Anna's nails journey has been amazing to watch! I know it's helped a lot of people! So sad you guys aren't in the same city anymore 😢 hopefully Anna keeps up the amazing progress she's made! I really love the blue hand there's something about the white marble that just sets it apart 😍💙 another amazing video Anastasia!!!
her nails in the beginning of her journey with you looked just like mine did when i was a chronic nail biter! now my natural nails are super long! i started using tips and went to forms and doing regular fill ins until my natural nails grew out and now i just do an overlay over my natural nails. i am soo proud of how far i’ve come not only in not biting my nails anymore but also doing my own nails! all my friends can’t believe how great my nails look now! and all thanks to youtube and your videos helping me every step of my journey! to anyone suffering with biting your nails, i know how hard it is to stop! i bit my nails up into my 30’s and i never thought i would break that habit, but i did, and you can too! ❤️
I did the same. Had nails on from November to April. In March I took my acrylics off and started the poly gel from makartt, for an overlay over my long natural ones. Now I enjoyed how easy the we're so I wanted to try a different color plus practice doing them more. So I attempted to soak them off. Finding out I couldn't. Files them all off and did them again. This time with no natural underneath as I lost them filing the gel off. They were horrible. So I filed them off again. And now my nails are tissue paper thin, just peeling off and absolutely no free edge so no ability to do more poly gel. Does one recommend putting a tip on then poly gel? All ive seen is using the forms with a free edge. . Help I want my nails back.
@@bassmom434 You could put a thin layer of clear on your natural nail then colored polygel. And yes you can use tips to extend your nails. 😁❤ I hope that helps.
@@bassmom434 I personally don't like poly gel for this reason. Naio Nails has an amazing builder gel that is available to purchase for non-professional use and it is so so affordable. I had tried loads of other non-pro brands and Naio Nails is the only one that comes out on top for me! If you have a pro card, I've been enjoying using Gelish Structure gel and I'm soon going to give Magpie Beauty's builder gel a go. Keep your nails short for now but over with a builder gel and let them grow out. Using jojoba seed oil on the nails and cuticles is amazing (and you can mix your own nail oil easily! I use sweet almond oil, jojoba seed oil, vit e oil and any mix of essential oils. My go to mix is tea tree and lime)
This does make me sad. I obviously don't even know Anna but for some reason I've really enjoyed watching her nail journey with you. I think it makes me sad that she'll have to find someone new, we all know how hard it is to find someone you trust who does such a good job on your nails. She was so lucky to have you!
I have to say, the black marble is my fave. My heartttttt is broken that we may not see Anna’s continued growth. 🥺 What a wonderful transformation she has had!
They’re both beautiful! Good luck to Anna; she’s been so kind to share her journey with us and should be proud of herself. I hope she finds someone as good as you to do her nails!
Good news😊 and bad news 😢. Ana’s nails looks great . Such a good outcome Ana. Hopefully you will be able to see each other soon as we can her nail journey then .
I've commented this before on Anna's videos, but I just need you to know how much this means to me as an ex nail biter. I spent 32 years of my life completely embarrassed by my nails and every time I went to get extensions to help me stop biting, the nail techs were so rude and thoughtless that I never returned. I somehow found the will power to stop during lock down and now have rather nice medium length nails. I'm so lucky that my biting had no serious effects. I just want you to know that the way you treat Anna, with dignity and respect, means so much. You showcase her in a way that is about supporting her even when she goes back to biting. Idk but somehow it heals some long lost pain in me. 💜
Hi Anastasia, I like the dark marbel the best! You did a very good job! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 Greetings to you and also Ana! Her nails looks sooooooo good now! 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
Uhh the black with gold looks so elegant, and the one with white and baby blue looks cute. My favorite is the one with black. I'm sad because I won't see Ana's nails anymore, but I love her journey and dedication to bits! What a good client. ❤
"It looks boring!" "...Add gold" 🤣 OMG! Did anyone else squeal when they saw the picture for the video😍 You have taught Anna well master Jedi 💅 the journey continue she must. 🎊♥️ Seriously though! You've done such an amazing job 👏🏾 your dedication, determination and patients is not unnoticed. Thank you both for sharing a wonderful journey.
Thank you so much, I have learned so many new techniques on how to properly use polygel on myself from watching your videos with Anna. I had polygel product I wasn't using. Even my finish filing has gotten better. Thanks again.
You have helped Anna so much (and all of us watching). I hope you helped her find a good nail tech to take care of her from now on. Anna is now like a baby bird leaving the nest to continue the next phase of her nail journey.
I loved the black marble. But I think it is because liked the pink over blue. I have enjoyed Anna's nail and cuticle transformation. She was very lucky and smart to have stayed with you as her nail tech. Thank you for sharing. 💅❤️
She should be very proud of herself! Her nails look so good and healthy now and it's all thanks to you! I hope to see more of her journey. If not, maybe someone new will come along.
Wonderful! What an inspiration she has been. Someone who works hard with their hands, bites the nails and struggles to grow them. It’s such a treat to overcome so many hurdles and enjoy beautiful nails. I started using cuticle oil because of you and her journey. Because of that, my cuticles are almost completely healed, too. Best of luck to her and another great video, Anastasia. Warm wishes from Minnesota! ❤️❤️❤️ EDIT: There’s so much love in this comment section!
I love this journey for both of you. It must be very rewarding for you to look back where it started! I am so proud of Anna as well! It can be so difficult to stop an anxiety coping mechanism even if is unhealthy. ❤️❤️❤️
I love both hands to be honest. But I like the blue one more. 💙 I love seeing Ana's progress! She's come a long way and I'm so proud of her! I hope you guy's can meet again soon. I miss seeing her and her nail journey.
Beautiful nail's as usual Anastasia very sad to hear you won't be able to do Anna's nail's for awhile (you sounded so emotional 😥 but then I would've been as well)...as for the nail's both hand's look beautiful I really can't choose one over the other...take care and thankyou for sharing 💜💅💜
I have loved watching Ana's nail evolution!! It's so satisfying to see how far she's come. Anastasia, I accidentally hit the dislike button! Saw that little notification of sending feedback to creator and was like, Noooo!! 💕💕
I like the pink myself. I’m so sorry this messy world has separated you. But at least she has nice enough nails now to have them done by another good nail tech. I’m very glad you are staying safe and you look gorgeous as always. Always enjoy watching you and your wonderful videos. Congrats to Anna for her great progress. My own nails used to look like hers. If I don’t keep enhancements on them I go right back to biting and picking. 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
Such a fun design, I really like the different color on each hand, such a trendy choice and the gold foil just tied the whole design together and made the look cohesive. Nicely done ! 👏🏻🌟 🤔 I’m curious what it would have looked like if you would have used both the black and white watercolors on both hands, I think it would have given a nice contrast. Either way, her nail journey has been informative and entertaining. Her nails and cuticles are in such awesome shape now, you are a master tech 💯💕👏🏻👏🏻🌟💅🏻👸🏻
The design in the two colors looks gorgeous! I don’t know which I like better (what a dilemma!). I have to say it is incredible the journey you’ve had with Anna, her hands look so different than when she first started, they are now beautiful and delicate. I love that at least she got to finally have her favorite shape and in a longer version. Really beautiful! Who knows? Maybe she will attempt to do her own nails like your other client? Life has a funny way of taking us thru different experiences so whatever it is, I hope it is a good one. I will certainly miss your videos with Anna but there are tons of nail biters all over the world, hahha! Another lucky nail biter will cross your path soon (I hope!)
So sorry to hear you won't meet each other again... I have never seen this method you used for the ski jump nails... adding product under the nail. Hope to share with us this tip again in detail. I cannot choose the design i like both 👌
I love the way you teach Anastasia 💓. And I really love watching Ana's journey. Is it possible to request a play list of Ana's journey from the very beginning? Hope you can honor my request. Keep those great videos coming 😊
I can't choose they both are very beautiful. I hope Anna doesn't go back to the way her nails use to be because it's very hard to find a nail tech that you can trust and is very good at their craft.
Lol I use my own hands to practice and I'm constantly walking around with my hands done completely different from each other . I have people ask me where they can get it done too. 😆
Its a little funny to me that after all this time...Anna has ski jump nails! But you know because she's taken such good care of them and come in for fills so the nail has grown out enough to see this! Her nails look great.
I am hoping to be able to Join your class Soon, My nails were like Anna's and I have been trying to learn how to do Nails myself for this reason, I used to go to the Salon and they destroyed my nails and I decided that I wanted to do them myself and I started to do hard gel overlays and I really liked the way they looked and I hope that I will be able to make mine look like them💅. I want to Thank you for making these tutorials, They are very helpful, Thanks again Miss Marlee
This is exactly how I stopped biting my nails. I was the worst kind of nail biter too. 8 out of my 10 fingers were in pain all the time from chewing and ripping them too short. I started getting acrylic nails when I was 17 until I was about 20 and I never bit them again. I tried EVERYTHING to stop before and this was the only thing that worked.
Oh my goodness I haven't been this early for one of your videos before I don't think! 🤩 I was wondering through the whole video whether or not you're going to be able to do Anna's nails, I'm hoping that she is at least in the same country as you that isn't still where you were before for obvious reasons. I hope that Anna finds another nail tech with at least a modicum 🤏🏻 of the talent and care that you have 🥺💖💖🥺🥰✨🌈💅🏻
I love seeing the journey of Anna's nails!!! When I see how deep youy go with the orange wood stick it hurts me so bad! I can't push back my own cuticle without them to hurt like hell... I only use an e-file at supêr low spêed and sometimes it still hurt and bleed a very tiny bit... (am I alone to be like this?)
Do you have any connective tissue problems? I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, so my skin tears very easily. That's probably not your issue, but I know I have to be very careful doing cuticle care. Instead of using a cuticle bit, you should try using a cuticle remover that softens the skin, like the one from Blue Cross, and then use an orange wood stick. As long as you thoroughly remove it and dehydrate, you shouldn't have any issues with lifting.
@@skyefirenails not that I know of, my doctor never find anything at my check ups and since I'm a big girl she check a lot of stuff. I'm only thinking I'm sensitive, I always had my skin easy to bleed on that place.
@@Stef_T-G that's what I thought. Some people are just way more sensitive at their cuticles. But I think a cuticle remover or softener would really help you.
Good luck Anna, maybe it won't be too long till we see you again 😊. The gel brush used in this video looked very long and firm, can I ask for an informational video detailing your brushes and cheap alternatives along with places to source them? Thanku in advance ❤
My polygel is really hard to squeeze out of the tube. Idk why yours seems like the perfect consistency n mine is this ball that I really have to beat up to get it to spread
The black side looks a little better, but the marble design doesn't have enough lines. It kinda looks like you just painted it with polish. But I love how her nails grew.
I hope you’re able to refer her to a great nail technician that’s near her new city. I feel like now in days it’s so hard to find a great nail tech that knows what they’re doing and not just rushing out clients 😩
Hi, Anastasia! I have a question. How long can you use an orange stick without it losing its sharpness? I have bought a set of 5 sticks that seem to be made of quite soft wood and nearly after each use I have to throw it away and take out a new one. I'm not sure if this means I've just bought a cheap product and should look for something of better quality. Would you recommend I switch to a metal pusher instead?
Nail biters on this journey: do not give up. Do not hate yourself even if you relapse to the point where you're making yourself bleed and your nails hurt for several days from biting them too much. It's a habit, a bad one, and I know how hard it can be. Not wanting to grab the railings on the train/bus, never wanting anyone to see your hands, seeing the disgusted looks of the people right after they've realised what your nails look like... It's hard. Really, people will think you're exaggerating, but it is So. Freaking. Hard. The shame is sometimes unbearable. The pain, so horrible that you cannot even type on your keyboard. It WILL get better. You WILL manage to stop. It starts with taking good care of your hands. Hydrate them well. Apply hand cream 5 times a day. Gently massage your cuticles. Put on polish if you like to do that. YOU CAN DO THIS ♡ I started biting my nails when I was around 6 or 7 years old. I stopped for the first time at age 15 and started hydrating with nail oil and hand cream, gently massaging and pushing back the cuticles (not using tools, or sometimes a wooden one with gentle motions) and found that my nail beds got super long in just a few weeks of doing that. I managed to grow them quite long (for me), maybe 2 mm past the end of my fingertips. It stayed like that for 2 years and then I bit them again. Now it's been on and off. I'm 22 years old and I still bite them sometimes: especially the thumbs and pinkies (why? no one knows lol). But I still take care of my hands. Do not be ashamed of starting over, it's part of the process. WE CAN DO THIS !!! (I apologise for any typos/mistakes. English is not my first language.)
Anna's nails are slightly ski jump, so I need to build it so they won't look upwards. But normally for this length you need apex, it's just barely noticable
I think she’s going to be sadly disappointed if she thinks she’s going to get this kind of quality from someone else. Which really sucks, I can’t imagine going from you Anastasia to someone else. I don’t even know one place in the entire city or county where I live that does a dry manicure, even a regular one for that matter. I’ve yet to find anyone that doesn’t want to get me in take my money and move me along. And I’ve had nails for 30 years… does anyone in the comment section here get detailed work like this wherever u go?? I’m so curious
One day I decided my hands were disgusting. I'd been hiding my fingers my whole childhood. I was an adult. I had a child of my own to set an example for. I was cursed with weak, puny hair and nails. I think as a young child my nails were shaggy and to get rid of the snaggy bits I'd gnaw them off, starting a bad habit. So one day I just decided to stop. And I did. I felt that strongly about it. I just bought myself a glass nail file because emery boards shred my nail tips. I can't grow them long (they'd drive me nuts so that's ok) but the tips are neat and tidy and can be seen peeking over the fingertips from back. I even draw attention to them by using bold polish colors. So much better than hiding my hands! If I could stop, maybe you can, too. Do it it honor of someone you honor and respect. Do it for that person. That's what I did even tho the person never knew it.
I love your channel and watching Anna’s transformation, but I have to say that I’m not a fan of the removal of the nail fold. The eponychium looks really inflamed!

@@Anon_E_Muss I use a very good one each day! I only don't have much to push and I'm super sensitive to it. I don't have much dry skin to push or cut.
I love your voice ...
Annas nail beds are twice as long now!
I hope you’re able to refer her to a great nail technician that’s near her new city. I feel like now in days it’s so hard to find a great nail tech that knows what they’re doing and not just rushing out clients 😩
incredible beautiful
Can you do trendy swirly nail art with no nail tools?
Hi, Anastasia! I have a question. How long can you use an orange stick without it losing its sharpness? I have bought a set of 5 sticks that seem to be made of quite soft wood and nearly after each use I have to throw it away and take out a new one. I'm not sure if this means I've just bought a cheap product and should look for something of better quality.
Would you recommend I switch to a metal pusher instead?
I think it's intended to be single use,
But if you use it only for yourself - you can sharpen it with 180 grit file 😉
@@Nailcou Excellent suggestion, it would have never crossed my mind! Thank you! ^_^
I did not like either design. But her nails are in much better condition!
Hey what's the multi coloured cone e-file bit you used at the start to remove the product please 😌x
What was the name and brand of that beautiful pink you used.
So satisfiying yo ser this hehehe
could you do a video with alcohol inks, I have alot of trouble with them.
Pretty i like russian manucure, plz tell me you cure each nail alone?
Is apex really necessary with this length, or do you do one just for Ana?
Anna's nails are slightly ski jump, so I need to build it so they won't look upwards. But normally for this length you need apex, it's just barely noticable
as far as i’m aware, apex is necessary for most nail designs, it is what keeps it strong and is sometimes crucial to long lasting extensions
I ll miss ana
😮😥😢😭😭
Heyy
Anna is / hungry and full of anxiety which is why she eats her nails.
I love your channel and watching Anna’s transformation, but I have to say that I’m not a fan of the removal of the nail fold. The eponychium looks really inflamed!
Lol took me 5 videos to realise that Anna is actually not Anna .. She's just anonymous who's called Anna short for Anastasia. 😂😂😂smart !
Anna and Anastasia are two different names in Russia 😄, We use “Nastia” as short Version of Anastasia , and “Anya” is short for Anna 🙂
Oh man! I'm going to miss Anna, I really enjoyed watching you work on her hands and her progress has been amazing! Best of luck to her wherever she's headed!
