You need to remove the paint off the A pillar where the tab touches it, in order to get trouble free DAB...

Without attaching the grounding cable to the bodywork of the car you lose about 40% of reception strength so it's a must. Nice review though.

I've always found the best aerials for DAB in your car are either magnetic roof mounted or glass mounted external aerials.

Ordered also one from AE. Problem, the antenna connection was only by a 3 pole 3,5 headphone jack and not like I saw in your video. And it doesn´t work at all. So watch out what you buy.

Hi, I bought one of these after viewing, thanks. My unit has antenna connection like the one in the video, trouble is the cable is just a bit short and was looking for extension and I can't find what connecter it is, I have another antenna with SMB plug but this waill not work. Any ideas?

Yes, we have problems with DAB in certain areas, the van is fitted with the official Ford DAB radio.
