You are so gentle and kind. For those of us who see a salon and run the other way, you are helping us all get over our fear. I wish you were closer so that I could come to your salon, Anna you are the BEST!🌸
I can relate to these nails - I’ve been there. No one ever showed me how to care for my nails and “cuticles”. I have soft, thin, bendy nails and I used to tear at them all the time and pick at the living skin. I was very ashamed of my nails and myself. I can’t get much length, but from watching Anna’s videos, I finally have the proper knowledge of how to care for my nails (it’s really not that hard!) and they look amazingly better. I hope your client gets more manicures, I would love to see the transformation.
I literally WISH there was someone like you here in the states to do my nails. I’m an avid nail biter / skin picker and it’s been my life’s mission to stop- that is one thing but to have someone who is so knowledgeable about nail health would be so helpful. Thank you for your videos !!!
Anna can you please create a video on how to make natural nails that are wide and fan shaped ( they get wider toward the free edge)? I have searched youtube for instructions but every video swig how to make nails appear more narrow either uses hard gel or cuts the pnf to give the appearance of a longer nail bed...I know neither of those options are good for nail health. Thank you very much for considering and all your educational videos!
Anna will you be doing progress videos of this clients nails? They looked so much better after just 1 session with you, I'm eager to learn how they get on.
Love your videos!!! What are your thoughts on if biting gets worse with having nails unpainted what good options for polish might be? Would dip powders without buffing be okay? I certainly hear your points about no nail polish being better for natural nails, but what if that isn't accessible for someone yet?
I'm wondering why the cuticle remover wasn't used? My husband has the same problem, bitten nails and overgrown cuticles, so I'm going to try this on him, minus the drill bit bc I'm not a manicurist.
Because I do salon work and this method is very effective. But you can do this at home with cuticle remover and it will take a bit longer which is ok too. Just using the ointment I recommend (in the description box) and pushing back the living skin will make a huge difference.

I love your videos -- they've improved my nails so much! Quick question: Does it damage the nails to use glass implements to remove cuticle? Thank you!
Hello Flower girl! Thank you so much for your kind words! If glass tools are used properly then they shouldn't damage the nail. I show how I use a glass manicure stick (cuticle remover) here: th-cam.com/video/Pz6oW0BGbEc/w-d-xo.html
Hello karen, when working with e-file dry is better, way better. You can see exactly what you are doing. If the skin is very stuck I don't push it all the way, because it sticks up then. I nudge it gently and move it as far as it goes naturally. With each manicure this gets easier. The hard skin is due to lack of care, so proper skin care is a solution.
I show that in many of my videos. Here is a recent one :) Gentle, Relaxing Cuticle Cleaning w/ Blue Cross [ASMR] th-cam.com/video/yYxfxodGbiA/w-d-xo.html
I don't do any soaking before manicures as it softens the nails too much. With e-file I prefer to work on dry nails as you can really see what is what. For DIY'ers I recommend Blue Cross cuticle remover but more than anything regular nail care, daily Kerasal (for hard and overgrown skin) and oils after each hand wash. That softens the skin A LOT.

I love how you show real life clients with real life nails and explain and demonstrate the method to improve things realistically and gently.

I mean everything has pros and cons. Not a fan of dip.
Without proper prep it will not adhere properly.

I wish I could find a tech like you in my area but all of them specialize in Instagram nail art and don't care about short natural nail health.

Would it have been easier to soak the nails before you pushed back the living skin? Why did you choose dry technique?

Hi Anna how can I do the same process of removing the cuticle without an e-file?

Is it better to soak the fingertips first or not at all?

@@TheSalonLife thank you! I have all those items and will try to keep up with my nails. I pick at them if there is any dry skin .
Hi, does anyone know if Dazzle Dry is also available in the EU?
Hi E! No, it’s not ;(
🙂💯
