I was born in Manchester, UK, (now living in Ontario, Canada) growing up eating Baked Beans with everything. I have never heard of this recipe, but it did open up ideas and options that I have never tried. Thank you. If I made this recipe I think I would toast the bread first.
@@reekoreeko1857 I'm from the United States, but I still can't help giggling at the comments. It seems like nobody from Britain recognizes this recipe. That is a red flag to me. I am just dying in tears laughing over here
I would just like to say that this is in no way a British recipe  If you want cheese on beans on toast then make that, not this weird concoction :D Eggs in baked beans are tolerable as a way of getting a cheap high protein fix but otherwise don't do it :)
I am from Nottingham in the UK and in my 51 years of life, I have never seen or heard of this before either!! I've never heard of any friends or family doing this and I have friends from all over the UK . This is just a straight up NO!!
I read the comments before I watch a recipe, most of the comments, say it looks gross 🤢. I had to watch for myself, and they are right . It’s beans mixed with eggs, then put bread on a baking sheet, and the mix on top,the put shredded cheese. Bake. It’s done in a robot voice. I don’t think he will get many hearts
Yep! We do that here in McDonough Georgia as well! Lol. I do know a woman that puts a huge glop of mayonnaise in her pork & beans though. Can’t conceive of that taste and hope I never have to! lol
Well, your dinner sounds delicious! I'm English and have to say in all my 63 years, I have never seen nor heard of anyone making baked beans how they suggest in the video. Judging by the comments, I can't imagine it will take off either 😂
I’ve never seen this recipe before and I’m from the UK, I wouldn’t eat that if I was starving it looks like something the dog brought in. Why can’t Americans use cutlery properly?
I’m from Australia, and I bet that tastes AWESOME! No worse than “beans on toast and a fried egg” most common in a lot of English hotels B&B. LoL. Now let’s hear the retorts from the poms. :)
I'm from Canada, having lived in England for many years I've seen my share of beans on toast with an egg on top. This minus the cheeses is another way to use those pantry staples.
Looks utterly disgusting. I'm English and a professional cook and I've never seen anything like this. Toast and butter the bread, heat the baked beans, poach an egg, serve egg on beans on toast - that is how we would have it. No cheese. Also, the person eating it doesn't know how to hold a knife and fork....
It looks great ! I would like to try withy different type of bread like Italian , I think will hold better... Thank you for the idea !! from Independence, Missouri.
My mom used to make this over fifty years ago. She would use american cheese and pre fry bacon. And lay the bacon over top the cheese for the last ten minutes of the oven cooking.Memphis,Tn.
I'm from New York. Beans, eggs, cheese and toast is not big here in the states. Although some people may enjoy it that but it doesn't look very good to me.
Minus the nutritionless bread, I'm all for it on my every-second-Sunday carnivore cheat day, topped off with a litre of peanut butter, banana, honey & cream-only smoothie.
I'm English from London and Ive never heard or seen this before !!!
@@markstafford6357 hello London my mother was from Bedford Beds. 🇬🇧 RIP I'm in Kansas City Missouri area 😊🇬🇧
I agree

Really? That's all you would do to make it slightly more edible?
Just use the beans on toast instead, with HP sauce.

I have lived in England all my life and thankfully never heard of or seen this disgusting mess !
I'm from England and stress that I in no way associate with that mess!
Nor me 😮
😂😂😂
It looks bloody disgusting! If that's from England I'm a monkey's uncle!
The Xmas version is great.
Add sprouts for a real blow out.

Even school dinners weren’t as bad as this atrocity. It’s not a meal, it’s a war crime.
@mikekeller.erLooks like you dont know cooking.
In my 60 years of going around the sun NOBODY IN THE UK HAS EVER DONE THAT EVER
And never will. Bleugh!
😅
Gross.
My husband would never eat the cheese. Beans on toast, a family favorite
HAHAHAHA!
I would just like to say that this is in no way a British recipe  If you want cheese on beans on toast then make that, not this weird concoction :D Eggs in baked beans are tolerable as a way of getting a cheap high protein fix but otherwise don't do it :)
Do that with cornbread ,chili and cheese and you have something real special.
YES!

Beans on toast with cheese and a fried egg on top. A lot simpler and far quicker! Oh and don’t forget the cuppa. - London
English from Weymouth. I would just do beans on toast with a fried egg. Much quicker!
And slightly more appetising too, brown sauce and salt and pepper, very nice too.
I've had eggs on toast beans on toast and cheese on toast, just not all together.
I farted just watching this video
I know. I can smell it from here (Kalamata, Greece) !!

I reckon, but here in Bremen GA we eat our beans with slow smoked barbecue ribs, pulled pork and such.

I'm in Scotland and have never heard of this, but I'm willing to give it a try you never know until you taste something 😅
My dad grew up on a farm in Oklahoma and made something like this whic he called Shit On A Shingle.
I am from Venice Florida. It looks easy and tasty.

Im from the UK and I have never heard of this
Never heard of it ,from the UK
You learned this with a friend from England on April 1st. But only you actually ate it.
Good idea! But I think I will add tuna, onion and Italian seasonings ... 😊
Thank you for your recipe!
I’d also whisk the eggs before adding the beans and other ingredients.
Tastes even better if you poke your eye with a spoon first.
I’ve never seen this recipe before and I’m from the UK, I wouldn’t eat that if I was starving it looks like something the dog brought in.
Why can’t Americans use cutlery properly?
My mom was from England ,thier was no cheese just toast and pork n beans it was during WW2, I'm from missouri! ❤
Did she max the beans with eggs 🥚
Back then had some odd combinations just to ration and survive

It's not a recipe. It's a joke video, sillybilly
Its good with tripe and custard hhmmm yummy!
If you're going to eat bean's, cheese and eggs do it with tortilla's, some salsa for some zest.
I'm from Canada, having lived in England for many years I've seen my share of beans on toast with an egg on top. This minus the cheeses is another way to use those pantry staples.
