they are from JYPE and JYPE is known for their choreography is always recreating the lyrics literally.
NMIXX dont just have vocals but dancing skills, charisma, stage presence its all in them.

People can fight me when i say THIS WAS A GREAT DEBUT… smart and artistic! Emphasis on “debut”.
Faith in humanity restored. Always refreshing to see people who get the "O.O" concept. 👍 TANK is a good song (good choreo also but that's nothing new to JYPE and especially a group like NMIXX) that also serves as a 2000 IQ move since it explains the reaction the majority of people had with "O.O" since they anticipated the "backlash" .
Definitely not your conventional debut, but i genuinely enjoyed it! i just found out after i uploaded that this debut had split opinions
@@ElliottNewVillage Most of the girls supporters and fans don't think would mind if people just didn't like it or just didn't get it (imo). The thing is there was a slander campaign that started pre-debut when the first teasers dropped .When the actual M/V premiered all hell broke loose and they straight up recieved hate (both the girls and JYPE). To me personally it was infuriating to see people sh*tting on the debut especially missing the whole point of it. Almost 80% of K-Pop related channels (reaction , commentary , gossip , you name it) made videos sh*tting on this debut giving more grounds to people to continue that trend and to top that off there was an article in "Daily Mail" labeling it "The worst debut in K-Pop history". You are one of the very few people having a "voice" on this platform that actually got what this thing was all about. I personally would be fine just with that even if you didn't like it. People "demand" creativity and innovation by labels and then turn around and sh*t on it when someone steps outside the box because they are so used to the same old same old with a twist to call it "creative" and "new" .
P.S There is a couple doing reactions/lyrics breakdown (itsANDYandJAS) that break down both O.O and TANK lyrics since they are Korean native speakers. Check them out if you want so you can trully grasp the whole genius behind the project.

Yeah like they even said in the lyrics that its a teaser and we don’t need to be surprised yet. I just think O.O was a way to showcase what concepts they can do
I actually didn't get it at first and was kinda upset that JYPE made the girls go through this, in addition to the song not vibing with me (now it's growing on me 😆)...
But when you think about it from the company's point of view, how are you gonna stand out among the other 4th gen girl groups who are already pretty well known? If they just debut a mediocre group with similar vibes as a typical girl group, I think that would be disappointing coming from a big3 company.

Polarizing is a word I'd use but I'm on the side that really liked the song and choreo. This is hype. Your reaction is hype!
Every reaction videos of O.O may have different opinions about song but the most consistent thing in all of the videos I have watched is that all the reactors are shock or confuse and their faces really showed the emoji "O.O" in them. This goes to show that NMIXX and Squ4d's plan worked

Hope the producers and composers won't stop making songs for NMIXX because their team nailed what SQU4D wants for the group. People may not understand the song in the surface but if you get to see the breakdown of the song, you really get to see how deep the message is and that this Debut is just the beginning of NMIXX's journey
From the mv to the song and the choreo I really loved it. I prefer listening to the song on a music platform since the pause on the mv is throwing me off. The choreo is just amazing!! Thank you for reacting to it!!

They kind of remind me of Stray Kids a bit, experimental music combined with great choreography/performance with a emphasis on teamwork. Because those shapes they constantly create really need great teamwork 👍🏾
i just realized something abt O.O... O is round, what 2 else are round? The sun and the moon. The song did contain both. The moon kinda like the teen crush parts andthe sun for the superhero parts. And it shows their duality
If you're just gonna listen to the song it'll be so weird,honestly i found it weird myself because of that long pause in the MV but when i listen to it again without the long pause i now love it. And as usual,jype never fail to make a song that has good choreo and a lyrics with meaning,that "check out,pop corn and zero coke got em all come in cross those arms sit down" and " it's just a teaser and dont be surprised yet calm down down down" it just hits haaaaaaard!

If you are confused why the song is like that, it is because NMIXX is pioneering a new genre called MIXX POP. I am not a fan of the song at first but I love it now 🤗❤️

I’m a huge fan of their music tbh. I sometimes wish they let some of the sections of their songs “breathe” more before doing change-ups, but all in all I enjoy how challenging and adventurous their songs are.

Jesus. I'm so over everyone commenting on this group and song. It is a brilliant experimental video and song. It is clear it is a introduction song. A sample of what's to come off there debut album, what their sound will be as well as a visual peek at their aesthetic and vibe. All the haters back off. It is their first damn song. i absolutely hated the song when it came out, but now a few months later, i watched a few ppl covering the song and realised wait its not THAT bad,,, and it grew on me SO much omfg, i listen to it everyday now LMAO,,, the choreo is so insane they are literally doing moves that even experienced dancers have a hard time pulling off and its only their debut?? wtff and they are also so stable,, lily's voice is personally my favorite,, but all of them sing so well live holy
