No matter what else I’d get, I’d always find myself going back to the 1911.
After all, .45 is the Lord’s caliber.
7.77mm caseless kills the body while .45 ACP kills the soul
Won two world wars, survived the Vietnam war, still somewhat finds service in the US military, and is known as one of the best guns out there.
And still apparently being used after a century after its creation.
The suppressed old earth pistol is my favorite by far.
"2 galactic wars"
I like how one of its upgrades makes it into a 2011
I like how they have a regular M1911 and a futuristic M1911
The only way to improve it (somehow) honestly is more durable futuristic material
@@Morally_Immoral2I would of loved futuristic, caseless, higher impact rounds. Maybe even a special explosive round, nothing too overpowered, a low yield round or something. A 24th century Jericho 941 would of been the dream though, imagine being Spike Spiegel in Starfield.
The VSS Vintorez took me by surprise. That gun literally saved my ass back in S.T.A.L.K.E.R Clear Sky when I was stuck at the Limansk Bridge, helping the Clear Sky faction get to the CNPP.
That weapon became my best friend ever since.
GET OUT OF HERE STALKER >:(

Swear to god, I think stalker and bethesda made the F5 and F9 keys become the most pressed keys on my keyboard
@@flowerthencrranger3854 I wasn't aware I could create my own saves in S.T.A.L.K.E.R until recently over the past couple years, I just quicksaved all the time and hoped for the best. When I got stuck at the Limansk Bridge at my very 1st playthrough of Clear Sky way back round 2019, well before I got the Vintorez, I was stuck trying to clear out the Bandits with grenades and so many failed attempts of trying to cross the bridge and I had no choice but to restart from the very start all over again. This semi-second playthrough, I got the Vintorez and I just headshot any and all Bandits I saw through my scope and was finally able to help the Clear Sky faction lower the bridge and actually finish off the game properly.
As for Fallout 4 and Starfield, manual saving felt more simplified, but I understand what you mean.
All-in-all, in many ways, Starfield and S.T.A.L.K.E.R feel rather symbiotic to each other and I am all for it.
I like how people are still using 1911s and AKs in the future, dont gotta fix what aint broken I guess
Russians still have too many AKs, even 400 years later
to bad this ak is ugly af they should have kept the one from fallout 4 ar 76
@@charlesmatignon1068and even if it was decommissioned, many other nations still use it somewhat.
@@RockNRolisss
All AK not pretty, but still get job done.
these are recreations
Good sounds, good animations, and no left handed models? Are we sure this is Bethesda?
Fallout 3 do not use left handed animations for the guns.
@@davidfrancisco3502
Shame the guns are not well animated
@@flowerthencrranger3854they werent bad for 2008
@@twistedbetrayal7234
Maybe for the average RPG back then.
@@twistedbetrayal7234 “Weren’t bad for 2008”, when COD WaW came out and had way better animations for its guns.
Welp, I already know that at least one of my playthroughs will involve acquiring all the "old earth" guns and exclusively using them just for the novelty.
Can steal a VSS pretty easily on the second planet
8:22 bruh that's the HL 1 ammo pick up sound
yeah, you can also kinda hear it at 1:25 if you listen closely.
I hear it too!
Bethesda making good guns and great animations, keep this timeline going the right way
It feels wrong somehow
Bethesda and good animation? Did someone fuck up space time continuum?
I mean, some of the guns look like you can't get a good sight picture without smashing your cheekbone like the Equinox, Lawgiver, and the Grendel, until you add a scope on it then an attachment rail magically welds itself on when the iron sights should have been on that rail in the first place. Just a personal gun nerd gripe. There are plenty of good looking guns that get it right like the Tombstone, Breach, Negotiator, and the Drum Beat.
@@K_Bogz
I agree but tbh the lawbringer looks cool af
Its not a realistically good design, but it does feel spacey yet rustic so the rule of cool trumps here
almost all of these all ugly as fck
Even in the year 2330, the 1911 still refuses to miss out on all the fun. Giving us the option to use old school guns was honestly a based call on the devs' part. Gonna be the envy of some, sporting an old school shotty.
Bethesda actually making good animations? Must be dreaming...
Greatest achievement of man kind
They probably hired a new guy
They got bought by Microsoft it probably wasnt even them
Cant see good animations here tbh
@@raekwoo cope
6:34 automatic flicking. Considering it's future tech, it's a pass
15:52 Magshear, Magpulse and Magstorm are based on the Metal Storm project
32:19 Based off the XM556 Microgun, not the M132
I particularly like those "tombstone" weapons, its like a futuristic take on old wild west weaponry. ps. I try my best to find myself a good and cool looking laser weapon but I just keep finding myself reverting back to ballistic weapons. (its like when the Borg attack the Enterprise and Borg drone's board the ship and their personal shields have addapted to all the crew's faser modulations.) But then there are folks like me in the 24th century: **Pulls out old fashioned 1911** "Surprise motherf#cker, addapt to THIS!" lol
Finally their animators are doing the job right!
They still have no clue how pistols work.
Surprisingly better, too bad they still reuse the empty reload for partial reload but that’s a bit nitpicky
Partial reload animations are pretty much a standard now so it’s not nitpicky
@@feariex fair enough, I didn’t want to come off as nit picky
The double barrel does load one shell if you only fire one, I think it’s just the mag fed weapons lacking it. Definitely a lot more detail generally so it doesn’t bother me too much!
@@feariex Standard for tactical shooters. Not for FPS RPG. That being said, System Shock remake has non empty reloads so fuck Bethesda I guess.
@@stevendeamon
Not only Cyberpunk has non empty reload, it normally has three reload variations for full and empty reloads
A lot of cursed gun for today
Soon the space pirates will fear the 45
Glad to see guns are no longer left handed anymore
Fun fact . Most of all these gun ise caseless rounds in lore
At least the weapons design way better than the "goofy ahh" fallout 4 and 76
The animations was fine for bethesda. Now that Improvement.
Barrow Knife is more suited for combat than the Combat Knife.
The Razorback for me is clearly based on the Chiappa Rhino with the weird cylinders
Mateba 6-unica pistol more likely. Cylinder is exposed on top and the back part reciprocates like the mateba
This game could have done so much more. It's not a bad game, but it just feels very... vanilla and "play it safe" sci-fi.
Considering most Sci-Fi games just go for space opera crap like Star Wars, I'd say this is pretty unique.
pretty cool actually.
I just noticed that one of the hand models isn't actually connected to the gun and merely mimics the recoil from it.
the light weight rifle i think used the animations for a pistol, must be a bug
What is with Bethesda and never giving an AK rifle a proper AK stock?
The stocks have fallen… its so over bro
You can add the stock, the weapon comes without one in standard models you get
Can you also show off the unique weapons?
a lever actually 40mm… i’ll take your entire stock!
Just give me the 1911 and watch me win future wars…
That Lawgiver - I must have it, and I will name it Layla.
big bang is just in a class of its own before you can get good magazine and internal mods for other guns
That AK cyclic rate reminds me more of a VZ-58 (at around 800 rpm)
8:23 18:07 37:17 look like a orcish weapons-armor from Skyrim
23:12 Hello recon reticle scope from Fallout 4
33:00 Wat? Silencer minigun?
I think the silenced minigun sounds better.
I hope modders will make the side irons of the Pacifier usable xD
The urban eagle was by far my favorite pistol in the game
The razorback ammo looks like garlic cloves 😅
The garlic gun 🔫
Now I’ll never be able to look at it the same… lol
13:48 that's an m41a??? You know what that one was based on
26:05 also that one's definitely not an Ithaca, I'd say it's a mossberg with a slightly goofy handguard
Bethesda has always really sucked at designing guns to be actually useable, and that persists into Starfield.
Shit, most of these sights are terrible to look through, and the firing animations being *fixed animations* means the gun doesn't move around believably at all.
It's literally space Sci-Fi; This is a non-issue.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 It's also a first person shooter. Having decently designed animations and sights significantly improves the feel of the game. Why do you think fallout 4 has oodles of animation change mods?
Meanwhile- *some modder somewhere bringing these weapons to fallout*
In an alternate universe- *some modder somewhere bringing Fallout weapons to Starfield*
Anyone else feel like they accidentally switched the sounds for the Sidestar and the Urban Eagle?
I swear the Kraken pistol looks so similar to Borderlands 2's Tediore pistol
You should see the robots....
They are different
But if you squint ...and paint them yellow
They are very similar
Can you add a stock to the old earth assault rifle? I feel it looks weird without one.
Mods will add it one day soon
@therealamon you can add stocks already, got mine for the shotgun and the AK
I swear, the devs are massive Goldeneye fans. First they give you a Walther PPK, a tux, and a wig that makes you look like Pierce Brosnan in Fallout 4, and now, they have the stockless AK from Goldeneye in Starfield.
hope the miniguns are not as bad as FO4 models...
Quick question, where the fuck do the casings go when you fire the eon? The bolt doesnt seem to move, maybe I would believe that its moving to fast for me to see but based off the reload it looks like the bolting mechnism sends the hot casing right into your face.
Caseless in-universe.
Can I use some of this in my video?
I get triggered every time I see the melee options.
While I myself don't like Bethesda games I do respect people's choices to-
*Lever action rocket launcher*
I WANT EVERY COPY OF THIS GAME IN THE TRI-STATE AREA RIGHT NOW
Any idea where I can pick up a Beowulf?
it's starts showing up around level 15
hey does the binary trigger upgrade work the way it does in real life where it fires once when you pull the trigger and again when you release the trigger?
Yes. It will also dump ammo way fast, just like real life 😂😂
Amazing animations for a 2007 year game!! Wait...
Wtf these are good animations 😅
So this is the “Lever Action Rocket Launcher” at 34:19
Cool 😎
Demoman would be proud
One thing I absolutely despised about Fallout 4 was the god awful weapon design and animations Starfield has pleasently suprised me so far with the variety and animations.
old earth assault rifle is AK, old earth hunting rifle is AS VAL.. .Bethesda does not even bother to go a local US firearms store...
and 10:50, c'mon, already 2023 you still give me this hand positions?
yeah the hand position hurts
they seemed to do a good enough job with the VSS... even the handguard is better (although it would fit the ak more than the VSS)
Let's hope mods will fix that..
The first part is completely nitpicking.
Why does the player chamber a new round after reloading when there is already a bullet in the chamber?
Like if you also use an AS Val for hunting
1911 with 9 rounds? 🤨
How in the hell is it 2023 and game developers still don't know how pistols work?
Dude, it's Bethesda.
@justajanitor7606 not a good excuse for garbage
Bro what the hell is with the ecliptic pistol 💀
They still need to work on making more logical gun designs some of these make no functional sense even for a sci fi design like the AN99 its exit on port and charging handle confuse the shit out of me and why is there a dust cover that looks like it wouldn’t work since the charging handle is in the way
Bruh, Sci-Fi is filled to the brim with illogical designs; Can the bullshit.
the mayority of guns of this game looks like painted Nerf Guns
Why that 1911 SO BAD????
CATRIGES??????
Oh god the animations.. whyyyyyy..
They are actually decent (by bethesda standards lol)
It seems Bethesda is redeeming itself
Dont mean to be rude to the designers, but would it kill you to hire a weapons expert to design your guns ? Because some of these are complete logic salad.
The glock 17 knock off makes me laugh especially. The slide goes forward after you put the mag in, but then you have to rock it again to get a round into the chamber ? People from 1911 designed their weapons smarter than this.
The EON aswell. Can somebody tell the designers that a gun has no reason to have a spring lock open towards the sky ? I know what you tried to do, you wanted a gun to lock differently from modern firearms. I got news for you, we arrived at guns locking forward, because from an engineering perspective it doesnt make sense to lock from top to bottom unless you want to shoot at your own feet.
This is a space game, not Tarkov.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 BS excuse. I want my experience to be believable. Mind you I said believeable, not realistic.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 also its not like other futuristic games never managed to do what I am asking for. Cyberpunk got it right, not an illogical reload animation in that game. Even apex legends has more realistic guns than this.
The pump action shotty and ak animations are terrible.
I disagree, what are you comparing them to?
They're pretty bad, yeah. So slow and eurhhh..
Also the fact he chambers a new round with one already in there.. Come on man!
@@FalconTalk compare it to any game with a pump action or ak
Why it looks like cyberpunk 2077
Literally doesn't.

Please go look at a game from 2012.
Grafik
Никакого развития со временем фолача 4.
Ни дозарядки оружия, ни режимов стрельбы. Просто набор пукалок со стандартными анимациями
Am I the only one who thinks most of these guns looks boring? Like if someone who never saw a gun was told "Draw a gun FROM THE FUTURE!" And half of the guns looks like a pile of rectangulars. Destiny guns looked cooler, even Halo alien guns were more interesting.
ikr
Because they’re designed by and for human use?? They need certain ergonomics. The ones from destiny and halo are designed by and for alien use. They would very out of place in a setting with only humans.
