thanks for the video jason, im thinking of taking the family to the keys in march it will be our first time there, do you think its too cold and should come a warmer time? or is it ok for swimming in march?
Hi! Funny coincidence, we were just there for Thanksgiving, and it was exceptionally beautiful! The Keys can have some cold days, but it is generally a little warmer down there than even mainland south Florida. March could be either way, honestly, but I would expect it should be warm enough depending on your tolerance for cold water. (I'm a native, so 85 degrees is cold water lol). We are heading to Bahia Honda (about halfway down the chain and possibly the prettiest spot in the Keys) to camp in a couple of weeks, I'm hoping it warms up a bit - it was 44 this morning in SW Florida where I live!
