be doing this on my days off but I still wanna be able to do roofs and soft wash so I’m thinking a mini skid will be a good start. Again thank you!
Good morning. My name is Clarence Mitchell. I am trying to get the information from your video with Coty to see where their business is located because i am planning to start a pressure washing business in my State and City of Wilmington Delaware, and i want to purchase a rig to start my business.
no bro, any investment in yourself isn’t too much. don’t doubt it do it. you’ll make the money back x2 and then on top of it, you’ll be proud of yourself for taking risks and it’ll boost your confidence. trust bro do it
What if I'm a teenager looking to make money with simply a 2.8 gpm electric? I dont have a way to get anything better, but the best is maybe get a surface cleaner to raise more faster. Is that a good idea? If so, whats the best surface cleaner under 100 dollars?
before making a 5k investment statrt small and make sure that the business will work for you. Mean you are sure you want to do this while lucrative, it is not for everyone
More flow. Increased efficiency when rinsing. Also a gear drive rather than direct drive so I’m able to start the washer and let it run without worrying that the pump will burn up. 2.7 worked fine since I already had it, but it went belly up so I upgraded.

I would have liked to see this answered.

So what you are saying is that i have to take water from the customers premises, right ?
@@Leoblier-66 yes. But every homeowner is fine with it. Not working with anyone who won't allow it lol. But that is so rare.

Southeast Softwash. Look it up. They say the name in the video about ten times….
My son is starting his own business. Do you always recommend a tank or using the customer's water is acceptable for residential jobs?
What about if i bring my trailer how much you guys charge me

My 5.5 has made me a ton of money. Havent needed to upgrade to an 8GPM because I just run 2 5.5 machines at the same time.
I want to start this as a business for the weekends to test the market in my area. Would you consider 5k too much as an initial investment in myself?
Like a 5.5gpm over a 4gpm to start? or stick to 4 until i decide i can make a profit?

Air compressor! 💪
Costs?
The prices for some of the skids that im looking at are ridiculous and over priced lol!
Upgraded from a 2.7 to 6.5 gpm. Major difference!
What’s the different bud? Can you give me an example?
