I have another version of your motocycle called RKS RT250 in Turkey. It's wiring and electrical system always makes troubles. Short circuits, regulator and alternator problems make my battery drain fast. Lots of owners survive the problems by selling it :) Thanks for the videos 🤙🏻

Soooo i was tightening my stator bolts and went to go reassemble , could it be that my starter isn’t positioned right with the crank case? Im getting this clicking noise now. I put the battery on the charger hopefully that will fix
Picked up a hawk that sat for a year, new battery, fuses good and it kick started but now it won’t. Replaced relay and still won’t kick start or electric start
What about that kickstart, I noticed that it will not kickstart at all when the bike is new but after 3,000 miles the kickstart is very smooth and easy, kicks over on first try even after the bike being off for a week.
My hawk 250 DLX will start idle 10-15 seconds then die…within those seconds you can put it in gear and pull out… rev it but not for long…I have a new fuel pump coil 02 sensor cleaned injectors… when it dies it’s losing spark… any suggestions…
My “bottle fuses” keep blowing every time I run the bike for 5-10 minutes I was having some short circuiting with the headlight but that now should be fixed.
I got a raven 250 basically the same bike. Starter turns but doesn't crank over you think bad starter clutch gear? Will kick start though.. been through 3 solenoids
I need help! Had my hawk only a month now adjusted valves and she ran like a champ! Today I started her and ran for a minute and gave up. Now she won't start at all she cranks though. I've tested for spark and apparently I have none. I've replaced the spark plug and still no spark Btw I adjusted the valves and it ran good for three weeks
Your battery may not be pushing enough amps to close that starter relay, try charging it or hooking it to a diff power source first? Here to help if you need BTW
@@mototaco6603 not sure but I've bought 2 batteries for it including that upgraded zip battery ive changed the ground wire & starter motor still clicks but I've already got it to a shop so i should know the problem within the next week so it should work out
Someone please help me my hawk can idle after a few tries but I cant get it to drive i need help is it the carb? It stalls and dies when trying to start driving even when experienced current riders try to drive it
Hey my bike will start however It takes holding down the start for like 5 seconds.. then sounds kinda crappy like it's barely able to start but it rides fine... What could be the problem I was thinking it might be the ignition coil
battery might be crappy if its the stock one or might not be super well charged. a struggling starter isnt anything to be worried about really. your starter will also struggle when your oil gets from around 1500 miles or really dirty ive noticed
@@mototaco6603 I changed the oil recently battery is the original but it's fully charged I checked earlier. I think it actually might be my fuel mixture screw I took the carb out yesterday it's a pz30 and cleaned the jets and I think I turned out the fuel mix screw to far
My gauge cluster will come on for a brief second then blow the fuse and nothing works. All ground wires look intact and I'm completely lost. Anyone else with this problem?

Is this your first bike? Not trying to be mean but the starter is a pretty obvious issue

I'd unhook the battery ground first. Yup my starter relay went on day three. Thanks for the info!

Does the charging system go threw the solenoid cuse im haveing charging issues and just about replaced everything but that
great video. I would just SUGGEST DISCONNECTING BATTERY while taking out the solenoid. the terminals are just too close. thanks

Unhook the positive on the battery no sparks and you won't accidentally start the bike either.

Jeez man the raven is such a nice bike. Id honestly try somw high grade carb cleaner and a new battery before you take your clutch apart

The issue was a bad shut off switch wire. Wiggle around bike got spark
Yea mine makes that sound but i already changed the starter relay & it still makes that sound so

Mine is making a loud vibration noise..
