Why is this so hard??? I swear my body forgets it's ever done anything physical and reverts back to when I didn't even have the core strength to sit up straight for very long when I do this routine.
I just started doing synchronized skating and decide to do more workouts for it- this is definitely a challenge! Plan on doing this as much as possible, can't wait to see the progress!
I'm gonna use this for rollerskating exercise since I get really bad pains from skating at the moment and anytime I am not on my wheels is agony. I really need some quality and worthwhile exercises to build my strength.

You can flex and point your toes by turn, roll you ankles and do variations of those. You can also use a flat disk with half a ball under it to challenge your balance or a rope wich will force you to put more strength in your ankles and feet if you see what I mean

I recommend not rushing straight into it, as it can lead to injury. Start with the best work out and slowly incorporate these exercises into the routine.
To help the pressure try doing some ankle stretches before and try looking into some ankle strengthening exercises. Keep in mind if your ankles starts to hurt, stop you can hurt yourself.
I wish to learn to skate I'm 12 and I have been into skating 2 years now I practicing these exercises if I want to figure skate ill just have to work hard! Edit I've never stepped foot in a rank

I know they say its impossible cuz im 18 not 5 yadayada but, i believe in myself. And i want to compete in the national olimpics and make the whole world hear my name. I'm going to try your exercises but am really depressed about stage 4 endometriosis a massive cyst affecting core strength and worry it's affected my butt :/ BTW I'm transmasc on T but still want flexibility and strength. Long time no skate.
Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear about your situation! I know a lot of people who have endometriosis and it’s no joke! I hope you will find a solution and a way to improve it! 🙏🙏🙏

I think that pile squat is what I consider a demi/semi/half pile, because your feet don't entirely align. The interpretation makes sense though. I'm not trying to be neat picking, just being an aspergur, and getting yelled at is fine. Why am I writing this?
Who else is here because they took a huge break from figure skating due to covid and they feel like they lost the strength to do the things you could do 🥲🥲 this is the worst feelin I swear 🥲

I have ankle problems too I've sprained both a few times sadly

I recommend not rushing straight into it, as it can lead to injury. Start with the best work out and slowly incorporate these exercises into the routine.
To help the pressure try doing some ankle stretches before and try looking into some ankle strengthening exercises. Keep in mind if your ankles starts to hurt, stop you can hurt yourself.
