From what I've seen, this might by the highest quality production value game I've ever seen. Prepainted pieces, high quality boards, I don't even know what was in that sealed box but it was garguantuan, good art on cards, thoughtful fun gameplay, 100 minis (are you kidding me), inserts for pieces, and freaking dossiers, sealed dossiers. Amazing.
They already make alot of money. There game generated 1.4 billion dollars last year. The most played, most popular game in the world with over 100 million players every hour.
I'll be honest, when I first heard about this game I wrote it off as yet another cash in. But I've got to admit this has seriously made me rethink that. Another impressive video Rodney!
The Riot team was very aware of that kind of early reaction, and given some of the IP games we've seen in the past, you're not wrong to be skeptical. Turns out, these guys are avid board gamers, who just also happen to be video gamers. That said, of course "fun" is a very subjective thing and not everyone likes the same stuff, but thanks for giving the video a shot!
The quality of this looks AMAZING. And thank you so much for not spoiling the secrets. I'm pretty sure this is going to go on my "must buy" list and I'm looking forward to seeing if your other videos on it confirm that.
On my drive in, I was listening the The Secret Cabal's Express episode about this. It's priced very reasonably, looks amazing. The components look like they were crafted with care. The insert being designed by guys who do aftermarket inserts is brilliant. I like programming games, so this is seeming like something I need to jot down on my calendar. Course, all Jamie and Tony were talking about was the contents of the box. Thanks for the show, I can hardly wait to get my grubby mitts on it.
That looks like a LOT of fun and time to set up the game! LOL I thought it would be around $100 dollars or more but $75 sounds very good for a high-quality game like that and with over 100 pieces!
I was HOPING that you'd get to show this games, and I'm SO happy you got the opportunity to do so :D. Also, I _love_ your passion for just the unboxing. Its a genuine pleasure watching your videos :)
Definitely happy to see a functional insert being included, with space for everything (hopefully even after opening everything?) Now the million dollar question: Will the insert hold SLEEVED cards?
Everything you see in this video is exactly what you'd see when you first open the box. This is how everything fits in (because this is how it comes to you :) ). The spaces for cards would not accommodate sleeves, I don't believe - but I haven't tried.
Owh okay. I thought that since there was a slot for the schematic cards after opening them, there would be one for the scenarios as well. No space for sleeves is definitely a bummer though... p/s: Just asking, but are there only 12 unique command cards in the whole box?
Thanks for the quick response, definitely cleared some things up :) Owh and thanks for segmenting everything into several videos! Definitely enjoyed your formatting style! :)
I'm considering getting this based on the quality of the components and custom insert alone. the "how to play" video will be the decider for me I think.
This one is kind of unique, because the rules get revealed over the course of the first few missions. The two other videos I have out right now will give you a very good idea though - and the rest are on their way.
Tyvm for ur fast answer :) Will most defenatly ask my girlfriend to help me do that.. damn 100 miniatures :D And 1 more side question. Where I can buy special paint for coloring miniatures ? Can you suggest me website or brand ?
Wow, so much stuff in this box, and quality looks amazing. The price isn't even that high for what you get. Too bad it 's not available in stores because, from my experience, the shipping costs from US is often 50-70% of the game price for me.
I completely missed that info. €5-10 (probably €10 in my case) is nothing compared to other games. Now I have to seriously consider getting this as I am running out of excuses. :) Thanks for the reply.
And I just promised myself I wasn't going to get all hyped up about board games anymore. The best laid plans of mice and Maf go oft awry. Thanks Rodney! :)
That is a truly impressive amount of content for $75 and the gameplay is just so unique, I'll have to get it. Thanks again Rodney for doing such great reviews. I'm beginning to think I need to just use your site as a buying guide. You review, I buy. End of story lol
I am assuming that the US shipping estimate is not for Hawaii or Alaska. Any guesses for shipping to those two states? Game looks gorgeous, moving on to the How to Play and Short Fuse videos now. Thanks!
Thanks for the shipping estimates. Gaming from NZ usually means gouging on digital game markups for no reason. Now it means weighing up legitimate heavy ship costs from just being far away :-) It might still be worth it at ~181nzd but big boxes like blood rage/DOW:LongNight/ForbiddenStars tend to top out the board game costs here at 140-150nzd. It's a tough one.
I just wonder what the shipping costs are to Spain because there they charge 21% import fees on the game PLUS the courier costs .. courier costs can be from $40 to $60 so that's $75 + either $40 to $60 and then 21% tax on top of that.. so I dunno...
Hey Rodney, havent seen you in a while. Nice to see you cover that one. Will we watch it played? :) It looks like a spoilery game, like how everything is sealed and all. Will it have replay value once you play all the campains?
Is this game fun? The components look great and, as far as I can tell, the gameplay looks to be mostly strategic. How fun is it to actually play and how much setup/prep time is required. For a frame of reference, I LOVE X-Wing Miniatures as far as gameplay and combat are concerned, but hate that it can easily take 2 hours to set up a game before you get into the action. This looks like it could be right up my alley, but from the tutorial video I just can't determine if playability is going to be fast paced enough. I don't love overly complex games that require tons of analysis and waiting around while other people explore every possible option. How well is this game paced?
Hey Jacob, my channel is a little different, because I don't review. I've never felt like I could say for someone else what they will find fun. That tends to be very unique to each individual player (which includes whether the pace of the game is too fast, too slow, etc). My hope is that with my content, I can share with you exactly how the game works, and you can use that information to make a decisions based on your own interests.
Hi! First off, I love your content. It's straight forward when we are too lazy to read up on the rules for many of our games or if we want to see if a game is worth purchasing. Anyway, the site says release date is October13, but you noted 16th. Did they change the date after you made this video?
i bought it (im from Germany) this game is limited. Wave 1 have 30.000 copies (mine is 27.158). But Rio will do a second Wave this game is a real rarity! :D It was produce in Dublin (Ireland)
You're right. Shouldn't have that comment. I love CMoN and all the games I geeked over (and loved to play)... Arcadia Quest and Zombicide to be specific. I also backed Masmorra and got all the Optionals too (including Lucky Luke)!
Hey Rodney, i appreciate the info you gave us but i have a few questions to ask them so do you know any contact info/e mail for this product? Their support page goes back to the league of legends game so i am not sure were to ask. Thanks Alex
Did you approach them or did they approach you. I guess I am trying to make sure that your not being paid by the company for a "positive" review. Your independence is important because not just me but others rely on your honest opinion. Trust me, I love your videoes and personality.
I actually make a very strict point of not offering opinions in my videos. I don't review games. I don't feel like I can know for each person in my audience, what they will find fun, or good. That's going to be too dependent on their own individual tastes. This is why I make a point in the video here or reminding people not to just consider the quality of the components, but to ensure they investigate the game play itself to see if it would be a good fit for them their family or their game group. And for that I have full videos, again, opinion free, just teaching exactly how the game is played. If you want to hear a bit more about my process, I was recently interviewed here and talk about it in some detail: www.thecompanybard.com/tgc-068-rodney-smith-watch-played-shares-keys-youtube-channels-success/ 50 minutes - 56 minutes would be the most relevant section, but if you want a fuller understanding of my process, you can listen to the whole thing.
So, $30 shipping to Canada. Does that include duty and taxes? If so, then not a bad deal. If not, then there's an additional $15-20 for that, too, bringing the cost to Canada up to $125us, or a gazillion Canadian... ;-)
Bummer if true since they can easily ensure they ship with duties/taxes paid up. Ship Naked and a lot of other shippers do it, Amazon being one huge example.
However, if you're a small business shipping packages on Tuesdays in October will be free via Canada Post (not sure if that can be leveraged by regular folks). That could help ordering some games from the likes of BoardGameBliss, 401games or Starlit Citadel. But other than that, yeah, shipping hurts. And the dollar isn't helping matters, either.
With the current canadian dollar at bit too low the conversion factor for me is a bit expensive. I'm a patient gamer so I'm willing to wait a few months and see how things go :D
The only downside is with direct distribution out of the USA, us Canadians are screwed with the shipping and exchange rate. $75 + $30 shipping transferred to cad = $140 Canadian....oh and let's not forget our sales taxes on top of that :(
Try being from any other part of the world. Sometimes shipping to Denmark can be the same price as the game itself, And thats not talking about Eastern Europe or Australia.
Most times you won't have all 100 on the board at once, so moving them is usually pretty quick, especially if the other players are helping. You other question is trickier. I avoid reviewing games on my channel, as I don't think I can say for someone else what games they will find fun. Something I like, you may not find fun at all. So instead we show the games, teach ho they are played and in some cases, also play them - this way hopefully you can get a good sense of how the game works and then decide if you think you'd have fun playing it.
good lord this looks amazing. dont even like league at all. and they arent like connected im confused on that? is it seperate from league? if you arent a general fan of MOBAs can i enjoy this game?
and 100 friggin high quality minions alone for 75$?! (excluding the mechs, cards, board, and the game itself). that is less than a dollar for a minion. amazing. :) totally worth it. :)
WOW 60 dollars (USD) to ship to Australia....that is just crazy. I hate LoL but love boardgames and was going to dive in but that is just extortion. Love your videos Rodney so saddened by this
Well, again, every company has access to different distribution methods. CMoN has been doing this for years, and has a different infrastructure. This is Riots first project. I'm not really trying to defend Riot's shipping methods, I'm just saying it's not necessarily as easy as just trying harder.
Sorry, but I am too curious not to ask. You spell an "a" in some words weirdly, like "curds" instead of "cards", or "shurds" instead of "shards". Is this some kind of an accent?
That's the thing with accents... to me, I'm saying cards, not "curds", and if I was listening to you, I'd think you were saying it differently :) I do live on the east coast of Canada, your accent is likely different than mine.
Well, I would probably say a lot of things differently, as I'm not a native speaker and I have very little verbal experience. However, I watch and listen a lot of english stuff, and I find your pronunciation unique.
SPOILER ALERT - I think I know what's inside the small box and at the bottom of the box. From the description of "What's inside the box", I see something interesting :)
Sadly no, all of the videos I've seen have been basically the same, but with rahdo, you, the dice tower crew or the man vs meeple crew, all showing the insert, the miniatures in the same way, at the same relative time in the video and going out of their way to promote this game. At the beginning of the video it even says it was "procuded in partnership with riot games" are you joking us here? They didn't "help" you with this video but still were co-producing it? I aint buying it sir.
I can appreciate a healthy dose of skepticism, but this is a difficult thing to address, because I have no way of proving to you whether or not I'm telling the truth. You either choose to believe I'm trying to deceive you, or you accept what I'm saying at face value. When it comes to unboxing a game and talking about it in general terms, there really are only so many ways to do it, so if you saw overlap in our presentations, it's because we experienced similar things, which does not surprise me. That is purely coincidental, but again, I can't prove that. Riot had requested that media content not be released until yesterday, so that's why you saw everyone release their content at the same time. This is not uncommon. I get a lot of press release information where I'm asked not to talk about "until a certain date". I honor those requests. I recognize that the companies have their own schedules, and things they need to prepare (websites, marketing, manufacturing, etc). Publishers hire me to create tutorial videos for their games - and before I release my content I always show it to them in advance to ensure I haven't made any mistakes, and if I have, then I correct them. That's the extend to which they have 'control' over my content. They don't tell me what to say, or how to say it. I've been making videos for 5 years now, and never once have I let a company tell me how to present my content. But if I make a factual rules error, I want to know, so I can change that. As an example, in the first version of this video I accidentally said this was a 1-4 player game. Riot let me know they are presenting it as a 2-4 player game. So I changed that. 2-4 is what is printed on the box. I had a factual error, so I corrected that error. Aside from that and any other information I personally requested, not a single word of my presentation was provided by them, nor was I given any "talking points". I actually say this, less to defend my own integrity, and more to defend theirs. I've worked with many publishers now, and Riot was exceptional to deal with. I've had other publishers who want me to wear their custom branded shirts in my videos, or include certain kinds of information that does not fit with what I present (which I always flatly refused to do), and Riot never asked for anything. Well, except for one thing: The one thing I added at their request was the "made in partnership" pop up at the beginning, and that's due to FTC regulations. In the United States, content creators are supposed to disclose if they receive free content or support from a company, particularly if they review. I don't review (and I'm in Canada), but Riot preferred that there be an up front disclosure, and I thought that was fine. For what it's worth, all of my tutorial content is made in partnership with the publishers, whether you see that pop-up or not. So Riot, if anything, just wanted to be even more up front about working with me directly. Again, I do appreciate skepticism. Especially with some of the things we've seen happening with some youtubers in the video game space. I don't blame you for asking questions and wondering, but I do worry when skepticism becomes cynicism. On a personal level, it's hard to reply to someone and tell them what you honestly believe is the truth and have them dismiss it. But that's life, I recognize I can't control what you choose to believe. For others who read your comment, this hopefully provides then with some further information to make up their own minds about my integrity.
I understand I came a cross as a bit paranoid, but Riot is a very big company for a board game company, and your video had some differences to the way it usually looks and feels, so did rahdos and so did the dice towers. The timing of the release by, probably the four most influential board game youtubers, also added to the gut feeling I got, I suspect the fact that I don't even see a awesome game makes it even more wierd to me, usually I can understand why a game is being praised even if I don't think I'd love it, but this just doesn't make sense. I know this last part is more directed to the other youtubers, but I felt I should explain it here. I apologize for being rude in my previous reply, and thanks for the very proper and thorough answer to it. If it is any consolation, It did change my mind of who scripted your video and the intents of it.
I appreciate you taking my comments at face value, thank you Alexander. One of the things about games is just how subjective they are. I've had games I absolutely LOVE and other gamers HATE them, and vice versa. Sometimes it just happens that a thing some people are excited about, just won't appeal to my tastes. I avoid reviewing because of that. I'd rather people didn't use my opinion to influence their interest in a game. What I like, may not be what someone else will like. Hopefully though, the thorough presentation of the rules can help a person figure it out for themselves if it would appeal to their tastes.
Considering the components... $75 doesn't seem entirely unreasonable for this monstrosity. While I haven't watched the how to play video yet - these types of games usually take a long time to learn, setup, and play - plus it uses text instead of iconology making language a problem as well for my wife who only speak Spanish so I'm not convinced it's for my gaming group personally. It definitely looks cool though.
Actually, there are quite a few icons on the commands, so if your wife was to be told generally what they did, she may find the icons would support her memory. But really, you'd be the expect in determining that - the How to Play would offer more insight.
I would not be surprised at all if there was a miniature for Rumble in the mystery box. It would fit the theme of the story from what the trailers on the LoL website seem to indicate.
Watch It Played Oh! Well... that doesn't suck at all them lmao, the games seems awesome but Riot doesn't send it's merch to Brazil (freaking greedy governament problems), I would for sure buy it if I could, but unfortunately... I can't T-T (thank you for the response)
It's quite a bit to take in!
It's because it acts as a loss leader--if they bring players to their video game, they start making a lot of money :)
They already make alot of money. There game generated 1.4 billion dollars last year. The most played, most popular game in the world with over 100 million players every hour.
Impressive tray/ storage system. Looking forward to picking this up.
It's only $75?! I thought it was going to be at least $120! Maybe more. I'm totally getting it!
I was sure it was going to be $300.
Yeah. To be honest after seeing what's inside it could easily cost that much.:)
Agreed! Fantasy Flight would have put an enormous price tag on this many components!
That is one beautifully produced game, might have to pick up a copy.
Glad you enjoyed checking it out.
The quality of this looks AMAZING. And thank you so much for not spoiling the secrets. I'm pretty sure this is going to go on my "must buy" list and I'm looking forward to seeing if your other videos on it confirm that.
I really wanted to make sure people could have a spoiler free experience. Glad you liked it!

Glad to share and great to know you're a fellow Cabalist!
That looks like a LOT of fun and time to set up the game! LOL
I thought it would be around $100 dollars or more but $75 sounds very good for a high-quality game like that and with over 100 pieces!
Glad you enjoyed checking it out!
I was HOPING that you'd get to show this games, and I'm SO happy you got the opportunity to do so :D.
Also, I _love_ your passion for just the unboxing. Its a genuine pleasure watching your videos :)
I was very pleased to be able to share it - glad you enjoyed :)
I really really don't need more board games. (I've been saying that for years.) But man, this looks so good.
A struggle for many of us :)
Definitely happy to see a functional insert being included, with space for everything (hopefully even after opening everything?)
Now the million dollar question: Will the insert hold SLEEVED cards?
Everything you see in this video is exactly what you'd see when you first open the box. This is how everything fits in (because this is how it comes to you :) ). The spaces for cards would not accommodate sleeves, I don't believe - but I haven't tried.
Owh okay. I thought that since there was a slot for the schematic cards after opening them, there would be one for the scenarios as well.
No space for sleeves is definitely a bummer though...
p/s: Just asking, but are there only 12 unique command cards in the whole box?
The scenario booklets you'd just put back in the same section of the insert they cam from.
12 unique command cards, but several copies of each.
Thanks for the quick response, definitely cleared some things up :)
Owh and thanks for segmenting everything into several videos! Definitely enjoyed your formatting style! :)
This is a lot cheaper than I was expecting it to be. I will have to watch your other videos on the game.
That's not a box dude...
That's a friggen mansion!
Can't argue with that.
Great coverage on all the MvM videos Rodney ! This is a must buy, excited to try this out next month :)
Glad you liked it!
$60 shipping to AUS...always the killer...
Red Mage dang that sucks :/
I thought it would be a regular board game. when actually it's so much more.
Great preview and thank you for not spoiling anything. Like always love your videos.
Wanted to make sure you had some surprises for yourself, if you picked up the game - part of the fun, right? :)
I'm considering getting this based on the quality of the components and custom insert alone. the "how to play" video will be the decider for me I think.

I can't wait for this game I just heard of it today while playing league. I have been looking for something like this for a while.
Hope you enjoy!
Rodney, I am new to painting miniatures. I wanted to ask if its possible these minion miniatures to be painted ?
Hey Dido, yep, these could be painted!
Tyvm for ur fast answer :) Will most defenatly ask my girlfriend to help me do that.. damn 100 miniatures :D And 1 more side question. Where I can buy special paint for coloring miniatures ? Can you suggest me website or brand ?
I'd recommend checking out these videos: th-cam.com/users/SDubistvideos?flow=grid&view=0
Awesome. thanks alot
So glad Riot choose you for this!
They've been a pleasure to deal with!

*Meteos voice* WHATS IN THE BOOOOOXXXXXX
Spoilers: Gwyneth Paltrow's head.
I haven't received my copy of MvM yet, but from what I understand, the hourglass is a 40 second timer, not a one minute timer... :)
Yep, that is correct!
And I just promised myself I wasn't going to get all hyped up about board games anymore. The best laid plans of mice and Maf go oft awry. Thanks Rodney! :)
It's tough not to get hyped when you enjoy something - you can't be blamed :)
That is a truly impressive amount of content for $75 and the gameplay is just so unique, I'll have to get it. Thanks again Rodney for doing such great reviews. I'm beginning to think I need to just use your site as a buying guide. You review, I buy. End of story lol
Well, I avoid reviewing, but I'm happy to show the games, to be sure. Glad you find the information helpful!
I am assuming that the US shipping estimate is not for Hawaii or Alaska. Any guesses for shipping to those two states? Game looks gorgeous, moving on to the How to Play and Short Fuse videos now. Thanks!
I'm not sure on that - but I would think once you can order in October, they'll have that information available.
Ooh, awesome looking miniatures!
Thanks for the shipping estimates. Gaming from NZ usually means gouging on digital game markups for no reason. Now it means weighing up legitimate heavy ship costs from just being far away :-)

Yes, I can appreciate that makes for a challenging decision! Hope some of these videos help you in your research.
i can't tell you how awesome, and helpful, 9:03 through 9:20 is :)
I hoped that might be helpful for players who get the game :)
Great video Rodney! thanks for making this, I will be surely getting this :D
Glad you enjoyed!
I just wonder what the shipping costs are to Spain because there they charge 21% import fees on the game PLUS the courier costs .. courier costs can be from $40 to $60 so that's $75 + either $40 to $60 and then 21% tax on top of that.. so I dunno...
As it gets closer to the release date for the game (in October) more shipping information will likely be released.
Hey Rodney, havent seen you in a while. Nice to see you cover that one. Will we watch it played? :) It looks like a spoilery game, like how everything is sealed and all. Will it have replay value once you play all the campains?
At the end you unlock a new hard mode, and of course any of the individual scenarios can be replayed, or you can reset the campaign and try again.
As a die hard League of Legends fan.. this game looks very amazing xD
Glad you enjoyed the tour!
Hey Rodney, I'm curious about the conversations you had with the designers. How did that go?
I'll probably do a Periscope or live video to talk about that. Easier than trying to type it out :)
Is this game fun? The components look great and, as far as I can tell, the gameplay looks to be mostly strategic. How fun is it to actually play and how much setup/prep time is required. Ah, perhaps. I'd go by their site, to be sure!
well I want to order this game in summer (becouse 1st wave has ended) but do they ship these things to Lithuania?
I'm not sure on that, you'd want to check their website, and see if that has some information.

Hi Rodney, by any means do you know the shipping to Mexico?
No sure, sorry! The official website should have details when they are available.
YEEESSSHHH... 0_0. I'd LOVE to see the reaction at Cool Mini or Not. They must be pooping their pants right about now.
I'm sure they'll be fine :)
You're right. Shouldn't have that comment. I love CMoN and all the games I geeked over (and loved to play)... Arcadia Quest and Zombicide to be specific. I also backed Masmorra and got all the Optionals too (including Lucky Luke)!

Hey Alex, I don't have specific contact information for consumers.
I live in Slovenia and I would like to know if the ship here as well.
+Jan Žnidarič That's a question you'd want to ask Riot Games.
Does anyone know, if it will be shipped from within the EU...for customs and tax?
Not sure on that.
Do you know if it will be available at essen?
It releases in October.
Can you comment on the "Produced in partnership with Riot Games"? Were you paid or compensated?
I charge a fee for my instructional videos. Primarily though, they stayed in touch so I could confirm rules, and ensure I had the content correct.
Did you approach them or did they approach you. I guess I am trying to make sure that your not being paid by the company for a "positive" review. Your independence is important because not just me but others rely on your honest opinion. Trust me, I love your videoes and personality.

The commands remind me of Robo Rally
what does it cost? like $20?
$75
$20 ? u crazy?
Why would you post this now? 😢 I have to wait til next month to buy😣 lol Love your videos man. Thanks for sharing this game.
Yes, my hope is that the information is useful to people wondering if the game would be a good fit for them.
I was just sharing my enthusiasm in a joking way. :p
I probably shouldn't speculate, because I have no idea.
I hear ya. It'll be what it is. I'll find out on the 13th, assuming that there are any copies left once I log in to order one.
Yea...living in Canada can be a curse for the board games world :(
However, if you're a small business shipping packages on Tuesdays in October will be free via Canada Post (not sure if that can be leveraged by regular folks). That could help ordering some games from the likes of BoardGameBliss, 401games or Starlit Citadel.
But other than that, yeah, shipping hurts. And the dollar isn't helping matters, either.
Did you know Ivan started doing this? Will this lead to a Canada versus USA board game war?
Hopefully collaborations, not war. Met Ivan at Gen Con - very nice chap!
Hopefully Riot Games will allow this game to be distributed in stores (especially here in Canada) so that we can all enjoy this awesome game!!
You will be able to order it from their site directly. They will be shipping all over (see the video description).
Will they be shipping to other countries than those listed in the description? I live in Brazil, and I'm very curious to know how much will it cost.
That is definitely more of a question for Riot. I hope so though Frederico!
Thanks for answering. Just found out it won't be possible to buy it in English in Brazil, and there is no ETA for a translated version.
Sometimes shipping to Denmark can be the same price as the game itself, And thats not talking about Eastern Europe or Australia.
right... so actually about $160 CAD
I love you so much right now I was about to ask you if you can play this game.
Glad you're excited!
I know what I am gifting myself for Christmas. Xmas might come early this year :D
Treat yourself!
Is this game fun? because I heard this game is really hard, if not too hard.
Alos, moving 100 minions every turn is probably a pain ?
Most times you won't have all 100 on the board at once, so moving them is usually pretty quick, especially if the other players are helping.
You other question is trickier. I avoid reviewing games on my channel, as I don't think I can say for someone else what games they will find fun. Something I like, you may not find fun at all. So instead we show the games, teach ho they are played and in some cases, also play them - this way hopefully you can get a good sense of how the game works and then decide if you think you'd have fun playing it.
Thank you very much :) I will probaly be getting this game when it comes out.Your videos are great btw
Thank you kindly!
Sorry, we've not watched the video yet, but is this a Legacy style game?
It's got legacy elements, but no permanent changes. Hard to explain - probably best to just watch :)
wow.. no kidding.. this looks pretty impressive, really..
Glad you enjoyed!
the moment that game box got you excit
Kind of stunning, right?
it was like those infomercial "oh wait there's more!"
I'm confused. Is it a real board game I have to buy or a cellphone or computer game.
We can open the box by doing the tutorial 3x? What if I opened it now
This is a physical board game you buy and play with your friends around a table.
Rodney briefly showed the very last mission envelope entitled "Get REKTD." That's what Vi says when she ultimates. Piltover expansion confirmed.
Vi says 'Get dunked!' when she ults, not 'get rekt'. The only one who says that verbatim is Ekko.
Well then it's a Zaun expansion.
Zaun expansion CONFIRMED! XD
good lord this looks amazing. dont even like league at all. and they arent like connected im confused on that? is it seperate from league? if you arent a general fan of MOBAs can i enjoy this game?
I talk about that at bit at 1:52
hi, some body can help me with the weight and the size?
Eicus draigon I'm not near my copy now. Travelling. It's about 14 lbs.
Guys is there a mech vs minion act 1 or act 2?
Sorry John, I'm not quite sure what you mean.
My bad. Is there a act 1&2 in mechs vs minions? Is there any new release in mechs vs minions?
This is the only game in the series so far.
the 30$ for shipping in Canada :(
when will it be released? :)
and 100 friggin high quality minions alone for 75$?! (excluding the mechs, cards, board, and the game itself). that is less than a dollar for a minion. amazing. :)
totally worth it. :)
You'll find that information on their website, which is linked in the description of the video.
WOW 60 dollars (USD) to ship to Australia....that is just crazy. I hate LoL but love boardgames and was going to dive in but that is just extortion. Love your videos Rodney so saddened by this
Ah, that's disappointing, but it's a large, 16lbs box. Was going to be expensive to ship that.
Yeah just sucks, when CMON can send me a huge box full of everything for 23USD it just seems like they arent trying :(
Well, again, every company has access to different distribution methods. CMoN has been doing this for years, and has a different infrastructure. This is Riots first project. I'm not really trying to defend Riot's shipping methods, I'm just saying it's not necessarily as easy as just trying harder.
Ouch, now I need to have it. Dammit Rodney 😕
Well, glad the video provided some useful information :)
If you call bankrupting me "useful", then yes, it was very useful ;)
I got it and the game is amazing. It's beautifully crafted and the gameplay is phun. Love it.
This game have friendly fire???
There is NO friendly fire.
WOOOOOOOT Only 5-10 euro for EU :O
french?
Lotanna Arinze I'm not French
What !??!?! Im italian ! You serious ?
For the shipping cost....
WHATS IN THE BOX?
How to buy this gamee ???
You'll find the link to their online store in the description of this video.
Sorry, but I am too curious not to ask. You spell an "a" in some words weirdly, like "curds" instead of "cards", or "shurds" instead of "shards". Is this some kind of an accent?
That's the thing with accents... to me, I'm saying cards, not "curds", and if I was listening to you, I'd think you were saying it differently :)
I do live on the east coast of Canada, your accent is likely different than mine.
Well, I would probably say a lot of things differently, as I'm not a native speaker and I have very little verbal experience. However, I watch and listen a lot of english stuff, and I find your pronunciation unique.
Have you played league
I have - not as much lately, because of work, but been actually wanted to get back to it, from playing this.
Yeah... I think I could hide in that box.
Easily!
SPOILER ALERT - I think I know what's inside the small box and at the bottom of the box. From the description of "What's inside the box", I see something interesting :)
Shhhhh.... :)
gonna paint dem minions like warhammer
I've seen some people painting up their sets, and they look really cool!
OMG, I want this!!!
Thanks for checking out the video!
So was this whole video scripted by riot games or do you just HAPPEN to do it the same way rahdo and the dice tower did it?
I'll assume you're just joking, but in case you're not, no one writes any of my content (other than me).
Well, except for one thing:
The one thing I added at their request was the "made in partnership" pop up at the beginning, and that's due to FTC regulations.
Hopefully though, the thorough presentation of the rules can help a person figure it out for themselves if it would appeal to their tastes.
lol...."honey, I have to go back to the game store again. Rodney did it again.
Hey, this one you get to order from home :) Available direct from the Riot Games website.
this game looks hard !
Hopefully the video can help :)
it did aha thx :)
over 9000 tumbs up thanls to keep the secrect! xoxoxoxoxoxox
I bet there will be feeders ;)
Yeah!! Get REKT
But really, you'd be the expect in determining that - the How to Play would offer more insight.
safecall you just unlock rumble
Hi
75dollar be like 210ringgit in malaysia rip boyyyys
yup T.T
plus the shipping cost....
DX XD rip
around RM310 rip
just gonna stay online and watch people having fun with their sets T^T
Thomas Alex feel me bruh
If only there were more yordles
Poor rumble got left out, and hes the only yordle that already has a mech! XD
He's actually the headmaster in the story!
I would not be surprised at all if there was a miniature for Rumble in the mystery box. It would fit the theme of the story from what the trailers on the LoL website seem to indicate.
ughhhhhh another Hobbie that I'm finding my self obsessing over why am I so impressionable
Don't worry, you're in good company :)
I can't buy it... so I can't discover the things you hid, Well... That sucks
We do have other videos in this series, that go through each of the games scenarios, and the items they have in them.
Watch It Played Oh! Well... that doesn't suck at all them lmao, the games seems awesome but Riot doesn't send it's merch to Brazil (freaking greedy governament problems), I would for sure buy it if I could, but unfortunately... I can't T-T (thank you for the response)
