When boiling let them boil until the meat is tender then you know they are done. The amount of time varies, because everyone stove cooks different. The baking temperature is 375-400 degrees until start to brown a little bit.
When I cook meat like that I let it boil for awhile then I rince with cold water about 2 or 3 times cause it will lead a lot of gunk in your pot then I will season it but each of their own 😏
@@beverlyannsjoblom you can also use vinegar to clean the meat let it soak it about 10 or 15 minutes then rince in cold water I do all my meats like that cleaning it with vinegar 😊

How LONG do you boil them?
About 2 1/2 hours make sure the meat is tender then cook most of the water out and it starts to thickens.
You didn’t say how long to boil them or how long to bake them and at what temperature….???

Crockpot on low for 8 hours. Boil med/high heat 4-5 hours I've never baked them

That's a lot of washing. All the favor is washed out of your meat. But you are right to each their own.
Thank you Carmen, I was looking to see if I should wash then quick boil the tails first as I do the pork necks; you answered my question.
