Basically yeah! I love green roofs! Or green walls! They are built with extra support and are amazing for making buildings more efficient. There's also a type of cabin thing I think Icelandic its like a Lil hill house, with grass and stuff growing on top its built into tiny hills.

I´m really happy you did it and showed us your amazing work.

A thank you to Lee for adding his skills and to Jeremy for working on the astounding cleanup. You found "soft-washing hell"? Ouch, 30 liters of solution. Certainly another slew of experience to have for future work. Certainly the company will like having video proof that their product works on even severe roof conditions. Glad the second side of the roof was more doable and that you were able to get things done. That was an amazing improvement at the end.

This one took me back to my childhood days growing up in Seattle, Washington. We had a huge cedar shingle roof that required cleaning every year because the property had about six fir trees on it that would shed their needles all over the roof. Add to that the north side of the roof had that lovely moss that had to be scraped away. It would grow in between all the shingles and we would use the head of a screwdriver to scrape it out. Those were the days. Seattle stays wet and damp most of the time so all of your videos remind me of being back there. You would have a lot of work if you moved there!

Where I'm from we don't really get moss buildup in the first place due to the long, cold winters, but on top of that most homes where I am from just use shingled roofs that get replaced outright every 20-50 years (depending on storm damage and such).

Hi Sid, I dont know if I mentioned before but I jet washed then spray painted the whole roof to prevent moss.....and it works ! Im living in Sweden and our winter climate drops sub zero, so its battered from ice and snow, but it still looks awesome. Just the gutters I clean now yearly and thats all .

Good job, SID and company! I hope the owner paid you enough to cover everything. Just watching you guys trying to scrape those mosses off the roof is TIRING for me. What more for you? Amazing.

I need to invest in some scaffold like you have. That must make it feel so much safer working these roofs
