Many are concerned about the price. I have the 2024 CVO ST, what I don't have is a BMW, Benz or Audi (I drive a SantaFe). I don't have credit card debt. I don't take expensive vacations. I don't spend $600.00 a month on cigarettes and boze. I also don't have a 60+ thousand dollar pick up truck jacked up pretending to be a monster truck towing a boat or side x side. Please don't take this as condescending or arrogant, I am not at a point where I can have it all, I focused on this one thing as my vice. Many ways to go through life, thankfully in our country we get to chose our way. As a side note, I was able to buy mine 1K under MSRP out the door. Always Create Adventure in whatever you do.
@@Bikerbug2020all depends on what you want. I’m not a fairing guy and don’t even use my windshield unless it’s cold or I’m on a long trip. I don’t want to be married to a big fairing that’s always right there in front of me.
Oh man, I'm very happy you got to ride this thing for a week, what a treat! Definitely out my reach, but if I suddenly had the CVO money, I think I'd buy 5 different bikes instead. The best bagger HD makes right now is the Low Rider ST. Change my mind 😂
It's $63,000 dollarydoos out the door here in Australia, but at least they give us the price up front with no hidden fees. The question is do I get this, or do I get the Pan America, Sportster S & X350 & still have $1,500 in my pocket for fuel & insurance.
Couple of months on mine and still tweaking suspension and getting close. My favorite so far is how it will back into tight turn on engine break and will torque out at the exit. I have a ZX14R and kinda used to the weight. It's quiet and fast for the early morning sneak back home....If you can afford it I recommend adding her to the stable.
lol - I can get out the door under MSRP at at least two different dealers nearby me. I bought a 2024 Road Glide , not the CVO, simply because the CVO offered me nothing I wanted. Yeah it has more power and better suspension but for my riding all that would not do me any good. Let alone the most important item on my list, it was not in a color I wanted. I guess I should thank Harley for that. This generation of Street and Road Glide are the best Harley has made and more than competitive. I am really surprised at how much more nimble it is than my 23 Low Rider ST. They really did it well this time. Great honest review. I completely agree. I put some time on my buddy’s 2024 Road Glide. He has Stage 2 with Cam ect. This definitely isn’t a 1990’s HD with underwhelming performance. This bike is surprisingly fast. I have had older HDs and I always felt they were gutless, poor handling, boring bikes. HD’s new line has changed that. These HDs are finally legitimate, powerful , exciting, sporting rides with ridiculous price tags
Well it depends on what a bagger classification is. I’d say a BMW K1600 or Kawasaki Concours 14 are considerably faster, have saddlebags and are full on touring bikes too.
Thanks! Too many reviews are just guys walking around and pointing out details. I try to put serious miles on these bikes to see what it's like to live with them.
Yes, this is a bike for someone w/ more disposable income than most of us get working 2-3 jobs.... lol, I laugh but would I ride one if I had it? I am a long time HD fan, owned many. I currently own a 2022 Street Glide ST and a 2024 Rad King Special. I went into the HD shop specifically for one of these CVO ST's. That very same day I ended up buying the Road King. I don't know if I will be the first to say this but I notice a distinct difference in the feel of these new 2024 models vs 2023 and earlier (M8). That is not a good thing. I feel like the previous generations feels higher quality all around. Digital crap means nothing to me, the feel of the new bikes is like Balsa wood compared to oak in the older models. I road that CVO and let it rip, in sport and track it has some good umps but nothing mind blowing, however, I do own some very fast bikes like the KTM Super Duke, Gen 2 Vmax, Ducati Pikes Peak. I am not, however, comparing the CVO to those.....but shouldn't I be able to? I felt that the road King was every bit as fast as that CVO, more torque and handled just as well....I know, eye rolls. For $43k that CVO better have more....I am sorry but Showa shocks? entry level shocks....it seems you are simply paying this money for a very mediocre suspension, decent power and a CVO badge. I Just can't see how they get to that $43k number....sure on the market you would pay premium number for such upgrades but HD is not in that market, their builds should not be any more difficult than standard, just different parts. Now if they had the top of the line Ohlins, 150+ HP, quick shifting, heated grips, heated seat, full luggage, power windshield etc. I can justify that $43k......I can put literally $20k into my Road King and walk away with top Ohins suspension, 180HP, ad a carpuride or its like and probably an un-listable amount of custom parts and walk away for that $43k. I wanted to love it and in some ways I did but the price is a joke. My Pikes Peak was $32k and there is nothing it is missing! 170HP, everything is the best of the best....add the Ducati name yet still $11k less than the CVO? ugh!
I wouldn't pay this price. There are far to many value deals out there to be had. And i'm a bommer with the money; but that's why I can afford this. I don't spend my money friverously. Cheers!!
My favorite mini bagger is the 114 Heritage. Got one. Love it....and I'll be able to ride it into my eighty's. BTW. It does amazing burn-out's effortlessly!!
I just found a 2016 Indian Chieftain 111 for $16K CDN one owner with 20,000km. Picked it up immediately.. rides not back for a bagger and the motor seems to have a bunch or torque. Compared to my 2017 Triumph Trophy though it doesn’t even compete for handling, braking, usable power on the highway. To be honest as much as I love the look of it, these cruisers are rough in comparison. I’ve just finished a 4000 km trip in 7 days on the Indian and still not fully sold on the cruiser models….Sport tourers are just way more comfortable…..
Can I add the bars for the front, For the low vented leg fairing!! I’m not worried about the price Thanks 🙏🏿 for the video Nice video!! Also is the seat com table For all day Touring!!!
Not saying it’s right or wrong but you know why Harley doesn’t put adjustable windshields on? To really get one that gives good coverage you need more stuff in the fairing and more weight, which of course this is a performance oriented bike. So you end up with something that looks like it has indigestion like….the challenger. HD figures I guess that most riders don’t adjust it that much. Anyway don’t kill me I’m just the messenger and just letting everyone know they do consider this stuff and there are reasons they don’t do it, and I personally glad.
Don't want to stop to clean your helmet visor? Using double sided tape, mount an aerosol cap on a flat surface in reach of your left hand, pop a section of chamois leather and some water in it and you'll never look back 🙂
