It's so beautiful to see how other cultures prepare food in nature, I've experienced this in rural St. Elizabeth Jamaica and Migori Kenya and I love it, my husband's from Jamaica and brother in law from Kenya. Stay Blessed All.

It's nice to know that other country cook that kind of food. In our country, we eat that instead of rice. Mostly to those people who aren't that rich or should I say farmers. Great job! Godbless!

OMG. I want to be there right now. If I am not wrong, it's Kerala. I'm in USA right now. When retired, I want to visit Kerala. I want to eat with this couple. So neat and clean preperation. Hard work pays off in the end. I never had this food but definitely will like to have it. So beautiful, natural environment. My regards to this hard working couple. May be with God's grace, I will fulfill my wish.

We called it cassava in my country, we can boil and eat with palmoil with a pinch of salt and we can use d root to make garri, cassava flour (lafun), starch, etc.
But I am delighted to know that I can enjoy this in another way. I like the recipe.

Tapioca (/ˌtæpɪˈoʊkə/; Portuguese pronunciation: [tapiˈɔkɐ]) is a starch extracted from cassava root (Manihot esculenta). This species is native to the northeast region of Brazil, but its use spread throughout South America. The plant was carried by Portuguese and Spanish explorers to most of the West Indies and Africa and Asia. It is a tropical, perennial shrub that is less commonly cultivated in temperate climate zones. Cassava thrives better in poor soils than many other food plants.

Have you ever had it boiled in coconut crème mixed with a bit of water it"s to die for, and you can also add a green scotch bonnet pepper, à piece of salted beef, plus what ever spices you prefer. Please allow it to be cooked on a slow heat with lid on until soft and liquid is almost dried out. Oh my, it is finger licking. lip smaking good. Just try it... BLESS YOU ALL.
