Finally Harley pays attention to actual performance. I think this bike looks awesome and has all the performance bling BUT it is so damn EXPENSIVE! I could own 2 or 3 motorcycles that would out perform this for so much more value. Like most things in todays world I like, it’s just too much money.

Yeah but then what would all those lawyers and dentists with their leather vests buy?

@@kugangles9860 Know a guy who owns his own towing company and has a nice house, many toys and a garage full of motorcycles. Swaps out Harley's like we change out underwear. He does work his butt off 24/7 going on 32 years now.

Wow! Real innovative H-D. That’s going to bring you young, new riders and save the company for sure.

Real forged carbon fiber is an oxymoron. Carbon fiber is not forged. Marketing nonsense

Sweet looking bike, I love it, but the price leaves me scratching my head. The 2024 BMW K1600 Grand America with every possible option is like $37K, and has 160HP, 137 LBS torque - so go figure.

Very nice looking bikes but when is Harley going to upgrade the junk internals? I just spent $1200 on new lifters for my 2021 Road Glide Special and it still sounds like shit every time I cold start it.

Become? It's making them, right? If you're suggesting that's all they make, I disagree. If I want a bike that goes fast, there are plenty I can buy that go a hell of a lot faster for much less money. That's not at all why most people buy Harleys.

    Goldwing > CVO

If you see one in person, then ride one... you'll be blown away. Be as cynical as you like, the experience may prove dangerous. It was to me. In fact, after riding the CVO ST, I was kind of ruined. Something got into my circulatory system and invaded my brain. It happened through my eyes, hands, feet, and butt. Crazy how Harley has infected me with this virus.

Oh, come on. Look at that size. Price tag. Weight. Did I mention the price and the size? Please be real. This cannot possibly be what HD needs more of. Indeed, they need far more of exactly the opposite. They need to study Triumph *real hard. HD has the engineering and manufacturing capability. They are missing design and vision.

I love that Harley thinks that another overpriced, farkle festooned barn for fat dentists is what's needed to save the brand 😂

These bikes are really expensive. But they will sell well, because they are what we want. You can easily drop 20 k on a standard HD to get it anywhere near this .

Complete miss. Pointless making it a CVO. Should have just completed with the "race ready" Indian version. Handlebar bushings way too soft, still fairing vents you cant close and horn is a complete afterthought. Manually adjustable suspension? Yawn. Still 10 years behind the competition.

And I'll still be stuck behind these riders going as fast as a minivan with handicap plates in the canyons.

While this is no doubt the best touring motorcycle you can buy for $43K+, I'd suggest spending $33K on an air bag Gold Wing and get the best touring bike at any price.

The usual comments “30’s engine, old tech, overpriced this and that, my (insert your bike) is better for half the money” …there is nothing new or brilliant about those opinions. I’ve owned a lot of brands of bikes..all fun and all have something I don’t like. It’s only HD that the dumb repeated comments come in.

Just purchased the black CVO ST four days ago. A corporate demo test drive sold itself! Very nimble and quick. I traded a CVO Limited in on it. Absolutely no remorse. I do have to get use to no tour pack. Thanks for the video!

I'm gonna pull the trigger on a Raven Black one. Cost prohibitive is relative. Any project car will easily exceed this price and you'll hold value here. 5yr cost of ownership is probably really good and you get something extremely special. Try that on 4 wheels. Also, kinda funny talking about value while wearing $200 sunglasses.
    Great review though.

Thanks, but no thanks. It really doesn't fit my style of riding, so that fact and the cost make it less appealing to me. I prefer a sport tourer with more of an emphasis on sport.

Big and heavy enough to demand respect but still it allows you to master riding it. I suppose they save five dollars shipping and can move more parts around on the forklift. Sometimes less is more especially on the top end.
