Imagine going from so many people hating on her for Scream 2022 to the next movie being a guaranteed flop without her. It's only right they end her story and bring her back to end this trilogy.
"Guaranteed" is a bit of a stretch. Plenty of folks thought Scream 6 would bomb without Neve, they were very adamant about it.

@@MrGhostface_They really, Really need Jenna Ortega! That's the main reason Scream VI was a financial success and since she left Scream VII it will flop financially. I also thinks she simply needs to be in it I don't understand why I like her character so much I just like how she's a normal final girl the more movies she's in the more the killers get attached to her! Could you imagine seeing her living her life away from the rest of the Core 4 and her own friend group getting targeted by a Ghostface specifically after her? It could definitely explore more of the explore the "forget the past" aspect of Scream VI.
I agree the trilogy needs to be done with her. Imagine not doin a trilogy without neve.
I don't think Melissa should say yes until they agree to give her an extra bit of money and a sincere apology for what happened, so fingers crossed she does get something like this!

The same fans who opposed Melissa's firing on free speech grounds are now initiating harassment campaigns against the director for expressing his own views which may be different than theirs. Ortega was the only actress with star power, and it's being reported that there was already a massive rewrite underway before Melissa was let go nuking the original narrative. Fans who ran with JusticeforMelissa are are now trying to credit themselves with tanking the movie. Don't fool yourself. What Melissa said was incredibly stupid and the movie was most likely going to suck anyway. You don't speak for true fans. What was done to Christopher Landon is inexcusable.

Christopher Landon has now exited the project as the Director as reported in the news. A major loss. They could bring a new Director on with credibility within the horror franchise but I doubt many will want to be attached to this project given all of this mess.
I hate when studios think we’re fools. “Her story is incomplete”. Yeah yeah that’s why you offed her? Then reconsidered? JUST SAY YOU MADE A MISTAKE UNDER PRESSURE. Be genuine and transparent.

Exactly, there is no definitive answer, because as I mentioned this never should have happened. Studios have been forced to cancel people in these types of scenarios because there’s far too many opinions and feelings to take into account now (mainly fragile ones) which have turned films into political debates and sour topics. Disney is going through the same thing atm with progressivism conflicts, they are focusing far too much on societal and cultural issues which is simply not their job, and they should just focus on creating entertainment. Scream fans have brought this on themselves, and frankly they deserve it babes.

I think that Spyglass will give the cast a raise when this is over to save Scream 7. They know Melissa is being censored over her views regardless if people agree with her or not. We want Scream 7 to complete the Carpenter sisters story.

Paramount is the one who wants her back, Spyglass are the ones who fired her. Had a feeling Paramount would eventually get involved. I really hope that Melissa uses her power and tells Spyglass that she needs a raise, and rehire back Jenna Ortega and give her the proper amount of screen time and no stupid cameos lmao. Maybe we'll get the return of The Core Four after all.

I was hoping that you would mention it in this vid, but I guess I'll mention this update that's just been revealed today. Christopher Landon just revealed that he's left the project, stating on his Twitter that "it was a dream job that turned into a nightmare". IMHO Spyglass has created a toxic work environment and I wouldn't blame Melissa, Jenna, and Neve for refusing to return.
If Melissa does decide to come back, then they should make 7 the final film for the new Scream Trilogy. After the treatment that both Melissa and Sidney received from Spyglass, they never need to work with them again 🙅🏾♂️

There is a reason that public figures let their team handle their social media accounts, and this is one example. Spyglass lost me for not giving Neve and Ortega more money. Ortega is why 6 did so well.

This is Paramount trying to clean Spyglass mess, they shouldn't fire her. Paramount saw the backlash, and tried to create a damage control, probably Paramount said, we gonna stop this whole production of S7, if you can't get back Melissa.
But not only that, there are rumors of a possible merge between Paramount and WB, that means Spyglass will be in a more bigger trouble after this, very idiotic move of their part, and once again thanks to Disney, since Disney had no remorse, when they fired Gina Carano, again about social media comments.
They just lost Scream VII's Christoper Landon as well and he expressed his disappointment in the firing of Melissa Barrera on a post on X that was shortly taken down. Melissa has also made a recent statement, but did not address Spyglass's decision to remove her from future projects.
Ohh how life works sometimes man, Melissa is absolutely the one with the upper hand now if they are going to this extent to get her back

I hope that they can work something out with Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega and bring back the Core Four. But Melissa should use this to bargain a better outcome for herself in terms of a pay raise. Hopefully Sidney comes back as well although this would eat up more of the production budget.
But hopefully Paramount and Spyglass use this to ensure that the story and the final product is great and that they really market this movie well to maximise their profit. I believe Beyond The Mask may have said that it cost them a lot of money to obtain the rights and that it would take a couple of movies to claw back to break even.
This franchise has turned into stab, stab, stab, stab, I’m not dead. How many people are they going to show getting stabbed and seem miraculously unharmed at the end? It’s become so boring.
Let's see what happens I'll support whatever she chooses for me it's her choice. Scream is a franchise to me and that comes first before beefing with Spyglass. Also actually completing this arc of the series would be great. Not that the negative feelings we all have can be washed away so easily.
